I have tried the Brusho Crystal Colour a couple of times (And yes that is how it is spelled in the catalog) but this is the first time I was fairly happy with the results. I used the great Beautiful Day stamp set, which is on the same page in the Occasions Catalog (page26). All I used with the two was an Aqua Painter and a spritzer
.
Beautiful Day, 145915
I stamped and embossed the butterfly first. I then spritzed the paper with water and sprinkled two of the Brusho colors. This is something that you just have to try. It is a fine line, at least for me, with not enough water or too much water. I did get it to where I liked it and then took a fairly dry Aqua Painter to “paint” the butterfly wings.
My banner blue dot was a pleasant surprise. I used the White Accents. They come in a variety of sizes on one sheet. And I colored it with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. It only took a minute to dry and I am in love with it! I tried the Stampin’ Write Marker and it would not stick to the glossy surface. So skip that step and go straight to the Stampin’ Blends.
Public Service Announcement: Sort of 🙂
We are in the final couple of weeks of Sale-A-Bration. With that I wanted to let you know a great tip. The title of my post is a bit misleading! I am NOT Awesomely Artistic. I wish!!! But it is the name of the stamp set I used today. It is an oldy but goody. It features great stamps for a variety of background and collage type cards. Here is how I used it.
Awesomely Artistic, 139950
This is another of my quick and easy card. My intent is for it to look like a wreath. I am not sure it made that, but I still like it. It was stamped by punching a piece of copy paper with the 2 1/4″ circle punch. I temporarily adhered it to the center of the card. Then it was just a mater of stamping around.
The center is the sentiment from the Fabulous Host Rewards Set – Yay You! I love this sentiment. It will be in my keeper stamp box. The ones that you just cannot get rid of. The butterfly is from Awesomely Artistic as well, and was for the added color and dimension.
Thank you so much for visiting today. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post. I hope you have an Awesome Weekend! Please stop back here on Monday for a new project.

I have another simple card today. There are so many beautiful Designer Series Papers in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs. I chose one to color with the Stampin’ Blends. It is quite relaxing to color and the bonus is to then make a sweet card from your efforts to share.
Heartfelt Blooms, 147202
I have a little different color combination on this card. I used Calypso Coral and Island Indigo. The Island Indigo pairs wonderfully with the Calypso Coral and I wanted something other than Old Olive from the stems. Just a change of pace was what I was feeling, with the added bonus that it emphasizes the dragonfly more.
The gorgeous ribbon is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items. Thee is a three pack of shimmery ribbon. It is all beautiful. Remember that we are heading into the last month of SAB !!
This could not be an easier card to make. I colored, layered, added a ribbon and sentiment, finished!
Thank you for visiting today. I very much appreciate you checking out my cards. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

I have the matching partner to the Tutti Frutti Pinapple card from last week for you today. These are just so darn, quick, easy, and most of all they are super cute!
Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, 147242
Between the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack and the matching Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, there was nothing to do but add a sentiment. Of course the sentiment is from the stamp set Fruit Basket! I have made up a couple of gifts from these products. They are just perfect. And to top it off, they are full size cards and envelopes. So no problem in mailing them. Easy Peasy!!!
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will give these products a second look. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

One of the fabulous Sale-A-Bration sets is the Happy Wishes stamp set. With a qualifying order of either $40.00 or $100.00 these items are FREE. Yes, this set is with a $100.00 order, but it is so very worth it. This set has almost any sentiment you would want and they are done in beautiful fonts. I went with the simple “Be Happy” sentiments. This is my new mantra. Don’t sweat the little stuff, just be happy!
Happy Wishes, SAB, 147227
Do you recognize the card stock beneath the sentiment? That is really a trick question!! Sorry about that 🙂 I used the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack. This pack is also a Sale-A-Bration item that you can get at no cost with a qualifying order. These cards are for way more than just the memory pages. The cards are double sided with great quotes/sentiments, super DSP type designs and partial cards like the one I chose to use. And they come in two different sizes.
For the card I chose to use, it already has the flower design and thin green stripe below the white open area. The Happy Wishes sentiment fit perfectly in the open area. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the flowers with the Stampin’ Blends. And that is it. A little layering and complete. I really love a super quick card.
Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you will take a second look at a both this stamp set and the Memories and More Card Pack. They are both a win/win. I have listed the measurements for my card and the supplies are at the bottom of the page.
I would love to help you earn these FREE items during SAB. Please contact me and let’s discuss your wish list!

Today I have a card that ended up pretty darn cute. But Oh My! It was ugly in between ! I was trying the Brusho powder and started out okay, made a mess, regrouped, and ended up back in the pretty cute category. I will let you decide if it is okay now 🙂
Yay You, 145946
What do you think? My original plan was an embossed butterfly with the surrounding area having the flecks of Brusho. That turned into a quick mess. Thankfully I had already embossed the butterfly. So I just began coloring it in. It is a little darker than intended, but it works. And after being cut out, it looks totally better than before. I definitely need more time with the Brusho powders.
This sentiment is the star of the card. I love that statement and feel I should send it to several people on a regular basis who inspire me everyday!! It is from the Occasions Catalog Host set, which is usually overlooked. Now I would place a qualifying order, or have a party, specifically to get that sentiment! If you feel the same way, please give me a call and lets plan something!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I very much appreciate you visiting and love to read your comments. I hope you have an awesome day!
