The new Painted Poppies Bundle Suite of products is Amazing!!! There are actually two bundles of products that coordinate perfectly together. The Painted Poppies and the Peaceful Moments Bundles. They are both on page 25 of the Mini Catalog.
Today I have a simple card that uses the Painted Poppy stamp with a sweet layout to put the focal point on the one single poppy with a stem.
The background for this card is a sheet of the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies DSP. The sentiment is from the adorable stamp set Bonanza Buddies.
The flower image is stamped in Smoky Slate ink for a softer flower base and colored with Stampin’ Blends. It is then layered on Rich Razzleberry Card Stock. The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive Ink and layered on Pool Party Card Stock. I placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on each end of the sentiment so that it layers over the flower layer.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return on Monday to see more new projects. All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

I hope you have seen the new Honey Bee Bundle in the Mini Catalog. It is so cute. And it pairs with a Sale-A-Bration FREE Designer Series Paper named Golden Honey. They are perfect together and make beautiful projects. I am sharing a card I made with my Stamp Club this past Sunday. I shared the Valentine card we made Tuesday. You can see that post HERE, or go to the Gallery at the top of the page for all of my posts.
Now on to the Bee Thankful card.
When we made the card in class, I had made one ladies cards that was sick, and I changed the bee on the beehive to another die cut bee. I failed to take a photo of that one. It helps that bee to stand out a bit more.
I used Crushed Curry Ink for the beehive and the background of the sentiment. I used the Dark Daffodil Delight Blends to color the stripes on the bee. I have found that these do not bleed up next to the Memento Tuxedo Black where the Stampin’ Write Markers sometimes do bleed a bit of the black.
I used punches for the beehive background and the sentiment layers. The gold dots are leftover from the Christmastime Suite that was a special release in November. I love the Gold Dots!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you see the cuteness, and the value, of combining these great products. The Honey Bee Bundle is 41.25. If you add Crushed Curry Card Stock for 8.75, you are at exactly 50.00. You then can choose the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration FREE! All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the page and can be added to your cart with a simple click. And if your order is below $150.00 , please use the host code I have just below.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me. I would love to speak with you and help in any way. I hope you will return tomorrow to see the third card from my January Stamp Club.

I have been trying to figure out a project using the Best Dressed Suite of products. When I saw the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #222 the other day, I looked at the the Designer Series Paper, Best Dressed, and had the card in my head. Sometimes those ideas do not end up as I see them in my head, but this one did!
Here is the sketch my card is based on.
If you have not looked through this gorgeous DSP, I hope you will check it out in the catalog. It is on page 55 of the Mini Catalog. The colors are so vibrant. I have used both sides of one of the sheets of paper on this card.
The die cut I have the sentiment in is the perfume bottle label. Stampin’ Up! planned wonderfully and had a couple of the sentiments fit inside it. I added the single flower, which also has a matching die, for some dimension.
Measurements:
card base is 4 1/4 X 11
Whisper White layer is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
Bottom DSP layer is 2 1/4 X 4 1/8
Top DSP layer is 3 3/4 X 4
The price for the Dressed To Impress Bundle is 47.50. With a package of Stampin’ Dimensionals, you are a little over the 50.00 needed for a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. Enjoy these great products and get another one FREE!
I love all of the coordinating stamps and dies. Have you seen the flyers regarding some new dies that will be available in February? I have them showing just below my host code. They match some of the new stamp sets. WOOHOO!! And if you do not have the new catalogs and do not currently have a Demonstrator, please reach out to me. I will be happy to get the catalogs to you.
Thank you for stopping in today. I have all of the supplies I used at the bottom of the page.

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! We’re showcasing our favorite new products from 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Happy New Year stampers! I am starting the new year with a Celebration cake. Who doesn’t love cake? I tried to keep the card fairly simple and something you would all want to use again and again when a cake is needed.
My celebration cake is created with the Happy Birthday To You Sale-A-Bration stamp set. When I first saw this cake, I thought it would be beautiful for showers and weddings. I never seem to have that kind of set on hand. But after playing it with and going for the more simple approach, I believe it can be used as any celebration that requires cake. Who wouldn’t want all of those roses to eat?? 🙂
It does not show well in the photo but the flowers have Wink Of Stella on the petals. I stamped the cake and sentiment in Smoky Slate Ink. I did not want a dark cake. I was planning on a soft look with all the colors.
I used a variety of the Stampin’ Blends to color the cake and flowers. I outlined the cake definition lines and shaded the cake stand. I debated on fussy cutting a flower and layering it on the cake. But my plan all along was a pretty card that would not be too time consuming to make. I look at a lot of the stamps and make my choices based on that. All of the colors are listed in the supply list at the bottom of the page.
The ribbon is a member of the Parisian Blossoms Suite. The suite is one of the “I want it all” suites of products. It is the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon. I chose to just frame with the ribbon instead of overpowering the cake with a bow.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 12th, for our Art From The Heart blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects made from the heart for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun!
Thank you for stopping in while on the hop. I would love to hear from you.

