Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because this month’s theme is “Art from the Heart” and we think you’re going to love it! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My card is definitely from the heart. It is covered in hearts and is perfect for anyone you love. But it does not have to be for Valentine’s Day. This one would be appreciated at any time. Besides the hearts, I have an unexpected choice to pair with them.
I have made a Waterfall Card to share my From the Heart theme. I had not made one of these in years. The ones I have made previously were single layer with the waterfall on the front and you added your wording to the bottom of the waterfall. This one is a bit different in that I placed the waterfall on a full size card. So you have the inside to add extra sentiment and your love.
Here are some of the pulls to show the different images.
I hope this gives you a different perspective of the Over The Moon set ! I think these guys and gals are just adorable and a fit for many occasions..
I am going to do a quick video on how I made this, but I am sure there are several on YouTube already. I will say that the most important aspect of the building of your layers, is to not glue down the cross bar. That has to be secured with brads or in a way that only the edges of the strip are attached. Otherwise your waterfall cannot pull through.
I have listed all of the supplies i used at the bottom of the post. Don’t forget to take a look.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 11th, for our “Critter Card” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects with animals, birds, butterflies or insects. Don’t miss the fun!
The Ultimate Bundle is the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit. During Sale-A-Bration you get the extra value for your $99.00. If you have a wish list or are ready to place an order and it totals close to 99.00, please read this first.

You pay $99.00 + tax and receive $125.00 of your choice of products + any stamp set from the annual or mini catalog (the most expensive one is the Well Said set with a $45.00 price) + the Mini Paper Cutter, a $26.50 value + the 6X6 DSP sampler pack (48 sheets of DSP) an $11.50 value + a Paper Pumpkin Kit with a value of $22.00 + FREE Shipping which is usually 10% of the order and would add another $23.00 value here. This equals over $230.00 value + business supplies added in at no cost. That is an awesome deal!! And you never have to purchase another thing. But while you are trying it out, and you have until the end of July before your trial period runs out, you are part of my Team! As well as my upline’s team. We have Facebook groups to share our projects and assist each other. I would love to talk with you about this opportunity.
Today’s card is my first card from the Holiday Catalog! WooHoo!! It is an awesome catalog. They always are, and each time I say this one is the best. It is true once again!
I am sharing a Fall or Thanksgiving card today. As always, the Designer Series Paper is fabulous! I love the colors they have paired in this pack. It is called Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. I have also used the Gather Together stamp set. The set has matching dies, but I did not use those on this one.
Do you agree on the beautiful DSP? The Pretty Peacock really pops, and it pairs well with the Early Espresso and Sahara Sand. Once again, the DSP takes the focal point.
The sentiment and background are cut with the Layering Squares Dies. The pieces are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the Braided Linen Trim runs beneath the square. I taped the ribbon to the back and then made a bow to glue dot to the front. That is the simple way of getting a perfectly snug ribbon and bow!
Thank you for stopping in today. I have all of the supplies listed at the bottom of the post.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s July Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SUNSHINE. The Sun is the single most important source of energy for life on Earth – it guides our clocks, calendars and planting schedules. We may be enduring a heat wave this week, but we still associate the Sun with positivity, joy and renewal. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Looking through my stamps for a “sunshine” idea was a bit difficult. I realized there is only one or two possible “sun” shapes and almost no sentiments. How can that be??? But I finally found the sentiment that spoke to me and made a card to match the sentiment. I understand that is a bit of an odd way of going about things, so I hope you like my final product.
When I made my card, I had not seen the opening paragraph that Brian wrote for this hop. It seems to go right along with the sentiment I chose. WooHoo!!!
I love the Country Road stamp set and was very happy that it was a carryover to the new catalog. The pieces in it are perfect for a collage type card. And the grass/weeds are wonderful in the background. They are even slightly slanted for that “wind at your back” theme in the sentiment.
I sponged the background of the card using the Stampin’ Sponges and soft colors. The sun is pretty bright made using Pineapple Punch. The sky is Seaside Spray and the grass background is Pear Pizzaz. I did not want the grass to be overly dark so the grass/weeds in Crumb Cake would show more.
The sentiment is also from the Country Road stamp set. The layered sentiment section is from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits. Both pieces are included. I added four of the Metallic Pearls for some rustic look to my sign. The Braided Linen Thread seemed the perfect finishing touch.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Jan Dufour at Stamp Me Silly. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:

