When looking through the stamp sets for a birthday idea for a stamping friend, I found the perfect set – or sets! What is better than It Starts With Art and Crafting Forever. A win / win.
This card does not scream “Birthday” so it could be for any occasion needed for a crafting or stamping friend. I was thrilled with how the two stamp sets paired so well together. I may have even gone a bit overboard on all the cuteness.
I used the It Starts With Art Bundle (stamps and dies), along with stamps from Crafting Forever. I used the Button Embossing Folder as the background. The embossed and die cut button is from the bundle and has a bow from Baker’s Twine as the string. The ribbon looking strip across the bottom is from the bundle as well.
Before I go, I wanted to give you my thoughts on the New Paper Cutter. I LOVE IT!!!! And I am not just saying that because I want you to purchase it when it becomes available to customers. The cutting blades are awesome. They are very sharp and require no pressure when sliding the blade. I have had to work on that part. The only thing to get used to is the bar itself. It locks into place when it is closed. I had to play with it a bit to figure out how to easily open it. But I think it gets easier the more used and as I get used to the proper way to open it.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are having a good start to your week. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.

I have taken a break from the different holiday cards and gone back to the Annual Catalog again. I am playing with the Sailing Home and the High Tide stamp sets. They both work wonderfully together.
I paired the Sailing Home stamp set lighthouse and birds with the light from the High Tide stamp set. They are stamped in Gray Granite and Smoky Slate with Daffodil Delight as the Light. To enhance the simple stamps, I layered the image on the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
The sentiment is from the Waterfront stamp set. I wanted something simple and the “friend” fit the bill perfectly. It is layered using the Layering Circles Dies and tied on with the Night of Navy and Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will give this layout a try. It is a quick and easy one that would be very easy to make multiples of, or to dress up with a few more embellishments.

I have shared several cards using the Gather Together Bundle. I think it is a perfect Fall, and Thanksgiving set. So I have it again today for a color challenge.
My card was too dark, so I tried lightening it so you could see the sparkle and the detail of the background. From here it looks out of sorts. I apologize!! These Iphone updates are killing my picture production.
I paired Blackberry Bliss with Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake for the color challenge. I was immediately impressed with how well the Blackberry Bliss blended with the lighter colors instead of overpowering. To reward it for being so nice, I made it the focal point with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.
The leaves are cut using the dies from the Gather Together Bundle. They are amazing!! They emboss and cut at the same time. I love a tool that multi-tasks for me. To give a bit of shimmer, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to each of the leaves.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and it is cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. That piece is finished off with just a little bow tied from the Nature’s Twine bundle of twine in Blackberry Bliss as well.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for one final project for the week. I am still trying to get the photo adjustments working!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPOOKY. With Halloween just around the corner, we are excited to share our spooky, fun projects with our neighbors, coworkers and family – and we’re excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
The title of the Hop is also the title of my card. That said, I do not do SCARY or SPOOKY!! In my old age, I prefer cute and funny. Do Not expect to be scared from my card. I hope you will smile at the cuteness of this little fellow.
I hope you are not afraid of Black Cats! I love them and have had at least one for over 30 years. Not the same one!! I stamped this guy from the Nine Lives stamp set in Versamark Ink on Basic Black card stock and embossed using the Shimmer Black Glitter.
The pumpkins are from the Harvest Hellos Bundle. They are stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Mango Melody card stock. The faces are stamped in Cajun Craze with some Clear Wink of Stella to give some shimmer.
I paired two of the sheets of DSP from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Spooktacular stamp set and is die cut using the matching dies in the Bundle. I added some of the Googly Eyes for the “O” in the Spooky. I have some of the moon shimmer showing from beneath the sentiment. I added a moon, but then the sentiment covered most of it. It is not a booboo , just miscalculation ! I had to add a touch more shimmer and shine, so I added the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and tied a simple knot.
I have the measurements after the line up if you are looking for them.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Sheryl Abernathy at Elegant Sentiments. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
All of the products used are at the bottom of the post.

I hope you are looking at the Christmas Rose Suite of products that Stampin’ Up! has recently introduced. Oh My!! It is all beautifu! I splurged and got it all, which I usually do not do on the limited releases. I will say, I was very pleased when it all arrived. I cannot say enough about the colors. The gold glitter dots and gold ribbon are the icing on the cake for me. I even ordered the bracelet as well. It is gorgeous. It has a little Stampin’ Up! tag along with the rose tag. It is adorable.
Today’s card is sharing a bit of the Christmas Rose paired with some other SU products. As I have said before, that is one of the reasons I love SU. The ability to mix and match is wonderful.
The Christmas Time Is Here Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! It has gold touches throughout. I chose the Poppy Parade to pull from it, as well as the Mossy Meadow. The twine is the Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo pack.
The die cut behind the sentiment is from the Roses Dies, part of this suite of products. It is so pretty. The sentiment is from the Inspiring Iris stamp set. I loved this sentiment from the first time I read it in the catalog. It is so sweet and I am blessed to have a couple of people in my life this sentiment is perfect for. I gave this card to one of those ladies. The sentiment is punched with the Timeless Label Punch and then layered on the tags from the Frosted Bouquet Dies. The tag is a layer of Gold Foil and Poppy Parade. The sentiment is stamped in the Gold Metallic Ink.
I have a link to the Christmas Rose Suite of products under the UPDATES at the end of this post. Please take a look at the array of products. You can order the entire suite, the stamp and dies, or any mix of the items.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for another InKing Royalty Blog Hop! You will love the great Halloween type projects.

