I hope you enjoyed the Pals Blog Hop yesterday. There were some great cards on there. I have a Poppy card to share for today. I am sending hugs to anyone in need of a big hug! I personally love hugs.
On this card, I did the opposite of the previous card with the die cut poppies. You can see that card HERE. If truth be told, I made an oopsy!!!! When I was cutting I placed the wrong die on the DSP. But I thought “why not see how it looks”. That’s what I get for not paying attention at the cutting machine! I am thrilled that it does work by giving just a hint of the DSP.
I stamped the tall poppy with the attached bud a couple of times and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I then placed the two large die cut poppies over them and raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I like the look it gives.
The sentiment is from the Perfectly Framed stamp set. It coordinates with the Ornate Frames Dies from the Holiday Catalog. They carried over and were from a Halloween set. They are gorgeous frames with layers and curly pieces. I love when new things coordinate with old. I feel like I get more for my money.
Speaking of more bang for your buck. Have you checked out the new items that released last week? They all coordinate with products from the Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs. The DSP is especially awesome as it coordinates with the various punches that are new in those catalogs.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will come back tomorrow.
We are half way through February. That means we have 1 1/2 months left on Sale-A-Bration. Please check out what I have pointed out with the SAB Join Promotion. I wish I could get that amount of product for that price! It really is the most wonderful shopping spree! If you are at all curious, I would love to talk with you about the promotion and the benefits of being a demonstrator.
The Ultimate Bundle is the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit. During Sale-A-Bration you get the extra value for your $99.00. If you have a wish list or are ready to place an order and it totals close to 99.00, please read this first.
There is NO OBLIGATIONS to do anything beyond ordering the kit. You pay $99.00 + tax and receive $125.00 of your choice of products + any stamp set from the annual or mini catalog (the most expensive one is the Well Said set with a $45.00 price) + the Mini Paper Cutter, a $26.50 value + the 6X6 DSP sampler pack (48 sheets of DSP) an $11.50 value + a Paper Pumpkin Kit with a value of $22.00 + FREE Shipping which is usually 10% of the order and would add another $23.00 value here. This equals over $230.00 value + business supplies added in at no cost. That is an awesome deal!! And you never have to purchase another thing. But while you are trying it out, and you have until the end of July before your trial period runs out, you are part of my Team! As well as my upline’s team. We have Facebook groups to share our projects and assist each other. I would love to talk with you about this opportunity.

The Christmas Rose products will be available for customer orders beginning on November 1st. As will the new Paper Trimmer. I thought I would share a project with the Christmas Rose stamp set. This is so pretty and would work for other than Christmas. The stamp set has two cases. There is the single stamp, which is what I used today, in Red Rubber. The second case holds several stamps and they are in photopolymer. They can be used to add color to the large stamp I have used. I chose to color mine with Stampin’ Blends instead.
I stamped the large image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it using a variety of the Stampin’ Blends. I colored the roses with Poppy Parade and used that card stock as the base and layer of the card. The Designer Series Paper you see is from the Christmastime Is Here DSP. I wanted a sort of subtle background for the rose. This paper reminds me of old fashioned wallpaper.
MEASUREMENTS:
base is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2
White is 5 3/8 X 4 1/8
DSP is 5 1/4 X 4
Poppy Parade is 4 3/4 X 3 3/4
White is 4 5/8 X 3 5/8
Thank you for stopping by today! Please return again tomorrow for another new project.

UPDATES:
The new Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer has been revealed!! It is available for order by Demonstrators on October 1. Here is a picture of it. I will be giving you my opinion after the beginning of the month. I cannot wait and I hope you will be just as excited! The trimmer will be available for customer purchase on November 1st! WooHoo!!
CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE BUNDLE: This can be ordered as a Suite Bundle with everything pictured, or individually to get just the pieces you want. The products will be available on November 1 for customers to order.
As much as we hate the need for Sympathy Cards, we still try to make them personal and pretty. My friend who received this one loves the mountains and scenery that goes along with it.
The stamped leaves and the wood slice are from Rooted In Nature, as is the Thinking Of You. I love the font of the sentiment! I paired these with the embossed and die cut leaves from Gathered Leaves Dies.
The colors are Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede. What a great and rich set of colors. I shared the color and the beautiful leaf onto the front of the envelope as well. I love to add a stamp to the front of the envelope. I hope it tells the recipient there is something special inside.
The final touch for this card is the bow. I used several strands of the Linen Thread and tied a bow. It is adhered with another glue dot. They are my favorite for adhering small pieces.

