Today’s card is back to showcasing a retiring set. Although this set and the matching punch will be sticking around my house. This set is perfect for Military, Law Enforcement and especially a super Father’s Day card.
My Hero , 141957
I paired this lovely stamp with the True Gentleman DSP. It is another beautiful Designer Series Paper that is super for use in all kinds of projects. It is layered on Chocolate Chip. The card base is Thick Very Vanilla with a layer of Crumb Cake on top. And do not forget this perfect badge punch. Unfortunately is is retiring as well, so get it while you can.
The badge also gives you a bit of a sneak peek at a couple of new colors. The gold is Mango Melody and the blue is Blueberry Bushel. Both are gorgeous !!
Thank you for visiting today. I very much appreciate your taking time to stop by. All of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.
Another Paper Pumpkin Special: The March PP was so popular due to the special gift that it sold out. So Stampin’ Up! has offered a great deal to replace that. New Subscribers who sign up before April 10, will receive April and May for half price. So 2 months for the price of 1. A great deal. Use my link HERE, and enter the code: SAVEFIFTY0418
It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
Today’s card is a 3 X 3 Gift Tag with the cutest little critter and fold around. The fold is from my very sweet friend Julie DiMatteo from The Paper Pixie. She did both the 3 X 3 and a box it fits into. You can see her wonderful video HERE. She explains projects wonderfully and it would be a mistake for me to try to do better!!
I needed a baby card and ended up with a card and a gift tag all in one. Plus it was so much fun to make that I made several of the Napkin ‘folds using different DSP.
A Little Wild, 144344
I truly adore the cute animal tags in the A Little Wild set and matching dies. I have used them several times as just individual animals, and am really thrilled with the great tag it makes. Who knew? A tag works as a tag!!! Silly me!!
And here is the Napkin Fold part. It is very easy, really cute, and as a classic Julie DiMatteo project, it is much easier than it looks!!
.
The inside sentiment and little flower are from the A Little Wild stamp set as well. I really love the idea of this being a tag and card. It is a great way to add a little something extra with the fold. As I said earlier, I got carried away making these folds and now have several ready to be made into cards for easy Thank You type hand outs.
Thank you for stopping by today. I greatly appreciate you visiting and your comments. The animal tags are carrying over into the new catalog. But alas, the DSP is retiring. Now is the perfect time to grab up the retiring DSP while it is still available and a bit discounted.
All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! We are grinning from ear-to-ear with excitement over all the amazing, new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog – and you’re going to love what we are sharing today. Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects that offer sneak peeks at new products from the upcoming catalog. What fun! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My Top of the List Favorite from the new Catalog is the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. Actually, it and all that is in that Suite of products! From the banner above, it would appear that Brian King loves this paper as well!! My card for today focuses on quite a few of the products, but especially the DSP.
Love What You Do, 148042
As I said above, I have used quite a few products from this AWESOME Suite. In doing so, I have a lot more texture than I normally do. Of course the star is the Designer Series Paper. As an unexpected touch, I let it be the main focal point and added a little extra with different ribbons. (All of the supplies are listed at the very bottom of the post.)
The sentiment is part of a “Must Have” stamp set as well. It is Love What You Do and has beautiful flowers, backgrounds, and sentiments. I know I say it is all a Must Have, but this catalog is really over the top as far as I am concerned and I do want it all!
One other unexpected item on my card is the lighter base color, which is Petal Pink. It is an Oh My! color. I think it has a touch of light peach to the pink. Whatever it may have, it is gorgeous. And it pairs well with other colors both bold and bright.
Thank you for stopping by my page on the Blog Hop. I very much appreciate it and love to read your comments.
I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Deb Cozzone . There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:

