Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPOOKY. With Halloween just around the corner, we are excited to share our spooky, fun projects with our neighbors, coworkers and family – and we’re excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
The title of the Hop is also the title of my card. That said, I do not do SCARY or SPOOKY!! In my old age, I prefer cute and funny. Do Not expect to be scared from my card. I hope you will smile at the cuteness of this little fellow.
I hope you are not afraid of Black Cats! I love them and have had at least one for over 30 years. Not the same one!! I stamped this guy from the Nine Lives stamp set in Versamark Ink on Basic Black card stock and embossed using the Shimmer Black Glitter.
The pumpkins are from the Harvest Hellos Bundle. They are stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Mango Melody card stock. The faces are stamped in Cajun Craze with some Clear Wink of Stella to give some shimmer.
I paired two of the sheets of DSP from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Spooktacular stamp set and is die cut using the matching dies in the Bundle. I added some of the Googly Eyes for the “O” in the Spooky. I have some of the moon shimmer showing from beneath the sentiment. I added a moon, but then the sentiment covered most of it. It is not a booboo , just miscalculation ! I had to add a touch more shimmer and shine, so I added the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and tied a simple knot.
I have the measurements after the line up if you are looking for them.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Sheryl Abernathy at Elegant Sentiments. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

SUPPLIES:
What a cute card! I love all the textures and extra touches – the embossing on the cat and the googly eyes on your sentiment.
Jackie – Your card is so cute with just the right touch of spooky. Your glittery cat is wonderful! Love it!
Jackie – I always enjoy seeing your crafts, and this card is no exception. I love it. The cat punch is one of my favorites, and I love how your cat is sitting on top of a pumpkin. The black-on-black shimmery embossing is a great touch, and the of course, the googly eyes! Great card, as always. Thanks for sharing it.
Super cute card!! I love that you’ve included two of the DSP patterns – what a great way to add more texture to your card. Kelly x
Jackie this is so adorable. This is what Halloween should be.
Cute, cute, cute! I love the double pumpkins and especially the googly eyes for the two “o” in the sentiment.
Love those google eyes on Spooky. So cute on this card.
So cute, Jackie! I love the google eyes on the sentiment!
How clever to add the fun googly eyes to spooky! Perfect ribbon embellie!
