In looking for a stamp set to meet the Spring theme, I kept coming back to the set His Grace. I love the flowers, that was what drew me to the set when I first saw it. So I went with my instinct and made a very soft Easter card. You can’t get more Spring than this.
His Grace, 148676
This is a really easy card to replicate as there is not a lot of stamping. The floral is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends. The Tufted layer is just a soft touch I chose instead of using DSP which my detract from the floral.
The die cut circle is from Wonderful Floral Framelits. It is a simple WOW that I love! The different look it gives to a simple circle (or it has a touch of an oval maybe?) is a nice change. I popped it up with some dimensional and added a single pearl for some bling.

I hope that you will see the humor in today’s card. If you have followed me for very long, you will know that I love animals. When I first saw the new dog and cat stamp sets (Happy Tails and Nine Lives) in the Occasions Catalog, there was never a question of would I purchase them. I got them as quickly as I could. I love the stamps, but the sentiments are fabulous as well.
My favorite sentiment is the paw print, and next is “Keep Calm and Wag On” . We have had several dogs over the years and the last two were Labs. And they wag ALL The Time!!! So that was my beginning to this card.
Happy Tails Bundle, 150631
I really hope the tails look like they are wagging!!! At least that is my intention. Sometimes my vision doesn’t always work for others.
To make my wagging tail, I stamped and punched out the puppy. I then stamped two more tails on scrap paper and fussy cut them. I used glue dots to place them and then layered the puppy over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today’s card is a little variation of a simple card I have done several times. For this one I added some more layers to better match the beautiful designer series paper.
Birthday Cheer, 148604
Do you recognize the folded back corner from previous cards? It is a super easy, but cute card to make. Because of the blues and tan in the DSP, I decided to do more layers. It is not exactly as I envisioned, but I am happy with the results.
I used the Butterfly Duet Punch to punch the cupcake butterfly from another piece of this gorgeous DSP. Unfortunately it sold out almost immediately, but the wonderful news is that it is going to carry over to the Annual Catalog. So it will be back available in June. WooHoo!!! I adore punches.

Today I have the ultimate in simple cards for you. Something I have mentioned before are the packs of notecards in the Occasions Catalog. They are easy to overlook but are on the bottom of page 26 with the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card Pack. They are the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Cards and Envelopes. There are small note cards that measure 3 X 4 and large ones measuring 4 X 6. You get 10 of each size plus 10 envelopes of each size! That is a WOW for $8.50.
I took the small notecards and made a quick and easy birthday card. All I needed was one stamp set and a punch. Here you are!
Happiness Blooms Notecards , 148806
The front of the notecard is Night of Navy with a white inside. I coordinated the yellow layer to match the birthday candles and the Happy Birthday on the inside. Here is the inside view:
It was very simple to punch the circle from the front. I layed the stamp down to see which punch fit it and determined the 2″ Circle Punch was the perfect fit. I then centered it on the front and punched. I stamped through the hole to insure the perfect fit. That is so easy to do with the photopolymer stamps! I then stamped the sentiment on the inside with the Daffodil Delight but low enough to not be seen from the outside.
The front sentiment is from the Amazing Life stamp set as well as the cake and Happy Birthday. So a two product card! A Win/Win to me. I hope you think so too.

I hope you have looked at the new releases from Sale-A-Bration. Plus, the Organdy Ribbon was restocked and is available, while supplies last! But one of my favorite Sale-A-Bration sets is the Part of My Story stamp set. I really love the sentiments. For today’s card I have mixed some Annual Catalog products with that stamp set.
Part of My Story, 149719
I LOVE this sentiment! I feel this way about so many people and I believe it would make for an “anytime” type card. Or as a pick me up type card. Did you notice the new punch with the sentiment? It is the new release companion products to SAB. It is the Story Label Punch. Another great Punch, YAY!!
The stamp set I used is the Love What You Do stamp set from the Annual Catalog. It is a favorite just because of the simplicity. And I don’t think you can go wrong with a flower over a soft background. The splatter is a technique of flicking the tip of a Stampin’ Write Marker with the inside of it’s lid. It takes just a bit of careful practice and you will love it.
For this card I paired Powder Pink and Poppy Parade. I wasn’t sure at first but I am happy with the finished product. I do love playing around with all of the Stampin’ Up! colors. I am often surprised at what looks good together. To add to the colors, the Ombre Ribbon is actually Calypso Coral! Surprise 🙂

Today’s card is just a cheery card with what has become one of my favorite colors. Coastal Cabana is sort of a sleeper I believe. I love it, but then go to using my usual colors. I used it on one of my Club cards for last month and fell in love with it again. Here is today’s card.

