We are about one third way through the Sale-A-Bration period. I thought I would give some extra love to some of my favorite pieces. I am focusing on the Little Ladybug stamp set.
I think the ladybugs are just so darn cute!! And the best part is the stamp set is FREE with a $300.00 order or a party that totals at least $300.00 where you are the Host. This is on top of the FREE items you can get for every $50.00 you spend. Woohoo!!
To make this card even better, I used the soon to be released coordinating Ladybug Dies. They will be released on February 4th . You can see the flyer just below the post. There are a few other coordinating dies for SAB and the Occasions Catalogs. The beginning of February is a perfect time for a party!! I hope you will give me a call and let’s set one up.
OK, on to the particulars of the card. The base is a seldom used color that fit perfectly. It is Call Me Clover and is an In Color that retires this coming June. It is a perfect Spring, Saintt. Patrick’s Day type green. I also used several SAB products for this card. The black and white DSP is the reverse of a sheet from the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper, another FREE SAB item.
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends. They were then die cut using the Ladybugs Dies. I have them early from a perk for being a Demonstrator. I raised the ladybug with dimensionals but glued down the flower.
I have a list of all of the colors of Stampin’ blends listed in the Supply List. Thank you for stopping by today.
The Ultimate Bundle is the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit. During Sale-A-Bration you get the extra value for your $99.00. If you have a wish list or are ready to place an order and it totals close to 99.00, please read this first.
There is NO OBLIGATIONS to do anything beyond ordering the kit. You pay $99.00 + tax and receive $125.00 of your choice of products + any stamp set from the annual or mini catalog (the most expensive one is the Well Said set with a $45.00 price) + the Mini Paper Cutter, a $26.50 value + the 6X6 DSP sampler pack (48 sheets of DSP) an $11.50 value + a Paper Pumpkin Kit with a value of $22.00 + FREE Shipping which is usually 10% of the order and would add another $23.00 value here. This equals over $230.00 value + business supplies added in at no cost. That is an awesome deal!! And you never have to purchase another thing. But while you are trying it out, and you have until the end of July before your trial period runs out, you are part of my Team! As well as my upline’s team. Okay about the card……. I love Fun Fold cards and found this Buckle Card on Pinterest the other day. The video I watched was by CindyLeeBeeDesigns. I did not provide instructions since she did a great video for you to checkout. You can click the link to go to her video.
I paired the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set with the Lily Impressions Designer Series paper. Both are Sale-A-Bration items. I also used the Special February Release item of Lily Pad Dies. You can see the special release flyer at the bottom of the post.
Of course I generally get my color choices out of the DSP, and that was what I did here. I mixed Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Pool Party and Pretty Peacock card stocks. I also used Flirty Flamingo for the Lily. I stamped it with Flirty Flamingo Ink and then colored the shadow parts with the Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend.
The sentiment is from a new stamp set in the Mini Catalog named Thanks for the Laughs. It is a great group of sentiments. And these fit perfectly above and below the buckle strap. To finish off the card I used the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
And here is a view of the Buckle part.
I will say I made a mistake on the buckle flap. I scored at 1/2″ instead of 1/4″. I did not think it was a big deal since the length was long enough to go through the slot. After attaching the lily though, the 1/4″ shorter length makes it a bit more difficult to get the buckle back through the slot. So keep that in mind when you try this. And I hope you will!!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope your day is as special as you are!

We are having too much rain and some flooding, but there is beauty even in the bad. That is my thought for this card. I hope you agree. I went with several different looks on this one card.
I layered several different colors along with some pieces that are die cut and others that are cut out with Paper Snips. The frame for the rain is die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I chose Blackberry Bliss from the Lilly Impressions Designer Series Paper, a FREE Sale-A-Bration item.
I stamped directly on the Lilly Impressions DSP with Memento Tuxedo Black and punched it out with the Umbrella Builder Punch. The handle is stamped on Pretty Peacock and punched with the same punch. The rain boots are stamped and fussy cut. They are then colored with Stampin’ Blends.
The background DSP is the opposite side of the DSP the umbrella is punched from. It has dark to light streaks in it. The card base is Pretty Peacock, another color from the Umbrella DSP.
Thank you for stopping by today. Tomorrow’s post will be part of the InKing Royalty Blog Hop. I hope you will check it out and hop along with us for some great projects and ideas.

The way time flies it seems, I decided I should get with Valentine Cards. It will be here before we know it. And I am enjoying the two heart stamp sets in the new Mini Catalog that just debuted. The matching heart punch pack with scalloped and straight cut hearts are fabulous. Here is a look at a quick and easy Valentine card.
The colors in the gorgeous DSP are Flirty Flamingo and Real Red. I went with the Flirty Flamingo as a backdrop and focal point on the heart. I also used the new Heart Doilies behind the Flamingo heart. The doilies are adorable and come in both colors also. They will fit perfectly in the heart shaped tins in the suite of products. I will share a project with those soon.
I stamped the sentiment inside the heart and then punched it from the DSP using the scalloped heart punch. I layered it onto the doily heart and raised them with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The strip of card stock was just in place of a ribbon as something to ground the heart. This is a quick and easy trick when you may not have a matching ribbon or just want to use a scrap of DSP or card stock.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will stop back tomorrow for another new project. All of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.
ONE NEW PROMOTION: A sneak Peek of some new products that are debuting in February. They are dies that match some of the Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog stamps. Here are the flyers:

I am sharing the Painted Poppy Bundle today. I saw it at Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Atlanta last month, and I have seen other demonstrators’ cards. Playing with it myself was still amazing! The stamps and dies, as always, are awesome.
Poppies are very popular this year. I have been seeing them everywhere. I was looking at the little pocket calendars at Dollar Tree the other day and there were a couple with different poppy designs.
The border across the bottom is only half that size. I stamped it twice. For the large poppies, I die cut the solid flowers usig the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper. The coordinating color is Poppy Parade (wonder if that was planned a while back/) so of course my outlines are in that color.
The leaf is cut from Mossy Meadow, another coordinating color for the DSP. I secured it under the large flower and left the top part free to move around. The sentiment is from another new stamp set, Positive Thoughts. All of the sentiments are wonderful. I used Old Olive card stock as the dividing layer as well as the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend for the border flower stems. I liked the lighter color to pair with the Poppy Parade.
Thank you for stopping by today. I have a candy treat to share tomorrow.

I am going to attempt to share only Fall and Thanksgiving cards this week. Christmas is almost upon us and I don’t want to skip over Thanksgiving. Although, I believe most of us have done that already.
I am thrilled with how this card came together. My “Go To” Fall designer series paper has been the Come To Gather DSP. I love every single piece in the package. And both sides of each piece! This is a print that I do not believe I have used previously.
The stamp set is the Country Home from the Annual Catalog. I was thrilled that it carried over and it pairs so well with the Gathering Leaves in the Holiday catalog. Everything except the “LOVE” is from the Country Home stamp set. I stamped and then used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color the arrangement.
The beautiful LOVE is from the So Many Stars stamp set. There is a LOVE in the Country Home set, but this one had previously caught my eye. I really adore the font of this one.
Thank you for dropping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow for another new project.
