Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you have shared at least one of your hand made card filled with love. I think all of our hand made cards are filled with love personally. But today is a special one. I looked for a set that maybe would not scream Valentine’s Day. And I believe I found it for today’s card.
STAMPS
The stamp set I found to spread love is the Sending Love stamp set. I only used the stamps with no Dies. And all of the stamps used are from this one set. The mail box is the main aspect and is not exactly colored traditionally! All of the coloring is done using Stampin’ Blends. I used Smoky Slate for the post but topped it with Highland Heather. And added Granny Apple Green for the mail box itself. I know this would not fly in most communities, but it can work in this card’s world.
To add the sentiment was a question for me. I knew I would have to cut it as this is one long sentiment. It really would not look proper being larger than the focal panel. There was this scrap of Peach Pie on my desk and the answer presented itself. I stamped on the Peach Pie and then simply cut the sentiment in half. This brought out yet another color of the DSP in a fun way. Plus pairs perfectly with the mail box theme.
PAPERS
These sheets of DSP are both from the Toadstool Garden Designer Series Paper. This is a Free 6X6 paper pack in Sale-A-Bration. With a qualifying order this is one of the products you can choose. SAB goes through the end of the month so you still have time to get some of the freebies!
I pulled all of the colors from the toadstool sheet of DSP. The Peach Pie was a surprise addition but I love how it helps those mushrooms to pop. The card base is Granny Apple Green. That striped sheet is a mix of Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather. Those are the colors I tried to add in to the mailbox panel.
EXTRAS
The trio of shimmer gems are all from the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. I used different shades of the pink/purple and then a Peach Pie one as well. This is a more whimsical card where it does not require elegant bling!
LAYERS
The card base measures 4 1/4 X 11 and is scored at 5 1/2. The two DSP strips are 2 1/2 X 5 1/8 for the left side and 2 X 5 for the right side. For the focal layer there is a thin layer of Granny Apple that measures 2 3/4 X 4 3/8 with the Basic White layer being 2 3/8 X 4 1/4.

Making cards can be fun and challenging! Occasionally it takes a paper a little while to speak to me. This Rustic Harvest finally spoke out!
Papers
The star of this card is this piece from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series paper. This pack of papers is beautiful and has great colors, but this one was a bit more difficult. It was the yellow pumpkins and gourds that were stalling me in deciding which direction to go. Finally my little brain picked up on the gorgeous leaves. And the card was finished! Well, almost finished. By using the Merry Merlot, which is a color I rarely use, it brought the leaves out from that dark background. Of course the larger layer of Basic White helped with that.
Stamps
The Hello Harvest Bundle, Hello Harvest stamps and Rustic Pumpkin Dies, is a match for this DSP. But after finally getting the paper idea worked out, I did not want to cover it up! The banner sentiment is a stamp with a matching die. So using Mossy Meadow Ink and then die cutting the banner I was almost finished. There was quite a lot of debate about a background layer for the banner. But finally I decided it could stand alone. However, I did notice the small leaf stamp and matching die. So I used Merry Merlot Ink and added the little die cut leaf to the top edge of the card. With that leaf and a few of the Brushed Metallic Dots placed around, I declared it good to go.
Thank you for looking today!

Sympathy cards are unfortunately necessary. Blessings of Home fit the need of necessity and still quite pretty.
Stamp sets
The sweet sentiment I chose is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. This set has great “caring” type sentiments. I paired this with a subtle, but pretty, flower from the Blessings Of Home stamp set. To have the flower appear softer than usual, I used Petal Pink Light Stampin’ Blends to create a squiggled background. Then stamped the flower with Smoky Slate for a softer outline. To continue the soft, I colored only the leaves with Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend. The Pale Papaya shows through for the flower petals.
Colors
The cardstock colors were chosen from the flower colors. I went with the Smoky Slate card base with a Soft Sea Foam layer. The light green helps the leaves to show off a bit more. On cards with this type layout, the sentiment is not normally the star. But I wanted it to be on this one. So it is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black for a brighter appearance. The card is finished with a scattering of small Pearls.

