I have another card made with the beautiful A Mother’s Flair stamp set. It is not a Mother’s Day card, just a focus on one of the stamps. And it is a really quick one as well.
A Mother’s Flair, 145905
This card is a great way to utilize the left over strips of Designer Series Paper. On this card I have used Naturally Eclectic. The arrows are just one of the strips of arrows. The blue piece is 2″ wide.
I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the stamp. I then took lighter shades of pink and green to fill in the flower stamped image. It is punched with the 2 ” circle punch and the Starburst punch.
Thank you very much for visiting today. I hope you will stop back tomorrow, as I will be participating in the Stampin’ Pretty Blog Hop. There will be a large number of great cards / 3-D for you to check out.

Before I get to the treat holder I have for you, I want to let you know about a special that begins today. The Fast Fuse Adhesive Mega Special is back!! Last year Stampin’ Up! had a promotion and it was so popular that supply depleted much quicker than expected. Therefore the special was shortened by quite a lot. It Is Back!!! From Today through February 12, when you purchase 1 Fast Fuse Adhesive, you will get 2 Fast Fuse Refills FREE !!! That is an awesome deal! I hope you will take advantage of it.
Now for the cute little treat holder I have made. It is super quick, simple, and easy to make multiples of. I used the Diaper Fold and 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to create it.
Tutti Fruiti 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, 145606
I just adore this Tutti-Fruitti DSP. The colors are very vibrant and there are so many different designs. The sentiment is from the Yay You Host set from the Occasions Catalog. That set is wonderful and unfortunately gets overlooked being in the back of the little catalog.
I fit a Ghirardelli Chocolate into my little holder. But I know there are a lot of other candy, tea, etc that would fit in one of these. You can also make them larger. Just continue using a square sheet of card stock or DSP. The hardest decision to make is which direction you want the DSP to go!!
For a more finished product, I wrapped this treat holder up. I did not have any of the 3 X 6 Gussetted Bags, so I used the 6 X 6 bag and folded it. My tag is from the carried over from Holiday Catalog set, Labels To Love, and the Everyday Label Punch. I think this is a sweet little treat to give to someone.
Labels To Love, 144967
Thank you for stopping by today! I very much appreciate it and hope you will tell your friends to take a look at my creations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Remember the FAST FUSE SPECIAL !!!!

I did something scary yesterday! I cut apart a stamp !!! That is the first time I have ever done that. I have seen a few cards with the We Must Celebrate stamp set and the lovable little animals. And then I saw other demonstrators posting cards with only one of the animals, and another with several stacked on top of each other.. That was my deciding moment. What do you think of this?
We Must Celebrate, 145898
Looking at these cute faces makes me smile. Since I have been on a coloring kick with the Stampin’ Blends for a while, these cute animals just fit right in. In a way I think it looks like a kid colored it. Then I look again and really liked it. But I hope it gives you ideas for this wonderful stamp set.
The background was totally created with the Stampin’ Blends. I like the unevenness of the grass and sky. It gives it some depth without looking too solid. But more that anything, I just enjoyed coloring and letting my imagination go. I really hope you will give it a try as well.
Thank you so much for visiting today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

I spent part of the day on Sunday coloring with the Stampin’ Blends markers. Oh my….they are so special. I like them more every time I use them. There have been many examples of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper being colored with the blends. That is what I did. Here is one of the cards.
You’re Inspiring, 145808
I named the photo for the stamp set I used. But the real star of the card is the Petal Passion DSP. I cut a strip of the 12 X 12 DSP into three 4 X 4 pieces. I then colored each of them differently. I was really enjoying the easy flow and no lines of the Stampin’ Blends. I used pretty much all of the colors in the three pieces. Well, maybe not the browns.
After I finished coloring and decided to do a regular A2 card and not a 4X4, I chose a simple but special sentiment to go with my flowers. The sentiment is from the You’re Inspiring stamp set. It is focused towards Easter, but I do believe the sentiments are very special indeed. So after I stamped it and debated on doing something additional, I looked at it, and said “no”.
I mentioned that I did three pieces. Here are the others. I will make cards with them later. What I wanted to show you is the background for each. The two colored pieces are sort of hard to tell apart, but hopefully you can see the difference in the backgrounds. The far right is the Light Pool Party, middle is Dark Pool Party, and the card is Light Bermuda Bay. I think they look like wallpaper or gift wrap. Wouldn’t they make a great gift for someone? Hhhmmm…
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you like this card. I would appreciate hearing your comments. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. I hope you have an awesome day!

Here is another of my cards that are inspired by my cleaning out my craft room. I have a Love/Hate relationship going on with it right now!! I am enjoying looking through the old cards. Today’s idea came from a gift tag and I scaled it down to fit the Everyday Label Punch.
A Good Day, 145873
And here is the little insert :
A Good Day, 145873
When I was trying to resize the little envelope to fit the Everyday Label Punch, I realized I need to challenge myself in math more often. Oh My!!! It took quite a bit longer than was necessary. In the long run, I believe the time was well spent. I am happy with how this card came out.
The color inspiration was the Tutti-Fruitti 6 X 6 DSP. Although I used Pacific Point instead of Night of Navy, the strawberry DSP was my inspiration. The little ice cream cone on the note is (at least in my mind) strawberry ice cream. HaHa!
MEASUREMENTS:
Base card is 11 X 4 1/4 scored and folded in half
The strips of Pacific Point are 1/4 X 5 1/2 each
The DSP is 3 X 5 1/2
The envelope is 5 X 2 3/4, score at 1/2″ down each long side, and at 2 3/8 across the center.
Fold and burnish all the lines.
When folded in half, one side is longer than the other. Cut each 1/2 side scores off of the longer end.
Miter the corners on the 1/2 sides that are left
Use the 1/2″ circle punch to make the little half notch for easier tag removal
Add Fast Fuze on the sides. Place the punched piece inside as you close so that you have easy sliding room.
Use the hand held 1/8″ punch to punch a hole in the end of the tag and add the desired ribbon.
Thank you very much for visiting today! I hope you enjoyed this little card. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

The blog title says it perfectly!! Why else would we send someone a card than to “Hope your day is wonderful”. This is another great sentiment from the A Mother’s Flair stamp set.
A Mother’s Flair, 145905
I hope you didn’t do a double take and think this is the same card I posted last Thursday. It is very similar and actually has the leftover parts I played with on that card. I love utilizing pieces that did not fit exactly on one card into another card where they work perfectly.
When you look at these colors together, they do not seem to work all that well. But when the Designer Series Paper has all of those colors in it, then it does. They go from “No Way!” to “Oh , that is cute”.
I have been boxing up part of my craft space to put in a new desk. In doing so, I failed to make a few cards ahead of time. Oops!!! That is why today’s post is a little late. Now I have to get back to it and clean up the rest so I can make cards for the rest of the week. There is also an InKing Royalty Blog Hop on Wednesday. Stay tuned for that because they are always fun and full of awesome ideas!
I realized during my boxing up that I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff!!! But I did get my new desk up and now have to put that section back together and then try to clean out the rest. I have a ton of craft supplies to donate to a Special Needs business near me.
Thank you so much for visiting with me tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed this sort of “Take Two” card using the same products. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
