I really love this sentiment so I could not wait to ink it up. I got this card layout inspiration from Pinterest and went with this entire set. It could be made into a Simple Stamping card or multi-layered very easily. My card is somewhere in between those.
Flowering Desert, 148700
There is not much to comment about in this one. I added the flowers to give it more texture and depth. And the sentiment needed some background. So I used Touches of Texture to stamp and stamp off with Sahara Sand beneath the punched out sentiment. I also did some around the edges for the desert floor.
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s blog hop and will come back tomorrow for a Non Card project. Although the layout could very easily be used as a card. Now you will be guessing!

Sorry I am late today. I was fighting with the Year End Closeout links. As you can tell if you have been following me for any length of time, I am not a whiz at computer technology!!! Yikes. But I hope the awesome sale prices will be worth the wait.
Another great thing is that you can now order the Stamparatus Carry Bag. I have had the icon at the bottom of the post for a few weeks now. Well the time is here. And it is really the perfect bag for your Stamparatus, plus other uses as well. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Now for today’s card. It is another Sneak Peek of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. Did the Blog Title give it away? Of course it did…. Frogs!!!
Animal Expedition DSP 146902
Aren’t the little frogs adorable? I believe they will be the same big hit that last year’s SAB Pandas were. The name of the stamp set is So Hoppy Together. I linked to the DSP, because the graph for the stamp set is not available yet. I will update once I can get that link.
BUT….do you see how wonderfully it pairs with the Animal Expedition DSP? There are several pieces in that pack of paper which pair beautifully with this set. Hint, Hint….
Thank you so much for stopping by this morning. I hope you will check back tomorrow. I will be on time in the morning.
Today’s card is a case of a wall decoration I saw on pinterest. That was a painting instead of a card. But I thought it would make a great card. The concept is nothing new, but the look of the fence was the inspiration and one I have not previously made.
Rooted In Nature Bundle, 148353
I mentioned above that I have made similar cards with a cut out that is raised above the stamped image. But I had not used a different type shape, like this leaf. I had not previously used the Wood Textures DSP either. I love the wooden fence look.
I added the die cut/stamped leaves in front of the tree as some added dimension. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the final result. I hope you will give this a try using different shapes for the cut out.
The cut apart words are also a first for me. I am not sure why I spread them around the card, but when I tried with them all together, it just did not work for me. A day of difference!
The tree in the background is colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. I really hate that they cannot be ordered individually right now. I periodically add that to the idea box on the Stampin’ Up! website. Hopefully it will be an option in the future.
Thank you for stopping by. I will be back on Monday with a new project. I hope you will check in to see what it is. Here is wishing you a good weekend to come!
I am sharing with you in the next couple of days cards that I made for my Stamp Club’s Fall Swap. Then it is off to Orlando for the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary! I am so excited. If I read the information correctly, we can share new products this time. Usually we cannot. So be sure and follow me on Facebook for the updates. I may not be able to do new posts but I know I will be able to add to the Blueline Facebook page.
Now, back to the cards. The first is from my favorite set, Wishing You Well. I have shared a similar card before I believe. But this is definitely a keeper in the layout department. When making multiples this card is awesome.
Wishing You Well, 147864
I purposely did not put a sentiment on the front. That is the great thing about this stamp set. You do not need a sentiment to ground it. The additional bonus is that you can make multiples and put the appropriate sentiment on the inside as you need a card to send. A Win / Win situation!!
I have listed all of the information on today’s card below, as well as the supply list. Thank you for stopping in today. And be sure to like my Facebook page for updates from Orlando beginning on Thursday.
NOTE: There is a new feature being tested in the Online Store. It is “Shop the Project”. There are pictures of a card, etc, and you can click on it and see all of the supplies used. If you need any of them, you simply click on that item and it goes into your shopping cart. How cool is that??? Hopefully it will be utilized and become an added bonus to the website.
I inked up my Bokeh Dots stamp for the first time. I have read where some people had difficulty getting a good impression. I used the Stamparatus and a sponge brayer to allow me to ink it extra times if necessary. I noticed as I did this that it went from very light and not really clear dots to pretty vibrant. I believe either look would be good. I wanted to show the dots fairly well, so I inked it several times. After all of that I was very happy with the outcome. Then I totally changed the direction I was headed with the card! LOL! And ended up with this.
Bokeh Dots, 148113
I know that the Bokeh is an unexpected background, and color for that matter, to go with a harvest set, but that is where I ended up.
the sentiment and the harvest crate is from the Million Dollar set Many Blessings stamp set in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. The gorgeous DSP is Nature’s Poem. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. It really was a fairly quick and easy card to create. That is if you do not change your mind mid card!
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have an awesome weekend and will come back on Monday to see what is new. REMEMBER that Bonus Days are running out! There is only one more week to earn $5.00 on a $50.00 order. Also the Blended Seasons stamp set will go away next Friday as well.
I have another Country Home stamp set card today. I really am loving this set. For today I combined Country Home with Love What You Do stamp set. I almost named the post Country Pitcher, LOL! The pitcher reminds me of the old blue metal dishes that were speckled and usually had a tad of rust on them. Am I dating myself? HaHa. Anyway, I turned it into a vase.
Country Home, 147678
Isn’t that Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper just beautiful? Stampin’ Up! continues to top themselves on the beauty of the DSP. This pack has each sheet with one side that is either pearly or copper. It is just “WOW!!
Because I wanted a blue pitcher, I chose to focus on the blue of the DSP. My base card is Blueberry Bushel. I have used it before, but when I put it with this DSP it just seemed to brighten. My coloring is with the Stampin’ Blends. I love how they seem to blend themselves and do not leave lines. I am definitely not a great blender!
To finish off the card I knew it needed something but I did not want to cover up the DSP. So I added the Pearlized Doily. It sort of blended into the paper, so I backed it with a Blueberry circle. The sentiment is stamped and backed with Blackberry Bliss. I added just a single pearl to go with the pearlized paper and doily.
Thank you for visiting today! I very much appreciate it. I have a complete supply list at the bottom of the page. Also I have included the measurements just below. Thanks again and please stop back tomorrow.
MEASUREMENTS: (Sorry for the funky 16th of an inch measurements. I stamped and decided to cut it down and that’s where I ended up! Oops)
Card base is 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2 , folded and burnished