I am playing along with the FabFri174 challenge for today’s card. It is a color combination that is right up my alley.
I used the Cup of Christmas Bundle for a non-Christmas card. I hope you look at stamp sets the same way. What else can I do that extends the life / usefulness of a stamp set.
Here is the Challenge icon:
Orange is one of my most favorite colors! So when I saw the color combination I knew I had to play along. It reminds me of the 60’s and 70’s and the large flowers that were on EVERYTHING! I think I had jeans, tops, even a trash can in my room with the bright flowers.
For the background I decided to give detail to the Melon Mambo and added the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder. I believe it fit perfectly. The tag is from the Christmas dies . The sentiment fit perfectly and it is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
I added a few of the epoxy drops to the background to give a little extra sparkle. The ribbon holding the tag is actually Grapefruit Grove, but it works well with the Orange, or in my case, Pumpkin Pie. The “steam” from the cups is from the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set.
MEASUREMENTS:
5 1/2 X 8 1/2
5 3/8 X 4 1/8
5 1/4 X 4
2 5/8 X 4
2 1/2 X 4
2 3/8 X 4
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will come back tomorrow for another new project. I will be sharing a card using the Christmas Rose Bundle. I love the entire bundle, but it is great that you can purchase the pieces that you like and not the entire bundle if you do not want it all. I did……and I LOVE the bracelet!!

The beautiful Purple Posy Ink is available to order now and I am celebrating that a card to showcase it.. I am pairing it with a few random pieces, that being from Stampin’ Up!, all work perfectly together.
The star of the show is the beautiful Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. But it is closing followed by the Purple Posy Card Stock and Ink. I love the softness of the color. The background of the Purple Posy card stock really pulls the color from the DSP as well.
I stamped the Floral Essence flower stamp twice using the Purple Posy Ink and punch it out with the Perennial Punch. They are layered together using a glue dot. The leaves are punched from Mossy Meadow card stock using the Leaf Punch.
The sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set. I added the small flower from the Floral Essence set to tie everything together. The punch I used is the Story Label Punch.
This would be a great card to make multiples of. With a bit of stamping and the great punches, it would be easy to have an assembly line going on this card.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you will return on Monday for another new project.

I don’t have any little ones to share Halloween with, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to make cards and treat holders. Today I am using one of the really flexible stamp sets for a Halloween card.
The stamp set Birds of A Feather are a group of funny birds that covers most of the Fall and Winter Holidays. I love it! For this card, I paired it with the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The paper is a bit more spooky than the Trick or Treating duck.
The sentiment on the cute little tag is from the same set. The tag itself is from the Mini Curvy Keepsake dies. I embossed the sentiment with the Shimmer Black Embossing Powder to give it a little more shine and bling. It is paired with the lovely Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon. The ribbon was a carryover from last year, and I use it all the time. Black and glitter are like the perfect LBD!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you like this not spooky Halloween card.

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “My Favorite Season” – showcasing our favorite stamps and supplies for our holiday project. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My Favorite Season is Christmas. It has been since I was a child and maybe even increased since then. I even collect Santa Claus anythings! My biggest difficulty was choosing between two stamp sets. I went with #Elfie because of the versatility of the set.
I made the card and added a matching gift tag as an extra. I love all of the stamps in the #Elfie Stamp Set. They are just adorable. Here is a view of just the card alone.
I used the Toile Tiding Designer Series Paper as my backdrop. I stamped the Elf in Memento Tuxedo Ink an colored with the Stampin’ Blends.
I always like to add ribbon but in this instance it just did not seem quite enough. I tried a couple of things and then decided to add a few of the little gift boxes. I stamped and colored them the same way. They are fussy cut, but are very simple to do.
While I was adding the gifts to the card, I thought the gift tag required one as well. The gift tag is punched using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. I punched both pieces at the same time. To give the border across the top, I made the Vanilla part 1/8″ shorter. I used temporary adhesive with the two pieces flush at the bottom for punching. After punching them, I slid the Vanilla up to the appropriate place of the layering. The hole is still lined up, but just a bit low on the front, and plenty large enough to run the Curly Red Ribbon through.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I greatly appreciate it and hope you like my #Elfie projects. I have the measurements listed below the Pals Blog Line-Up.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 13th when we showcase projects with layers of DSP and embellishments for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun!
