Today’s projects are a continuous of the notecard and post it note holder of yesterday. I am simply showing you the cards I made to go in it. I used the same Share What You Love DSP and even some scraps of it for these quick and easy cards. I made several more than the packet will hold so I have them on hand to refill. Actually this entire project is going to a friend. 🙂

The stamp set the Thank You is from is Tropical Chic. When I used it earlier in the week, I fell in love with the script of the sentiments. This is a perfect example of why not to throw away your DSP scraps!
Thank you for visiting again today. I hope you will be back on Monday for some new projects.

I have found myself using quite a bit more Designer Series Paper in the last few months than I ever have. I am not sure why, but I am loving all of the DSP in the new Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!. They do know how to pick beautiful paper. Today’s card is carrying on that trend. I have used the Tropical Escape DSP.

Since this DSP debuted I have used more Blushing Bride card stock than in the last several years. Suddenly it is perfect to pair with several different colors. Here is my color combination for today. It came from the DSP of course.
The Granny Apple Green layer is the Bokah Dots stamp set. I love the look of texture it gives! For the flower, I used the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker to color the entire flower. I then took the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Marker and lightly went around the edges and the inner lines. Mango Melody is the perfect bright color to compliment the others. The sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade as well and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. The edge is also from the Poppy Parade marker. I simple ran the side of the brush tip around the edge of the cut out. Easy Peasy! Having the matching Framelits for this stamp set makes this a very quick card. I love that….
MEASUREMENTS:
Base Card of Blushing Bride is 4 1/4 X 11
Shaded Spruce layer is 5 1/4 X 4
DSP layer is 5 3/8 X 3 7/8
Blushing Bride small layer is 3 5/8 X 2 1/2
Bokah Dots layer is 3 1/2 X 2 3/8

I know I tend to say I LOVE a stamp set or product. And I suppose that is why I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I like their products more than any other stamping company. And I do like most all of the stamp sets. But here I go again……I love the Animal Outing stamp set. At first glance you may think it is for children and I don’t do many children’s cards. Please look at it again!! I rarely do a child card, but I am in love with these images. So here is another Animal Outing Card.

I think the expression on the Rhinoceros is like a very humble “you are welcome”! Or maybe I am losing it ! LOL…
I very much like (love) the Stampin’ Blends, and am so happy they are back in stock plus the addition of quite a few new colors. Although this stamp does not require blending, I still used the light and the dark of the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I simply went over the darker areas with the darker shade and it magically blended itself. Yay Me !
I also have a little paper tip for you. Never throw away your paper scraps, especially the ones where you trim 1/8 or 1/4. That is what I used for my gray stripe to break up all of the yellow. How handy is that???
Thank you very much for visiting today! I greatly appreciate it. I have listed the measurements a little further down. Also, be sure and check back tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop! You will get some great holiday ideas!

Today I have a one layer card. That is super unusual for me. I do love my layers! But I hope when you see this one, you will consider these great notecards as quick and easy cards to have on hand. Half of the work is already done for you. Take a look and then I will explain what is already on the card.
Delightfully Detailed Notecards, 146911
I love how this card turned out! These notecards are delivered with the watercolor wash look already on them. They are half in Mint Macaron and half in Blackberry Bliss. I love the subtle watercolor look which screams for you to just stamp on top of it. The Blackberry Bliss has a darker background and is maybe even more beautiful.
These notecards would be the perfect way to make and have on hand some quick Thank You type cards, or for a beginner crafter to not have to worry about doing layers. You get 20 notecards and envelopes for $9.50.
I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede and the tree by coloring with my Stampin’ Write Markers in Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede. And that is the completed card! It cannot get much simpler than that. The stamp set is Rooted In Nature, a wonderful set, especially for more masculine cards.
I also stamped on the envelope to give a little “something special is in here” look to it. I try to always remember to do that. It is a leaf from the same set stamped in Mint Macaroon.
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will return on Monday. Please remember to review all of the current specials. The JOIN NOW is the best ever!!!

I have another quick and easy card today. I am also showcasing the beautiful Highland Heather from the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp. It is gorgeous! And I am once again using the Detailed With Love stamp set. It is a very versatile set for sure.
Detailed with Love, 146606
I have also, for the first time, used the new Stampin’ Up! Embossing Mats. I used it for the detailed cutting in the center of the card. I may not have needed to do that, but I did not have a lot of time and didn’t want to mess up the card. So I played it safe and I love the outcome. I will definitely be playing with these mats more in the near future.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. This is a very simple layout that could be utilized in a variety of ways. I hope you will give it a try.

I am back from my awesome sightseeing tour down the west coast. We went from Seattle to San Francisco. I must say the Oregon Coast is simply breathtaking! All of the scenery and sights were wonderful.
Today I have a pretty quick card for you. I am trying to get back in the groove and have a lot of cards to make. So we will get right to it this morning.
I used the beautiful Tropical Escape 6X6 Designer Series Paper Stack as the main color scheme for this card. I am really in love with this paper. The colors are so bright and are some surprising combinations. The colors I have used today are not something I would normally have put together. So keep this combination to try yourself.
The three triangles, or squares if turned another way, are a great way to have a different look with stamp sets. I chose the Dandelion Wishes set and stamped them very subtly with the Gray Granite. I used the Layering Squares to cut them and the Blushing Bride scalloped background.
Thank you for coming back to see me today! I really appreciate it.
