I am sharing more of Stampin’ Up!s beautiful Designer Series Paper today. And I have added some gorgeous dies that you will really want to use for Fall. Fall is right around the corner, and then holidays, Oh My!!! But let’s start with Fall.

I love how this card stands so perfectly. I made one of these cards almost a year ago. You can view that card HERE. It was a Fall card as well.
I used the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper for this card. I paired it with Merry Merlot Card Stock, but then added the Thick Whisper White to brighten it a bit. The white leaves are cut from the Seasonal Layers Dies. The sentiment I chose , which is from the Waterfront set, fit perfectly in the one. The solid Cajun Craze leaves are from the Gathered Leaves Dies in the upcoming Holiday catalog. They are a die and embossed at the same time type die. I LOVE them!!
The only extras I added were the Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon and the one Holiday Rhinestone on the bottom white leaf. I felt it needed a touch of bling.

I hope you love the Woven Heirlooms suite of products as much as I do. Partly because I think it is a fabulous suite. And partly because I have another card from it to share with you today. This will be the last of my favorite piece of the DSP, because I am out of it. It is on my next order list though!!
As I have said before, this is an awesome set but additionally it has made me fall in love with the Seaside Spray InColor. It is a beautiful blue with just a hint of a purple, at least in my opinion. Having used it so much with the DSP, it has become a fast favorite. To top that off, Stampin’ Up! added a Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon to the Holiday Catalog. WooHoo!!! As you can see from the photo, it has a touch of shimmer to it.
Since I love the designer series paper so much, and the added beauty of the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, I had to have an equally gorgeous sentiment. I love this sentiment, which is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set . I believe it is great for a birthday or wedding, and maybe other occasions. And I love the fonts used in the sentiment as well. To showcase the sentiment I looked through my dies and found the Stitched Labels Die. The sentiment fit perfectly and the die really stands out on the card. Yay!!

I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #400 today. I love the sketch they have chosen. I believe it is a great way to showcase designer series paper, which is one of my favorite products!
And here is the sketch I followed.
I used the Wrapped In Plaid 6 X 6 DSP as my background papers. I chose two pieces that had Shaded Spruce, Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler. The top piece is Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. I layered all of the pieces with Whisper White except the sentiment, which is layered on Night of Navy. The stocking is colored with Stampin’ Blends and is hanging from the curl of the B in Believe.
This was a really great sketch to use. I hope you will add it to your file of sketches.

Today’s project is a cute little card that uses unexpected stamp sets. I adore humorous stamp sets. Sometimes they are just the perfect way to deliver a message.
I think this chick is adorable. Plus I don’t know if you have noticed all of the beautiful paper in the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper. I have used it for a couple of cards recently. It just seems to match the theme of my card.
The chick is from the Birds of A Feather stamp set in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. It has birds that fit a variety of holiday occasions. For today’s card I paired it with a sentiment from a different Holiday Catalog set titled Gather Together. You may remember I used that set last week for the Fall/Pumpkin card. You are getting sneak peeks at the great products coming up in a little over a week.
I used the Stitched Nested Labels die to showcase the chick. I cut off the top of it straight and it makes the perfect banner. I used some creative license on the coloring of the bird. To tie that to the DSP, I used the Nature’s Twine wrapped around the banner.

I have a sweet magnolia card to share today. I love the Magnolia set and it unexpectedly, to me anyway, worked beautifully with the Woven Heirloom Suite of products.
You know I love this Woven Heirlooms Designer Series Paper since I have used it a few times. But the Heirloom Frames Dies are over the top beautiful! The detail is wonderful and very vintage looking. I like vintage better than just old!
I paired the small flower from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. The colors don’t exactly pair as well as I thought they would. So I added a touch of Seaside Spray splatter. I think it gave it enough to blend together.
