I have been focusing on stamp sets that are retiring. For a bit of a change of pace, I am using one that is not retiring. It is the Hold On To Hope Bundle from the Occasions Catalog. However……the bundle price is going away. Both the stamp set and dies are carrying over, they just will not have a bundled together price of 10% off. Any bundles you are still considering should be snatched up now and save. Every little bit saved helps!
Hold On To Hope Bundle, 145969
I kept this card pretty clean and simple. Don’t you just love the details on the Cross? I stamped the cross in Soft Suede and then the detailed one in Crumb Cake, and cut it out with the matching die.
Note: A must have for detailed dies is the Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet. I always make a mess of glue on intricately cut items and there is no mess with the adhesive sheets. Yay!!
For the flower swatch I colored the stamp with Old Olive and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Markers. To add some equal alignment, I added the little corner stamp in Old Olive as well. I love the little guy!
Thank you so much for visiting with me today. I very much appreciate your support and I love to hear from you. All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
Another Paper Pumpkin Special: The March PP was so popular due to the special gift that it sold out. So Stampin’ Up! has offered a great deal to replace that. New Subscribers who sign up before April 10, will receive April and May for half price. So 2 months for the price of 1. A great deal. Use my link HERE, and enter the code: SAVEFIFTY0418
It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
Friendships Sweetest Thoughts is a perfect springtime stamp set. I love it and will miss it at the end of next month. Today I have paired it with the Fresh Floral DSP that includes the current In Color Family of colors.
Friendships Sweetest Thoughts, 145826
I believe the DSP pairs perfectly with the little flower cart. I have mixed my reds in this. I used Berry Burst Card stock and DSP, Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blend, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend for the bird. Who knew it would all mesh pretty well???
The cart is stamped and colored with the Stampin’ Blends and then cut out using the Layering Ovals Framelits. Instead of placing it under an oval cut into the DSP, I decided just to layer it on top. Without a background layer, the single layer lays flat enough that it appears to be underneath. A win for quick and not having to measure to find the center!
Thank you for stopping by today! I have included all of the products used at the bottom of the page. Remember the Retiring Lists. The stamp set and DSP are on there.

I have quite a bit of different textures going on in today’s card. The idea continued to evolve as I was putting it together and I like the unusualness of the outcome. I hope you will as well.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
There is quite a lot of Foil happening on the card. I have used the Foil Frenzy DSP along with a layer of Silver Foil card stock. Not finished there, I added Copper and Silver embossing, and finished with Copper and Silver thread under the bottle layer. The photo really does not do it justice. So here is a close up section.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
From this photo you can see that I embossed the bottle in Silver. I then embossed the love notes in Copper. The background of the bottle is Pool Party Light Stampin’ Blend. The foil layer is Silver Foil Card stock.. The Foil Frenzy DSP is the Pool Party dotted one. And the sentiment is embossed with Copper and mounted on a Silver strip. To finish my metallic thread…… (a play on words there!) I added the Silver and Copper Thread behind the bottle layer.
With all of the metallic included here, I still like it and the simple bottle now really pops. I hope you like it too. The Message In A Bottle set and the Foil Frenzy DSP are both on the Retiring List. I truly love the Foil Frenzy paper! It is a perfect weight for quite a few different types of projects.

Another retiring set, that I have not totally decided will actually leave my house, is Layering Love. I really LOVE the sentiments of this stamp set. Today I have paired it for a little more masculine version. A favorite DSP has become the True Gentleman DSP from the Occasions Catalog. I think Stampin’ Up! really nailed it on the patterns in this pack of paper.
Layering Love, 141965
I went for non-Spring colors and added some different textures. This is quite a different card for me of late. I am happy with the results though. And again, there is quite a lot of retiring product here. The stamp set and DSP, as I mentioned above, but also the Sweet And Sassy Framelits!!! ( I cannot believe it!), the Enamel Shapes, and the Tutti-Fruitti Washi tape. Wow! And they look great together.
I hope you like my “a little bit different” card. I appreciate you stopping by today. All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. Remember that the retiring products are only “While Supplies Last” . If you hesitate too long you may miss out on a favorite.

I am continuing with last week’s theme of using retiring stamp sets. It is a nice way to say goodbye, and hopefully may inspire you to purchase one that you love. Needless to say, all of these I love. Some are harder to let go than others and this is one of those sets. Wild About Flowers was slow to grow on me when in debuted. However after seeing a few examples made with it, I was jumping on the BUY button. Here is a sweet card from that set.
Wild About Flowers, 138728
There is a lot of “retiring” going on in this card. The background leaf is from Butterfly Basics and the Wisteria Wonder (a favorite color of mine) is also saying goodbye.
Other than the sad goodbyes, this is a versatile card that would take care of almost any sentiment. I chose Happy Birthday because that is the card I most send. The flower is a two step stamp. I stamped the stem in Old Olive and then the flower in Wisteria Wonder. This panel is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The ribbon is adhered using my favorite trick. I tape the ribbon on the back and then with another small piece, simply tie a knot on the front. It lies perfectly straight as opposed to when I try to actually tie the two ends together on the front. If this is not already in your bow tying arsenal, give it a shot.
This card is part of a card swap with my Stamp Club from yesterday. I hope they , and you, like it as much as I do. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. Thank you for stopping by today!

