I have another Fall card for today. Although to Give Thanks is something that could be used year round. I have used the “direct to paper” technique again to showcase this simple punched sentiment.
I really like this color combination. It is soft on the “direct to paper” technique but stands out on the card stock surrounding it. And the Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon is just a must have!! It is gorgeous and so easy to work with.
If you missed my previous “Direct To Paper Technique” card, you can see it HERE.
The sentiment is from the Label To Love set. This set has sentiments for a variety of holidays and they all fit the Everyday Punch. The punch is a bundle with the Merry Labels set, but it works with both sets. A double winner!
MEASUREMENTS:
Card base is Crushed Curry cut 8 X 4 and folded in half
Pear Pizzaz layer is 3 3/4 X 3 3/4
Glossy card stock layer is 3 1/2 X 3 1/2
The supplies I used are listed below. You can click on any item and be taken directly to my online store. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. If you do not have a current Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I would love to help you get started.
Thank you so much for visiting today! I very much appreciate your comments as well. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I seem to be on a Fall card making theme. Today’s card is from one of the most versatile stamp sets, or the entire suite, that Stampin’ Up! has. It is the Color Theory Suite and the Colorful Seasons Bundle. I love everything in this suite, but especially the bundle.
I just adore these delicate leaves from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits part of the bundle. And with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets they are a piece of cake to adhere. After I placed the leaves it seemed like I really didn’t need anything else!
I sponged the background of the leaves and then splattered the open space. I know technically you are supposed to do things in 3’s, but I only added 2 of the Enamel Shapes. I just wanted to highlight the sentiment. I say “rules are meant to be broken” …..in some cases!!
Thank you for visiting today! I appreciate your comments very much.

Today I have CASED Julie DiMatteo from her Wednesday Night Facebook Live. If you have not viewed any of Julie’s videos, please go to YouTube or her Facebook page and check them out! She is awesome and has quite a few 3-D items. Look for ThePaperPixie.com. But Wednesday was the Watercolor Smooshing technique. And I have to say that it is addicting!!
Layering Love, 141965
I will not even try to explain how to do this background. I will say to go to Julie’s Facebook page and view the video. You can click HERE to see it. I do LOVE the way it turned out. And each time the results are totally different.
This is what I love about paper crafting. We get to just play with product and we end with cute cards.

Today’s card is for the Global Design Project’s 100th Challenge. I accepted Brian King’s challenge to CASE his card. You can go HERE to see all of the designer’s cards and play along as well. My card is made using the Daisy Delight Stamp set.
Daisy Delight, 143669
Most of the cards made with the Daisy Delight set have been with yellow daisies. So I wanted to be a little different! I used Peekaboo Peach and paired it with Wild Wasabi. However, to make a softer color I stamped off with the Peekaboo Peach for the flowers. The flower centers are Enamel Shapes in Regals (Cajun Craze).
The embossed background is the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. And the focal point is cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and then the Layering Circle Framelits. The sentiment is flagged by using the Banner Triple Punch and just barely inserting the strip of card stock.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the card and will go over to the Global Design Project to view others that have been CASED. Have a great day !

I cannot seem to stop playing with the Coffee Cafe Suite. And as I have said previously, I do not drink coffee! This suite of products is just so irresistible .

This card is a side fold with a pocket for a gift card. The base is 4 1/4 X 11 and scored and folded at 5 1/2. I then folded the top flap in half. (You can see from the photo at the bottom where the top of the blue is thicker) I cut off the folded end at 1 1/2 which leaves approximately half of the folded under section to slide a gift card into. I secured the flap with Tear and Tape on each side of the flap and close to the edges. This leaves ample room for the gift card without it being too tight a fit.
Once the gift card section is complete, the top layer is simple. Just be careful when you tape the top flap down to only tape the left section!! I have made that mistake myself on several occasions. 🙂
I kept the stamping pretty simple and just added the Soft Sky heart for an accent. The glitter enamel dot is to tie in the Pear Pizzaz. The coffee beans are stamped full strength once on each side and then again without re-inking on each side.
My color combination is from the beautiful Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I know i am repeating myself, but Stampin’ Up! has the BEST designer series paper!!
Thank you so much for stopping in today! I hope you enjoyed this card. I may not have explained myself very well on the making of the gift card flap. If you have any questions, please contact me.
