My first card club of the year was yesterday. It is so nice to get back in the groove and share what I love with friends! I could not wait to share with them products from the new catalog. You will be seeing these cards in the next couple of days.
For the first card I used the Meant To Be Bundle. Oh My!! Those dies are fabulous. You really do need the Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheets for some of the hearts. It makes adhering them super easy. And the little step of adding the adhesive sheet before cutting is really no big deal. For me, it is remembering to do it! LOL!!
This card is not just for Valentine’s Day. With the sentiment I used it could be for a variety of reasons, or the sentiment could easily be swapped for another.
Meant To Be Bundle, 150587
I LOVE everything about these lovely dies. The stitching, the curly lace look, and the solid hearts (although I did not use one of those on this project), are all perfect for a variety of ideas.
I pulled my colors from this gorgeous DSP. It is the All My Love Designer Series Paper. And for a change I used the main side instead of the reverse side 🙂 I did stamp the sentiment is Lovely Lipstick, which is also in this DSP. I needed the darker color to show up on the blue. I just could not bring myself to use Black on this card.
This gorgeous ribbon is one of the Sale-A-Bration items. This means it is FREE! And you get five rolls of this beautiful ribbon simply by spending 50.00 on products. Hint: the Meant to Be Bundle is 53.00, so there you are! This Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack contains 5 Yards each of Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, and Lemon Lime Twist ! WOW!! That is 25 Yards of ribbon at No additional cost to you!!

I want to apologize if you were looking for a post yesterday. I have been on vacation and though (Haha) that I was scheduled through yesterday. Well , you know how that goes…..I was wrong. But I am back now and with a special card.
Today is our 38th Wedding Anniversary! It really does not seem possible. But here we are. So I made a cute card for my hubby. We are not into gifts anymore and usually go for humor.
Love You To Pieces, 147392
It is more “cute” than anything, but fits us perfectly. On a side note: How do you lose a complete set of dies? I know I purchased this as the bundle, but the dies are not to be found!! A nice tip though is that it is really easy to fussy cut these puzzle pieces. Although it helps if you do not wait until the very last minute and then realize you cannot find the dies!
I kept the card very plain, only two base colors and then the bit of coloring on the heart shape. I love Night Of Navy with almost anything. This time I have paired it with Gray Granite. A great new gray.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I appreciate it more than you know. All of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s June Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “Here Comes the Sun.” As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with projects that are inspired by the joy of the summer sun. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
To me Sun = Summer, at least it did when I was a child. Another childhood summer memory is blowing on the little dandelion flowers and watching the fluff float around. Now I think of allergies and where I was spreading those little seeds!! But let’s stick with childhood summer good times! This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the stamp set Dandelion Wishes in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog. And when I saw the theme for this month’s blog hop, again I immediately thought of the dandelions! So here is the card made from my summer memories.
Dandelion Wishes, 146747
I totally love that sentiment! I love the font as well as the statement. And I am pleased that the card did come together as I envisioned it. That is a super win for me. Almost all of these products are new, which is another thing I love.
The colors I chose obviously were to match the Sun theme. I believe they totally worked to create the summer feeling. The new Pineapple Punch is a serious WOW and packs a punch (of color)!!
In case you haven’t figured it out, the sun is from the Painted Harvest sunflower. I stamped the center and then the least defined of the flower section.
All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Brian King. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! We are grinning from ear-to-ear with excitement over all the amazing, new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog – and you’re going to love what we are sharing today. Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects that offer sneak peeks at new products from the upcoming catalog. What fun! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My Top of the List Favorite from the new Catalog is the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. Actually, it and all that is in that Suite of products! From the banner above, it would appear that Brian King loves this paper as well!! My card for today focuses on quite a few of the products, but especially the DSP.
Love What You Do, 148042
As I said above, I have used quite a few products from this AWESOME Suite. In doing so, I have a lot more texture than I normally do. Of course the star is the Designer Series Paper. As an unexpected touch, I let it be the main focal point and added a little extra with different ribbons. (All of the supplies are listed at the very bottom of the post.)
The sentiment is part of a “Must Have” stamp set as well. It is Love What You Do and has beautiful flowers, backgrounds, and sentiments. I know I say it is all a Must Have, but this catalog is really over the top as far as I am concerned and I do want it all!
One other unexpected item on my card is the lighter base color, which is Petal Pink. It is an Oh My! color. I think it has a touch of light peach to the pink. Whatever it may have, it is gorgeous. And it pairs well with other colors both bold and bright.
Thank you for stopping by my page on the Blog Hop. I very much appreciate it and love to read your comments.
I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Deb Cozzone . There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

I have quite a bit of different textures going on in today’s card. The idea continued to evolve as I was putting it together and I like the unusualness of the outcome. I hope you will as well.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
There is quite a lot of Foil happening on the card. I have used the Foil Frenzy DSP along with a layer of Silver Foil card stock. Not finished there, I added Copper and Silver embossing, and finished with Copper and Silver thread under the bottle layer. The photo really does not do it justice. So here is a close up section.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
From this photo you can see that I embossed the bottle in Silver. I then embossed the love notes in Copper. The background of the bottle is Pool Party Light Stampin’ Blend. The foil layer is Silver Foil Card stock.. The Foil Frenzy DSP is the Pool Party dotted one. And the sentiment is embossed with Copper and mounted on a Silver strip. To finish my metallic thread…… (a play on words there!) I added the Silver and Copper Thread behind the bottle layer.
With all of the metallic included here, I still like it and the simple bottle now really pops. I hope you like it too. The Message In A Bottle set and the Foil Frenzy DSP are both on the Retiring List. I truly love the Foil Frenzy paper! It is a perfect weight for quite a few different types of projects.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I very much appreciate your support and comments.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes will be inspired by popular songs – the first is “I Think I Love You.” Our Blog Hop today is jam-packed with projects that are perfect for Valentine’s Day or that showcase love. How sweet is that?! We are excited to share our love-themed creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I went a little “Love You” crazy on my card! This week I have been making cards using ideas and layouts from cards that are several years old. I found the idea for today’s card in a box of old swap cards. I loved the idea, so I recreated it with LOVE in mind.
Sure Do Love You Bundle, 145653
I have been going a little overboard with the bright colors lately. This is another one. It didn’t start out that way, but sort of evolved. Hopefully you can see that it would be cute in more subdued, and maybe less, colors!
The paperclip is the focal point of the card and can be used as a bookmark or attach a magnet for a totally different purpose. To make the paperclip heart, I cut a solid heart and the stamped heart using the Lots To Love Box Framelits. I placed several stampin’ dimensionals between the two hearts and around the paperclip. The two Lemon Lime Twist hearts are cut using the same set of framelits as well.
The measurements will be at the bottom of the post after the blog hop list. There are also some hints to make the paperclip fit better.

Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
The card base is 5 1/2 X 8 scored and folded in half
The next layer is 5 1/4 X 4
The DSP layer is 5 X 3 3/4
The larger Pocket layer is 2 1/2 X 4 1/2
The next layer is 2 1/4 X 4 1/4
The DSP strip is 1 1/8 X 2 1/4
Hint: I used the 3/4 ” Circle Punch and punched in the center of the top pocket layer. I then punched again just a little on each side of that to allow the paperclip to slide in.
When you are taping the pocket layers together, have the paperclip through the slit. Otherwise the pocket is too flat and may pull away from the card. The same when applying the pocket to the card.
I suggest using Tear & Tape, or a similarly strong tape and go around the edges of both layers. (Adhering to the bottom pocket layer and the card itself.
ENJOY!!!
If you have any questions about today’s card, please do not hesitate to contact me !
