I am mixing old and new again today. Another Stamp Bundle that I loved from convention is going to be Live with the new Online Exclusives on May 6th. (Which is the same day the New Annual Catalog launches!)
STAMP& PUNCHES
This fun cookie jar is from the upcoming Sweet Jar Punch Bundle. I really love punches and this one cuts the cookie jar and the lid. Additionally there are a few different images for inside the jar. It is going to be a year round go to.
The cookie jar was stamped using Basic Beige Ink for the jar. (Sorry my photo got washed out when trying to clean up some things) And the lid was stamped using Blueberry Bliss Ink. I decided on chocolate chip cookies today. Which happens to be one of the images. The cookies are one stamp and the chips are a separate one. So I could have made my favorite, which are sugar cookies!
The sentiment is from the stamp set as well. It is also stamped with Blueberry Bushel. And is on a punch out from the Keeping Tabs Punch. I did this card for my club ladies and most cut the tab in half. I folded it over the two layers.
PAPERS
This paper may look familiar to you. It is one of the sheets from Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. This is the pack that has oranges and lemons on one side and blue tiles on the other. I have used this paper often and am thrilled to say it is carrying over.
The card base was pulled form the DSP. It is Night of Navy. As a surprise choice, even to me, I went with Misty Moonlight for the layer and the band for the cookie jar. It seemed to work best with the DSP, so who am I to argue.
EXTRAS
There are a few Extras on this card. First is the twine. This is a darker brown, when you can see the true color, to match the cookies. It is the darkest brown in the Naturals baker’s twine multi pack. And for bling, I used the Adhesive-backed Gold Hearts. These are in a few different sizes and are totally flat. Sadly they are on the Last Chance List. So do not hesitate to add these to your next order before it is too late.
DOUBLE REWARDS
Two days only, May 2-3, is Double Rewards. What a way to begin the new Rewards Program! Now is the time to really stock up on some of the Last Chance List. Or items that are Bundled in the Annual Catalog. Even if they are carrying over, they generally are no longer bundled. So you lose that 10% discount. Just food for thought!

The new Stampin’ Rewards begins on April 15. I think you will Love this new version. You will earn rewards on all orders over $20.00 in products The system will track your rewards for you. And they will be available for use on your next order, or you can save up for a larger purchase. All you need to do is on your first order after April 15th is agree to participate. The card today is made from the fabulous new Textured Notes Suite of products. I did not use everything, but came close. If you like texture, then these products are for you.
STAMPBUNDLE
The Textured Notes Bundle is one of the new Online Exclusives that dropped yesterday. This is definitely a favorite. I first was drawn to this bundle because of the Dies. They are rectangle, layering Dies with different detailing around the edges of each. You can see the detail on the cane weave DSP layer as well as the sentiment layer.
Then after getting the stamp set, I was really drawn to the different images of texture and the simple floral. That doesn’t even take into account the sweet sentiments. There are a couple of different ones that have this fun scripted font. You can also see a different detail on the sentiment layer. I added the little floral to the sentiment layer by fussy cutting it. It was not difficult or time consuming to do. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso Ink with the foliage tone on tone with Pecan Pie.
PAPERS
These different papers may be the star of the card actually. They are both part of the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. The images are so clear and detailed that you want to run your fingers across them to feel the texture! The cane weave is beautiful, but I also love the linen look on the sentiment layer. And it is actually the opposite side of the cane weave. All of the sheets are as vibrant as these.
The card base and layer are colors I saw in the DSP. For the card base I went with Pecan Pie and then Crumb Cake for the layer. These work very well together.
SPECIAL TOUCHES
The most stand out of the card may be the bottom layer. This cardboard looking layer is made using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The detail and depth of the design is fabulous. Even though it is simply a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, it looks like much more.
There must be bling. Although with the more rustic scene, I felt shiny bling would be out of place. So the new Neutral Matte Dots fit the need perfectly. Actually I did not realize the Pecan Pie was even one of the dot colors. There is a trio of them scattered around.
HOST CODE
My FEBRUARY HOST CODE is S2EYAW9N. Orders of $50.00 or more will receive an appreciation gift from me. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator!

The Trucking Along Bundle is back in stock and waiting for many awesome cards to be made with it! I have used it today, along with some other layering products for a cute Thank You card. We can never have enough of these around.
Stamps
This card seems to have more individual products than I have used in quite a long time. But the star of the show is the Trucking Along little truck. I do love this truck! It is so versatile, not only in adding the Punch with it, but everything else that is in the stamp set. And please don’t laugh at me, or with me, but I did not use the punch! I stamped the truck and the sunflowers in the bed and was so happy how I perfectly placed the flowers. Then I realized when I punched the truck the flowers would be gone! DUH!!!! So out came the paper snips and it was an easy fussy cutting instead of punching.
The sentiment is not from the Trucking Along. Everything else is however. The sentiment is from the Wildlife Wonder stamp set. I just loved the mixed fonts of this one. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the truck is stamped with Pretty Peacock. The color of the truck is a stamped off Pretty Peacock also. The splotchy color goes well with the “old farm truck” look I wanted.
Papers
The card was intended to be pretty simple. That did not last long at all though! But I did begin with a Thick Very Vanilla card stock for the base and then a thin layer of Pretty Peacock. The DSP at the bottom was another piece that just seemed to have the patina of the “old farm truck” and fit the sunflowers as well as the Pretty Peacock color. It is from the Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper. The largest circle is also Pretty Peacock card stock for a bold backdrop of the truck.
Extra Products
There are several “extras” on this card. First is the background of Very Vanilla that has been embossed using the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder. It may be a little difficult to see in the photo. But this is a very detailed embossing folder. The next are the circles. These are cut using the Deckled Circles Dies. There are a lot of dies in this Die set. The ones I used are the 2nd and 7th going up from smallest.
The other products are more finishing touches to the card. First is the Natural Wavy Trim across the bottom of the DSP layer. With all of the various extras raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I wanted something to sort of ground that piece of DSP. The wavy trim fit perfectly. And to finish the card I went for more masculine bling! I used the Brushed Metallic Dots in a copper color. There are a couple of different metallic colors in this collection of dots.
Thank you very much for stopping by today!!!