It seems it was just graduation time a short while ago and here it is again. Today’s card is perfect for a graduate or a teacher. This is one of the new Host Rewards Stamp sets in the upcoming catalog. It is my favorite of those sets.
Hand Delivered, 146808
Isn’t that stack of books so appropriate for a graduate? I love it! I paired the stack with the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I am a sucker for polka dots and this pattern with all the great colors has been a favorite go to for me. I paired it with the crumb cake background and Soft Sky layers.
In case you didn’t really notice, this is a pull out type card. It is hard to see my pull tab on the light background. I designed it so that you could add a gift card on the inside if you wish. Here is a picture of the pull out part.
This is a simple but cute card and is very easy to adapt to any stamp set or occasion. Thank you for visiting to day. I hope you will return tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop.
Crumb Cake base is 4 1/4 X 11 scored and folded in half (use a circle punch to make the pull hole in the front and back) Place Tear N Tape on each side of the fold with only the end open. But do not adhere until you have the insert prepared. Place the insert inside when you adhere to make a better fit!
DSP is 4 X 5 1/4, with a pull hole cut also
Soft Sky under lady is 2 X 4 1/2
Whisper White is 1 7/8 X 4 3/8
Soft Sky sentiment is 1 3/16 X 2 3/16
Whisper White is 2 1/16 X 1 1/16
Inside pieces are: Pacific Point:3 1/2 X 5 1/4, Whisper White: 3 X 5
Tab is punched from Soft Sky scrap. Adhere tab to Pacific Point only, then cover with the Whisper White layer.

I have spent the weekend rearranging my craft space and incorporating the NEW Stampin’ Up! products from my pre-order. Oh My!! I am in trouble because I want it all. I have added a new banner at the bottom of the narrative portion of this post. It is the NEW Share What You Love Suite of products. I may have said it, or thought it before, but this is my all time favorite suite that SU has ever created. By clicking on that picture you will go to my online store and can view all of the products. There are three different tiers of products you can order, as well as some Ala Carte items. You get to get a touch of the Demonstrator Perk of ordering before the catalog is live! But I hope you will check out my card first……..
Abstract Impressions, 147513
The stamp set I used is Abstract Impressions, and it is a beautiful Must Have stamp set. But the star of this card is the gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. This flower pattern is probably my favorite of the pack. Then when I was looking for a color to back the sentiment layer with, I noticed the other side of this sheet and new it was perfect. I really like the double sided DSP SU always has!
The colors in the DSP are beautiful . If you are wondering about the base color of the card. It is the new Petal Pink. Another winner in the new Color Revamp. It is , at least to me, a more soft peachy pink look. I believe it pairs wonderfully with the returned Mint Macaron as well.
To further show that SU is really On Trend with the new colors, I was reading the latest HGTV Magazine Friday. It is all about painting and color. All of the SU colors, especially the newer ones, are front and center in the magazine! I was so impressed and pleased.
I hope you are as excited as I am about the new catalog and all of the new products and colors. Again, if you do not currently have a SU Demonstrator , I would love to work with you. And it is always a great time to become a demonstrator. You can even add a lot of the new products to your starter kit!!
Thank you so much for visiting with me today! I hope you will return tomorrow and Wednesday is the InKing Royalty Blog Hop.

SUPPLIES: **Not all of the new products were available with snapshots. I am missing the Mint Macaron cardstock and Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad.
Sorry I am a little late this morning. I was out of town yesterday and forgot to do my post last night. But it is a cute 3 X 3 card that I think you will like. It would be perfect for a little hand out card or a pick me up for a friend.
Rooted In Nature, 146482
I just love tis sentiment. It is from the Rooted In Nature stamp set and I got it in my pre-order for the upcoming catalog. This is an awesome perk of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!! Another of my new items is the Detailed Trio Punch. It is three cornered, and has a little flower, a tag hole punch, and a corner rounder. I am so happy to have a corner rounder again besides using my Envelope Punch Board. Best of all is that it punches very easily. Yay!!
The other new products are the Tranquil Textures DSP. I just love beautiful coordinating colors in small designs. It makes it so easy to do multiple cards using different colors as the focal point. Stampin’ Up!’s DSP is a definite weakness of mine! And the other “New” is actually a returning item….Yes Mint Macaron is back! Woohoo!!!
To give my little tag some definition with an added layer for this little card, I used my marker technique. I take the brush tip of the Stampin’ Write Marker and hold it with the side of the brush angled against the paper. I then just run it around the entire outside edge. You get just enough color to make it stand out front he background paper with no added thickness. I hope you will give this a try sometime.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I greatly appreciate you and your comments. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