Today I have another card using Retiring Products. I have included some retiring designer series paper as well as a stamp set. The set has been great for small cards. I used it several times for Fall Thank You cards and some table decorations. I also adore the name of this stamp set, Many Blessings! The sentiments in the set reflect that name too, which is part of what makes the different pieces so versatile. Here is my project for today.
Many Blessings, 147775
And after mentioning the cute sentiments, I did not put one on the front of the card. Duh! I love this gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series Paper. Especially these two which are Blackberry Bliss. For me at least I find myself preferring the “back side” of the DSP as much as the fronts. I think of them as having backs and fronts, doesn’t everyone? LOL!
I was showcasing the DSP as well as the cute stamp, so the card is fairly simple. I stamped the image in Gray Granite and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends. I finished with going over the flowers and pot with Wink of Stella to give it a little shine.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed these last minute cards. The 2019 Occasions Catalog and the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Catalogs go live tomorrow! I know I have a long list and hope you do as well. If you need catalogs, and do not currently have a demonstrator, I would love for you to reach out to me. I can get one to you quickly.
I have the measurements for today’s card just below this and the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.
Today’s card is a case of a wall decoration I saw on pinterest. That was a painting instead of a card. But I thought it would make a great card. The concept is nothing new, but the look of the fence was the inspiration and one I have not previously made.
Rooted In Nature Bundle, 148353
I mentioned above that I have made similar cards with a cut out that is raised above the stamped image. But I had not used a different type shape, like this leaf. I had not previously used the Wood Textures DSP either. I love the wooden fence look.
I added the die cut/stamped leaves in front of the tree as some added dimension. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the final result. I hope you will give this a try using different shapes for the cut out.
The cut apart words are also a first for me. I am not sure why I spread them around the card, but when I tried with them all together, it just did not work for me. A day of difference!
The tree in the background is colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. I really hate that they cannot be ordered individually right now. I periodically add that to the idea box on the Stampin’ Up! website. Hopefully it will be an option in the future.
Thank you for stopping by. I will be back on Monday with a new project. I hope you will check in to see what it is. Here is wishing you a good weekend to come!
I have another Country Home stamp set card today. I really am loving this set. For today I combined Country Home with Love What You Do stamp set. I almost named the post Country Pitcher, LOL! The pitcher reminds me of the old blue metal dishes that were speckled and usually had a tad of rust on them. Am I dating myself? HaHa. Anyway, I turned it into a vase.

Isn’t that Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper just beautiful? Stampin’ Up! continues to top themselves on the beauty of the DSP. This pack has each sheet with one side that is either pearly or copper. It is just “WOW!!
Because I wanted a blue pitcher, I chose to focus on the blue of the DSP. My base card is Blueberry Bushel. I have used it before, but when I put it with this DSP it just seemed to brighten. My coloring is with the Stampin’ Blends. I love how they seem to blend themselves and do not leave lines. I am definitely not a great blender!
To finish off the card I knew it needed something but I did not want to cover up the DSP. So I added the Pearlized Doily. It sort of blended into the paper, so I backed it with a Blueberry circle. The sentiment is stamped and backed with Blackberry Bliss. I added just a single pearl to go with the pearlized paper and doily.
Thank you for visiting today! I very much appreciate it. I have a complete supply list at the bottom of the page. Also I have included the measurements just below. Thanks again and please stop back tomorrow.
MEASUREMENTS: (Sorry for the funky 16th of an inch measurements. I stamped and decided to cut it down and that’s where I ended up! Oops)
Card base is 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2 , folded and burnished