Today I am sharing the Morning Star stamp set. It is a sweet stamp set that pairs with the Stitched Stars Dies that were part of the Holiday Catalog. The stamp set they were paired with in that catalog retired, but the dies carried on. I love that Stampin’ Up! is extending the life of dies and punches. That is so nice on our pocket books! Here is today’s card.
The flowers on the card are the morning glory flowers and vines. Some may consider them weeds actually. I always thought they were pretty first thing in the morning. I used the Rococo Rose for the flowers and Pear Pizzaz for the vines. They are my flowers and don’t have to be the correct color. I love the Rococo Rose.
I used the flowers as background for one of the larger of the Stitched Stars dies. The center star is two sizes smaller. I stamped the star stamp with the Rococo Rose as well. The stars are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.
I have loved the Scalloped Linen Ribbon since it debuted. I just never seem to have the proper place for it. Today’s project is Perfect!!! I paired the ribbon with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. I punched out the sentiment, which is from the stamp set. I also used the ribbon slot that is part of the punch. There are guides on the bottom of the punch on each end of the slot to assist you in lining it up. I was very pleased at how easy it worked. I usually have a backing for my sentiment layers. With the ribbon slides and the sentiment like a buckle, I did not feel it needed a backing. You will see me using that punch a lot more now that I have played with it!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you liked today’s card and will return tomorrow for another one.

I have a quick and simple Get Well card or Thinking of You type card to share today. Sometimes it seems we need these type cards on short notice. I like to have some of these on hand so I can send them right away. My memory isn’t what it used to be!! LOL!!
Fussy cutting may not be your idea of fun. But this rose and leaves actually are easy to cut out. I stamped them originally on a layer and just didn’t like the look, so out came the paper snips.
The sentiment is from one of my new favorite stamp sets, Inspiring Iris. It is layered using the Story Label Punch and the Timeless Label punch.
The gorgeous background paper is from the Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper. I have used it with the Christmas Rose set. But isn’t it great to see that it works on a non Christmas card? Another reason to purchase the bundle of products.
Thanks for visiting today. Please return tomorrow. I am participating tin the Pals Blog Hop by Mary Fish.

I hope you are looking at the Christmas Rose Suite of products that Stampin’ Up! has recently introduced. Oh My!! It is all beautifu! I splurged and got it all, which I usually do not do on the limited releases. I will say, I was very pleased when it all arrived. I cannot say enough about the colors. The gold glitter dots and gold ribbon are the icing on the cake for me. I even ordered the bracelet as well. It is gorgeous. It has a little Stampin’ Up! tag along with the rose tag. It is adorable.
Today’s card is sharing a bit of the Christmas Rose paired with some other SU products. As I have said before, that is one of the reasons I love SU. The ability to mix and match is wonderful.
The Christmas Time Is Here Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! It has gold touches throughout. I chose the Poppy Parade to pull from it, as well as the Mossy Meadow. The twine is the Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo pack.
The die cut behind the sentiment is from the Roses Dies, part of this suite of products. It is so pretty. The sentiment is from the Inspiring Iris stamp set. I loved this sentiment from the first time I read it in the catalog. It is so sweet and I am blessed to have a couple of people in my life this sentiment is perfect for. I gave this card to one of those ladies. The sentiment is punched with the Timeless Label Punch and then layered on the tags from the Frosted Bouquet Dies. The tag is a layer of Gold Foil and Poppy Parade. The sentiment is stamped in the Gold Metallic Ink.
I have a link to the Christmas Rose Suite of products under the UPDATES at the end of this post. Please take a look at the array of products. You can order the entire suite, the stamp and dies, or any mix of the items.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for another InKing Royalty Blog Hop! You will love the great Halloween type projects.