I have combined two awesome items from the 2018 Occasions Catalog for today. Sadly both products are retiring. I truly love the Lots To Love Box Framelit. It is very versatile. And it makes a super cute little box. I have given it a more masculine look today and paired it with products from the True Gentleman Suite.
Lots To Love Box Framelits Dies, 145653
I used the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper for the Box and Belly Band. For the box, you cut two of the box shapes and adhered them together. The belly band is a strip of coordinating DSP that measures 8 X 2 1/2. I dry fit it and then creased it to fit snugly. It is only for decoration so I did not have to worry about allowing room for it to be slid off of the box.
The sentiment is an adorable stamp from the set Truly Tailored. It is punched out with the matching Tailored Tag Punch. The punch is the only item from this project that is carrying over. And I am thrilled. I do love my punches!! The blue punched shape is actually cut with my paper snips. Because the actual punched sentiment is all straight lines, it is very easy to simple cut the background piece. I adhered the punched piece to the Night of Navy and then simple trim around it.
I love the added texture and depth the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon brings to the box. I wish it was carrying over, but at least it is still currently available.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like the masculine version of this box.The Lots To Love Box Framelits are definitely a keeper. All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

Today I am using the same stamp set as yesterday, just a different stamp. This one is the Thanks A Watt! I love that it needs no sentiment . And like yesterday, it is so quick and easy.
Watts of Occasions, 143867
I would love to receive a Thank You card like this. Again, I have similar layers to yesterday, and it is also a 4 X 4 card. To make it a little easier than yesterday’s card, this one has all square layers. So it is a piece of cake to prep for. I used the Pumpkin Pie Light Stampin’ Blend to color the light bulb. The shading is done simply by going over a certain area a couple of times to add some layers of color. When you want a subtle difference ,sometimes the darker color is not necessary.
Thank you once again for checking my projects. I love to hear your comments. All of these products are on the retiring list. So if you are interested click on the link in the Supply List to go directly to my online store.

As I am pulling the retiring stamp sets, I have fond memories of so many. So as I said on Monday, I am going to showcase a few of my favorites. Today and tomorrow I will be using the same stamp set . It is a different set from earlier in the week, but these two cards are similar in layers and shape. This set is perfect for the quick Random Act of Kindness card or just a cute card.
Watts of Occasions, 143867
A few layers of beautiful card stock and a little Stampin’ Blends, and finished! What a deal!! I love the simplicity but shine this has. I layered Rich Razzleberry card stock with Gold Foil card stock. I added a layer of the Painted With Love DSP from the Occasions Catalog. The heart in the light bulb mimics the hearts on the DSP. The reflection you see in the photo is from the gold foil hearts. It is very hard to photograph. However, it is quick and easy. You could make quite a few of these in just a short time.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Tomorrow’s card will be using this same stamp set. I hope you will come back to check it out. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. clicking on any item will take you directly to my online store.

Card base of Rich Razzleberry is 8 X 4, folded in half

For the second card using the You’ve Got This stamp set, I used almost the same products plus some DSP. I added the Delightful Daisy DSP, another favorite. It works perfectly with both the Peekaboo Peach, and Night of Navy (yesterday was Dapper Denim).
You’ve Got This, 139575
When I use DSP, I like to put a layer between it and the base layer. I don’t want it to fade into the base. Instead of Dapper Denim, I went with Night of Navy due to the little pieces of it in the floral DSP. Other than that, I used the same inks and ribbon. I left off the glitter dots from yesterday. I think the bow is more than enough for the decoration. As I said yesterday, this ribbon is a dream to work with. My bling for this card is that I went over the entire flower with Clear Wink of Stella. In person it adds quite a bit of shimmer.
I hope you like today’s card. It has more layers and a bit different layout. I hope I have I have given you pause in considering some of these retiring items. Please place your orders soon to insure that you get the items you want. You can click on any of the items and be taken directly to my online store, or click on the Shop button at the top of the page.

It is the time of year where we are saying goodbye to some of the most loved stamp sets and accessories. We all have our favorites, but we must make room for new products. So the next couple of weeks I am going to be sharing some of my favorites that we are saying goodbye to. This week I have taken two stamps sets and made two cards with each. One is a pretty quick and simple. The second is just a little “more” . Not over the top just a little something extra. Today I am starting this journey with the You’ve Got This stamp set.
You’ve Got This, 139575
I apologize for the photography! This looks a bit washed out here. It really is quite bright.
I used the retiring Peekaboo Peach as the base with Dapper Denim as the coordinating color. The ribbon is actually Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding , another retiring product that I love. Just to give it a little sparkle, I added a couple of the Glitter Enamel Dots.
I hope you will stop back by tomorrow to see the same colors and stamp set with just a little bit more. The supply list is at the bottom of the page.