The way time flies it seems, I decided I should get with Valentine Cards. It will be here before we know it. And I am enjoying the two heart stamp sets in the new Mini Catalog that just debuted. The matching heart punch pack with scalloped and straight cut hearts are fabulous. Here is a look at a quick and easy Valentine card.
The colors in the gorgeous DSP are Flirty Flamingo and Real Red. I went with the Flirty Flamingo as a backdrop and focal point on the heart. I also used the new Heart Doilies behind the Flamingo heart. The doilies are adorable and come in both colors also. They will fit perfectly in the heart shaped tins in the suite of products. I will share a project with those soon.
I stamped the sentiment inside the heart and then punched it from the DSP using the scalloped heart punch. I layered it onto the doily heart and raised them with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The strip of card stock was just in place of a ribbon as something to ground the heart. This is a quick and easy trick when you may not have a matching ribbon or just want to use a scrap of DSP or card stock.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will stop back tomorrow for another new project. All of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.
ONE NEW PROMOTION: A sneak Peek of some new products that are debuting in February. They are dies that match some of the Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog stamps. Here are the flyers:

The list below is the CARRYOVER List. Items from the Holiday Catalog that will carry over to the 2020 Holiday Catalog. They will not be orderable between the two catalogs however.
I have made a quick “Hello” card with a bit of fussy cutting. It must have been intuition, because Stampin’ Up! has some new release dies coming out next month. And what I fussy cut for you today will soon have dies that take care of that. I say “WOOHOO”!!!
I have always loved just simple collage type cards with a short sentiment. They make great quick and easy cards. With the fussy cutting, or die cutting, it takes it up a bit from “quick” but still is easy to reproduce.
I CASEd this from the mini pizza box in the Mini Catalog 2020. You never know where you will get ideas. The background leaf is stamped directly onto the card layer. The left leaf is directly stamped and then the right one I moistened it with my breath and stamped again. (That is a nice way of saying that I huffed on it. that is the verbage from when I first started stamping)
The feathers and flower are stamped on scrap paper and cut out. I was not too careful in my cutting. The sentiment is from another new stamp set in the Mini Catalog. It is the Timeless Tulip. It has simple sentiments, which I adore.
I added an extra layer to this card just to give some additional oomph. (I believe that is a word!) The measurements are: 5 1/2 X 8 1/2, 5 3/8 X 4 1/8, 5 1/4 X 4, and 4 3/4 X 3 1/2
I have listed all of the colors I used and other products at the bottom of the post in the Supply List. I have also added the flyer for the new dies that will debut in February. You get the sneak Peek. Thank You so much for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.

Have you placed an order yet today? The new Mini Catalog 2020 goes live today, as does the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. I believe this Mini Catalog is a keeper. I have preordered most of the sets already. If you do not have a current demonstrator and need a catalog or have any questions, please contact me. I would love to assist you!
I played with the new Parisian Beauty Bundle today. I don’t know why I have waited. I love the entire suite of products. The designer series paper is some of the prettiest I remember. And we have tons of beautiful paper. Yes, I say how much I love products regularly, but it is true. I do love Stampin’ Up! products and it seems they get better and better.
I really hated to cover up this gorgeous paper. It is the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series paper. But the Eiffel Tower needed its space , so I did what needed to be done. 🙂 It doesn’t show very well in the photo, but I stamped the tower with Petal Pink first. The die cut tower is then layered over the stamped image and raised with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I did have to trim them a bit to fit.
To finish the sentiment, that beautiful “Merci”, I added a rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestones. It matched perfectly. I will add that even with all of the holes in the tower it was not difficult at all to get the little pieces out. Most simply fell out. The news dies seem to be much sharper in regard to making the tiny cuts.
Measurements:
4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2 and folded
4 1/8 X 5 3/8
4 X 5 1/4
3 1/8 X 5 1/4
3 X 5 1/8
Thank you for stopping in today. Please return on Monday for another new project. Also this coming Wednesday is the first of the Pals Blog Hops of 2020.