I have paired the Coastal Cabana with Melon Mambo and love the way they compliment each other. The two pieces of Designer Series Paper are from the How Sweet It Is pack. I love the bright and the more subtle mix of the colors.

As I am typing this post, It is pounding rain outside with some thunder in the background. I know these last couple of months have been difficult for most people weather wise. I just would like to have a week of no rain! I think this weather is what inspired today’s card! 😕
Fable Friends, 148670
LOL!! This is how I feel. I was looking through my stamps for inspiration and when I saw this one I knew it was perfect for this post. I may have gone a tad overboard with my rain drops, LOL!!!, but it is how I feel right now.
I do truly love this Fable Friends stamp set. It reminds me of my childhood reading, but the figures are just so adorable. And the “sunshine sentiment” is a wishful thinking sentiment!.
The Stampin’ Blends have really brought back my love of coloring. I find myself reaching for them quite often. I hope not too often for you folks! They were perfect for coloring these cuties though. The rain is from Touches of Texture. I inked the stamp with Balmy Blue and stamped off before stamping on the whisper white card stock. And the finishing touch was the “sun” sentiment with a couple of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

The Artfully Aware stamp set is a wonderful stamp set and has the flexibility to show Support and Love for a number of reasons / causes. I have used it a couple of times but have never posted one of the cards. When I looked at it yesterday, I just thought how Inspiring people going through difficult situations can be to others. I know I admire them for their courage and determination. I also know that I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Sorry for the narrative, but this is where I got the inspiration for this card.

When I saw Brian King’s card for the GDP178 Sketch Challenge yesterday I fell in love with the layout. So I decided to give it a try as well. I went with a mixture of Annual Catalog, Occasions Catalog, and Sale-A-Bration products. It really shows the flexibility and coordination of Stampin’ Up! products I believe.

I really don’t know why, but I have loved this typewriter since it first debuted. I think because it stands alone very easily and has the flexibility of adding a small sentiment on the piece of paper. It makes for quick and clean style cards. Regardless I immediately thought of it for my focal point.
The side sentiment is half of an Itty Bitty Birthday sentiment. I omitted the second line that says “you are just older”. I put that on the inside of the card along with Happy Birthday. I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to color only the half of the sentiment I wanted to use. The Basic Black marker is the only one you can buy individually. I believe it is a must have. And especially for these type occasions.

Here is the Tote. It is a great size, has dividers that can be moved for whatever products you are carrying each use. There are two outside pockets that are large enough to hold punches, and much more. There is a zipper outside pocket. It has regular straps as well as a shoulder strap. It has the Stampin’ Up! logo. It is made of a great heavy weight canvas. And it is so Pretty!!
I love different folds for cards. There is nothing wrong with the normal “fold it in half”, I just like to add a bit to the card with a different look. Today I am sharing one that is a little different.

You know how much I love BRIGHT cards, so I am sure this color scheme does not frighten you! This is the Happiness Blooms Suite of products. I love this entire Suite, and have used several different pieces on this card.
I mentioned this is a bit of a different fold/ layout. Here is the open view so you can see.

Do you see what I mean? The front section of the card is cut off and then a large panel is layered on top of it. You get to see the gorgeous Designer Series Paper. I like that it is just a bit different. I hope you do as well.
The flowers are punched with the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack which is part of the Bundle. I LOVE these little guys! One of the punches will punch a small circle. I used a couple for the inside of flowers. But I also used the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots for a few of the flower centers. I was just being different and wanted to add some different textures. In case you wonder why I have included the Paper Piercing Tool in my supply list, it is what I use to pick up the glue dots and place under the flower. I also use it to pick up the embellishments, like pearls, rhinestones, and the enamel dots. I have done this for so long that I am having a hard time transitioning to the Take Your Pick tool. It does much more but I find myself reaching for my old faithful!

Cut a section of the front off at 5 3/4.
The front layer is 4 1/8 X 4 1/8 of card stock
The front layer White is 4 X 4
The left front card stock beneath the DSP is 1 3/8 X 5 3/8
The left front DSP is 1 1/4 X 5 1/4
The inside card stock is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
The inside DSP is 4 X 5 1/4
The inside White is 3 3/4 X 3 3/4 (It fits under the front flap so you do not see it with the card closed)