I created this card for a friend who recently lost a loved one. As hard as these type cards are to make, I thought this sketch is perfect for a Mother/Daughter, or two friends, for a variety of occasions. It just so happens that it fit perfectly with the Global Design Project 174 sketch challenge. That never happens for me!
Artfully Aware, 149447
Here is the sketch that my card just happened to fit. We are given a bit of leniency on it matching the sketch exactly.
The technique I used is a fairly old one that is super fun. I took the negative from a die cut oval and taped it to my card with removable tape. You can also use sticky notes to hold it in place. Then all you do is sponge inside of the cut out. I added a little bit more in some places. If you want a very smooth layer, try using the sponge brayer with repeated passes. I just used one of the stampin’ sponges that is cut into pieces. I hope you will try this technique. Any die cut or punched shape is free game for this technique.
Thank you for visiting today! Please come back tomorrow for another InKing Royalty Blog Hop. There will be a lot of great projects for you to hop through.

Have you thoroughly flipped page by page of the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalogs? Mine are already dog eared from being flipped through so many times. But then I have had a head start on you. Please remember that you have access to the online catalogs by clicking on the catalog on the right side of my page. It takes you to all three current catalogs and you can open the pdf of each. So they are always at your fingertips!!
Now to share a new project with you. This is a great new stamp set that pairs with an existing punch and stamp set. Can you guess which one? Yes, it is a match to Mary Fish’s Million Dollar stamp set and punch named Varied Vases. This set coordinates with the punch and has great sentiments and fonts. For me anyway, pretty fonts are a must have. So here is my card
Vibrant Vases, 148656
I love how vibrant this Night of Navy card and envelope are. And yes, it is a new item as well!! It is on the bottom of page 26. The cards and envelopes come in two sizes in the package of 20. So you get ten of each size with matching envelopes. I especially love the striping on the inside of the flap.
This card, and the layout, are super quick and easy. It would be great for any smaller stamp. I chose to go with the one single vase of flowers and a beautiful sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed this first day of the new catalogs! I will have more new ideas fo you next week. All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the page. But please do not stop here. I have outlined all the great reasons for becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator right now. Of course, this offer is good during Sale-A-Bration, so you have from now through March to consider it. I hope you will jump on the opportunity now and begin experiencing all the great products you can choose from.

I am sharing with you in the next couple of days cards that I made for my Stamp Club’s Fall Swap. Then it is off to Orlando for the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary! I am so excited. If I read the information correctly, we can share new products this time. Usually we cannot. So be sure and follow me on Facebook for the updates. I may not be able to do new posts but I know I will be able to add to the Blueline Facebook page.
Now, back to the cards. The first is from my favorite set, Wishing You Well. I have shared a similar card before I believe. But this is definitely a keeper in the layout department. When making multiples this card is awesome.
Wishing You Well, 147864
I purposely did not put a sentiment on the front. That is the great thing about this stamp set. You do not need a sentiment to ground it. The additional bonus is that you can make multiples and put the appropriate sentiment on the inside as you need a card to send. A Win / Win situation!!
I have listed all of the information on today’s card below, as well as the supply list. Thank you for stopping in today. And be sure to like my Facebook page for updates from Orlando beginning on Thursday.
NOTE: There is a new feature being tested in the Online Store. It is “Shop the Project”. There are pictures of a card, etc, and you can click on it and see all of the supplies used. If you need any of them, you simply click on that item and it goes into your shopping cart. How cool is that??? Hopefully it will be utilized and become an added bonus to the website.