I have a candy bar holder to share with you. This can easily be adapted to any size candy bar. I found these large Hershey candy bars on clearance at my local grocery store.
You can see this is a fairly large candy bar. I started with an idea from a pull out type holder I had received at a swap last year. The bottom on that one was closed just by pressing together with Tear & Tape. This is a hefty bar of chocolate, and I didn’t believe that would be sturdy enough. So I went with a more regular box closure. I did keep the pull out idea though.
Here is a picture of the pulled out candy bar.
The Witty-cisms stamp set, new in the Mini Catalog 2020, was a must have for me. I love the cute stamps and sentiments. The strawberry and sentiment are one stamp and I stamped it three times to get the extra strawberries for decoration.
I die cut the tags using the Bonaza Die set tag. I cut one from Thick Whisper White and one from Cherry Cobbler. You could also use one of the tag punches from SU if you prefer.
The background paper was a leftover piece of Come To Gather DSP. The ribbon is on the retiring list as well.
The measurements are as follows:
7 1/2 X 8 card stock
On 7 1/2 side, score at 1/2″, then rotate paper counter-clockwise
On the 8 side, with 1/2 score at the bottom, score at 3, 3 1/2, 6 1/2, 7
Fold and burnish on all the score lines
The 1/2″ score line is the bottom. Cut off the small right edge piece next to the 7″ score line
Cut up the scores up to the 1/2 ” mark. taper the small ones as tabs
Place Tear & Tape along the inside of the larger outside section as well as the bottom adjacent to it
Place Tear & Tape on the back of each tab.
Lay the paper down and fold the small section over, remeove the T&T from the large section and when folded over it should line up perfectly.
remove the T&T from the tabs and the bottom section. Square up the box, fold in the tabs, the flap without T&T and then the one with tape. once aligned stand it up on the table and use a ruler to go down and press on that bottom flap.
Use a hand held punch to center a hole through both layers near the top.
It took 17 ” of ribbon for this. So it is a good way to use up some retired ribbon. Run the ribbon from one side, through the other side and even it out. Place the candy bar into the top of the box and push down while trying to keep the ribbon even on each side. You should have enough ribbon left to tie a nice bow at the top.
Thank you for looking in today. I hope this gives you ideas for dressing up a candy bar. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you.

I am sharing the Painted Poppy Bundle today. I saw it at Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Atlanta last month, and I have seen other demonstrators’ cards. Playing with it myself was still amazing! The stamps and dies, as always, are awesome.
Poppies are very popular this year. I have been seeing them everywhere. I was looking at the little pocket calendars at Dollar Tree the other day and there were a couple with different poppy designs.
The border across the bottom is only half that size. I stamped it twice. For the large poppies, I die cut the solid flowers usig the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper. The coordinating color is Poppy Parade (wonder if that was planned a while back/) so of course my outlines are in that color.
The leaf is cut from Mossy Meadow, another coordinating color for the DSP. I secured it under the large flower and left the top part free to move around. The sentiment is from another new stamp set, Positive Thoughts. All of the sentiments are wonderful. I used Old Olive card stock as the dividing layer as well as the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend for the border flower stems. I liked the lighter color to pair with the Poppy Parade.
Thank you for stopping by today. I have a candy treat to share tomorrow.

I am sharing a mix of products today for a fond farewell to one of the cutest stamp sets. It is the Birds of a Feather stamp set. I think these birds are adorable and have used them for several occasions cards as well as some RAK cards during thanksgiving.
I paired this adorable rooster with a few new products for a sweet little valentine card. The Designer Series Paper is the new From My Heart DSP. The punched out heart is from the same DSP pack and is punched using the ruffled Heart from the Hearth Punch Pack. The Ruffled Heart fits the heart in the paper perfectly, and the plain heart matches a plain heart as well. I then used a stamp from the Birds of A Feather stamp set to place in the center of the heart.
The rooster is cut out using another new product. It is the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I LOVE these unusual shapes. The dies also have several rectangular shapes as well. I grounded the chicken and heart with the Real Red Ruched Ribbon. I also added a Real Red Glitter dot from the Toile Tidings Enamel Dots for the “O” in the Love.
I have paired products that are retiring from the Holiday Catalog with products that are debuting in the Mini Catalog 2020 soon. I love sharing how well all of the SU products pair together.
The retiring products are the Birds of A Feather Stamp set, the Real Red Ruched Ribbon, and the Toil Tiding Enamel Dots. So if you like these items please click on them in the supply list and get them ordered. My new supply list allows you to click on an item and it will add it to your cart automatically. How cool is that???
Thank you for stopping in today. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.
