I was thrilled to receive one of these cute little calendars at OnStage in Orlando back in November. Brian King, my upline, and our InKing Royalty Team gathered with a Team from England and Netherlands one evening. During the evening we snacked , of course, and did a card exchange. Lotte Noordzig-Walther made these adorable A-Frame desk calendars and I could not wait to get home and try it. I finally ordered the calendars. (I got mine from Taylored Expressions.) But with the holidays, and the new products, I had pushed it to the corner of my desk. I made my first one last week and was thrilled. I had used retired DSP for the first attempt and now have created one with current products. So here it is>
Flowering Desert, 148700
And here is a bit of the side view to see the A-Frame.
The one Lotte gave us had card stock as the base so you do not see the opposite side of the DSP. I obviously did not think of that when I used this DSP. But I loved the theme of sparkles and fabulous.
I used a variety of Foil Sheets on this. I needed it to match the DSP, which is Broadway Bound by the way. Behind the calendar is Silver Foil, behind the sentiment is Gold Foil , and the heart is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. It comes in a pair of Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets. I used the Lovely Lipstick for my heart. And isn’t that heart beautiful? It is from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.
The sentiments are from Flowering Desert for the Awesome and So Hoppy Together for the You can do anything. Sometimes we need these subtle reminders that we are Awesome!!
Lotte’s directions on her blog are not in English. Luckily the measurements were in English. Her blog is www.alottestampingfun.nl . I have included the measurements below. The A-Frame is the main point and you can decorate it as you see fit.
I hope you have a wonderful day and Thank You for stopping by. Tomorrow is the Pals Blog Hop, so please come back and Hop Along with us and see all the great projects.
Measurements:
4 X 11 7/8
Score at 4 5/8, 9 1/4, 10 1/4, 11 1/4
Fold and burnish the score lines
Make a Mountain/Valley with he three close together scores. Place Tear & Tape on the end piece and attach it to the front of the A-Frame. They should lay down and line up perfectly.

It is made of a great heavy weight canvas. And it is so Pretty!!
I have mixed old and new in today’s project. I am always so happy when I do this and and am reminded of how Stampin’ Up! ink and paper coordinate. For me, that is one of the greatest things about the products.
I have mixed new stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog with Designer Series Paper and card stock from the Annual Catalog. Be prepared…..it is another BRIGHT card!
Birthday Cheer Bundle, 150576
I do not believe you could look at this card and not smile. And I love that!! I looked for bright DSP to base the card on and I knew this was the one as soon as I looked at it. It is from the Animal Expedition DSP pack. It is another of the “opposite” sides that I really love. I pulled the Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst from the DSP. I added the layer of white to sort of ground all the bright though.
I love this Birthday Cheer Bundle and the versatility of the this set and matching dies. They can be used for more than birthdays and are great for any age. I love the tag in the die set and used the “It’s Your Day” from Itty Bitty Birthdays to add another layer of fun to the card. It does not reflect well in the card, but I used my patented 🙂 drag the marker around the white card stock technique to give a bit of a border to the tag.
As I was adhering the layers, I felt like it needed just a bit of something else. I solved that problem with the Glitter Enamel Dots. Again, I feel like the pieces all pair perfectly.
Thank you for visiting today. I very much appreciate it. I have the Ultimate Shopping Experience explained just below. And the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post. I hope you have a great week!

Have you thoroughly flipped page by page of the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalogs? Mine are already dog eared from being flipped through so many times. But then I have had a head start on you. Please remember that you have access to the online catalogs by clicking on the catalog on the right side of my page. It takes you to all three current catalogs and you can open the pdf of each. So they are always at your fingertips!!
Now to share a new project with you. This is a great new stamp set that pairs with an existing punch and stamp set. Can you guess which one? Yes, it is a match to Mary Fish’s Million Dollar stamp set and punch named Varied Vases. This set coordinates with the punch and has great sentiments and fonts. For me anyway, pretty fonts are a must have. So here is my card
Vibrant Vases, 148656
I love how vibrant this Night of Navy card and envelope are. And yes, it is a new item as well!! It is on the bottom of page 26. The cards and envelopes come in two sizes in the package of 20. So you get ten of each size with matching envelopes. I especially love the striping on the inside of the flap.
This card, and the layout, are super quick and easy. It would be great for any smaller stamp. I chose to go with the one single vase of flowers and a beautiful sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed this first day of the new catalogs! I will have more new ideas fo you next week. All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the page. But please do not stop here. I have outlined all the great reasons for becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator right now. Of course, this offer is good during Sale-A-Bration, so you have from now through March to consider it. I hope you will jump on the opportunity now and begin experiencing all the great products you can choose from.

Today I have another card using Retiring Products. I have included some retiring designer series paper as well as a stamp set. The set has been great for small cards. I used it several times for Fall Thank You cards and some table decorations. I also adore the name of this stamp set, Many Blessings! The sentiments in the set reflect that name too, which is part of what makes the different pieces so versatile. Here is my project for today.
Many Blessings, 147775
And after mentioning the cute sentiments, I did not put one on the front of the card. Duh! I love this gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series Paper. Especially these two which are Blackberry Bliss. For me at least I find myself preferring the “back side” of the DSP as much as the fronts. I think of them as having backs and fronts, doesn’t everyone? LOL!
I was showcasing the DSP as well as the cute stamp, so the card is fairly simple. I stamped the image in Gray Granite and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends. I finished with going over the flowers and pot with Wink of Stella to give it a little shine.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed these last minute cards. The 2019 Occasions Catalog and the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Catalogs go live tomorrow! I know I have a long list and hope you do as well. If you need catalogs, and do not currently have a demonstrator, I would love for you to reach out to me. I can get one to you quickly.
I have the measurements for today’s card just below this and the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.
I hope you had a great New Year’s Eve and a wonderful beginning to your New Year. I stayed home and enjoyed the quiet.
Today I am continuing with sharing new projects with some of the Retiring Items from the Holiday Catalog. Today’s project uses a stamp set that I am surprised did not carry over. It has multiple stamps for most of the different times of year. I am referring to the Making Everyday Bright stamp set. The matching punch and stamp set did carry over however.
I have also used my Stamparatus for another great “Additional Idea”. I have posted previously about the “Wreath Blank”. You can see that HERE. That post explains the wreath process and how to make one of your own. I will remind you that I used the Layering Squares Dies. And used the largest of the Non-scalloped ones. I suggest making a couple of the templates to have on hand. I store mine in the Stamparatus Carry Bag so I always know where they are.
Here is today’s project, which could be either a “love you” or Valentine card.
Making Everyday Bright, 148813
I will say that I TWO Step wreath maker on this one. The stamps were not cut to allow doing the bulb and the glow at the same time. So I had to do the process twice to get both images. I believe it was well worth my time to do that. I am very happy with the final product.
I did have trouble deciding what to put in the center. I finally decided on the heart from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I punched it from Flirty Flamingo card stock and then added some Fine Tip Glue Pen glue to the top of it for a bit of added shine.
The inside of the heart lightbulbs are colored with the Light Flirtly Flamingo Stampin’ Blend. The DSP I used is the beautiful All My Love DSP from the upcoming Occasions Catalog.
Thank you so much for checking out my post. I hope this gives you some cause to review the Clearance Rack for this stamp set. As always, the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.