My card to share today is a CASE from fellow demonstrator, and friend, Paula Butler. When we receive a pretty card it is perfectly fine to change a bit and make it your own.
Papers
It is really difficult to say what is the most important part of this card. They are all great on their own! But I will begin with the papers. These are strips from three different sheets of the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper. I know that I have used this quite a bit. And I will continue to use it! There is not a bad sheet in this pack. And it is currently 15% off!! These strips are each 1 X 4.
The card base is Thick Basic White card stock. I added the thin layer of Lost Lagoon as it is a color in all three of the DSP papers. The gorgeous die cut piece is from the Gorgeously Made Dies. I love that this piece has great detail and it is large enough to stand alone as I have used it. This piece is from Crushed Curry card stock.
Stamps and Other Products
This is a pretty simple card but does include a variety of products. However it could be made utilizing things that you already have. Unless you are like me and want the new things you see!!! To begin this section I will start with the embossed layer of White. The embossing folder is one I really do love! It is one of three that are in the Online Exclusives store. They do not have names other than they are Basics Embossing Folders. The detail on this one is fabulous.
The next extra is the sentiment layer. The sentiment itself is from the Happy Labels stamp set. And it fit perfectly on the rough cut Die cut from the Gorgeously Made Dies. This is the same Die set as the floral piece. I like the jagged edges. With the fairly busy prints of the DSP, I did not need a lot of finishing touches. But again, there must be bling! So there is one small Gold Glossy Dot added next to the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping in today!!!

I hope you are as excited as I am for the new Annual Catalog to be LIVE!!!!! My wallet is not quite as happy, but my heart is. Waiting on the new items is the hardest part. So I have a few new products to share with you in today’s card.
Stamps
If you have been following me for very long, you know that I love the whimsical and just different stamp sets. This stamp set is not really different, but it spoke to me. And I am so happy it did. I believe this is the perfect image for a number of reasons. It is on page 117 of the new catalog. To make the post box a little brighter, I decided to add the touches of blue. The POST is stamped again on scrap with the Azure Afternoon Ink Pad. It is cut close to the letters and then overlayed over the black letters. I wanted it to stand out more and that was a simple way to do that. The pretty plaque on the box is colored with the Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends.
A simple Note is a great reason for a card. Especially when the sentiment is so elegantly scripted for the I Like You sentiment. To go along with that sweet front sentiment, the inside one is even better. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of it. But it is a very plain block letter that says “so you get a card” !! I love that! You get classy and simple all in one card.
Layers and Colors
The card base is Basic White to go along with the image layers. And the first thin Basic Black layer is to add to the pop of the black with the post box and the sentiment. The pretty layer is the Azure Afternoon card stock embossed using the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder. In my mind it somewhat is similar to the plaque on the post box.
Dies
The fun shapes for the image and sentiment are from the Countryside Corners Dies. There are five dies like the image one and then two small for sentiments. They are a great size for most images and for layering. The sentiment piece is another example of a use of the die. It is the smaller of the 5 same shaped ones. I die cut it and then stamped in the upper end. Using the Paper Trimmer I then cut it just below the sentiment. By placing it in the bottom corner, it seems a perfect shape and fit. The final touch was a scattering of the Classic Matte Dots in black. The third one is sort of hiding. It is in the center of the blue plaque on the post box.

A great way to let someone know we are thinking of them is by sending a card. And today’s card is Sending Love & Hugs! What a great combination.
Stamps and Dies
This card is one that I consider a Smile card. It brings a smile to my face with the fun colors and sentiment. Hopefully it does to you and the recipient as well. Plus it has SMILE in the name. The Sending Smiles Bundle is a die bundle. It includes the flowers and sentiments I used with additional pieces as well. Another nice thing about this card is that it was made using only the one stamp set. All of the sentiments which pair with the “Sending” are just as cute as this one is.
For the Dies used, most are from the Bundle. This includes the flowers, stems, sentiment shape, and the double layer of “Sending”. Additionally I used one of the Scallop Contours Dies for the shape of the background. Those scallops fit the personality of the other pieces.
Paper and Color
Strangely enough for me, the stamp set came before the DSP this time. But in deciding what colors to use for the flowers, I looked at different DSP to get them. And I found this sweet piece from the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. The bold hearts are a perfect match.
The flowers are Fresh Freesia stamped onto Fresh Freesia cardstock. The leaves and stems are Parakeet Party, as is the sentiment layer. Since these colors are softer, I wanted a bolder color for the large layer. And the Starry Sky fit perfectly. Again, I chose that from looking at which color stood out the most on the DSP piece.
Extra Touches
The two layers for the “sending” sentiment are what really makes this card I believe. And I will admit to having had to die cut two of the top layer. The first time I failed to add some of the Adhesive Sheets to the cardstock prior to cutting. Those letters are really too fine, and it’s a long word, for me to attempt to add liquid glue. So an adhesive sheet is a time and sanity saver for me!!
The final touch for the card was adding a little bit of bling. This time I used a couple of the Glossy Dots. They come in a variety of colors on one sheet and a variety of sizes. There are two of the small ones one each end of the sentiment and a large one on the largest flower.
