I will say up front that I made this card a few days ago. I was so surprised when I checked my Stampin’ Up! Up-Line Brian King’s blog yesterday and saw a very similar card. I dd not want you , or him, to think I copied his card. Although it is an acceptable practice and is called CASEing.
Anyway, I made today’s card in response to the Royal Challenge we are doing on our Team Facebook page while Brian is off on the SU Incentive Trip. I also sent it the next day to a couple I met in my travels that own a cattle ranch. I thought of them as soon as I saw this awesome Over The Moon stamp set.
I believe I have said it before, but I think these cows are adorable. I paired the High Tide set with the cow to get the dirt and grass for the field.
The beautiful color I chose is the new In Color Rococo Rose. I think the name is sweet as is the color. The plaid is from the 2019-2021 In Color Paper Stack of 6X6 DSP. I gave it a small border of white to mimic the white showing with the cow.
The cow is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. It was die cut with the Layering Ovals Dies and backed with a scallop die from the Layering Ovals.
Here is a view of the inside and the envelope. I was going cow crazy on this card!
Thank you for visiting today! I really do appreciate it and hope you will return on Monday for more new projects.

I have a very Happy card to share today. At least I believe it is one that will make you SMILE! I also added a technique that is not as often used as most.
I believe daisies are just Happy Flowers. They seem to jump off of the card here. I used both the old Daisy Punch and NEW Medium daisy punch today. Each is two punched out flowers layered on top of each other. I also added the Perennial Essence Floral Center to each flower.
The background is Direct Ink To Paper. I simply opened the ink pad and drug it across the face of the Whisper White card stock. When I have shared this technique before, it was done on Glossy card stock. This time I used just regular Whisper White, not even the Thick version.
The two colors I used are Pretty Peacock on the bottom and Seaside Spray on the upper section. I went over it a second time in spots where I had lifted a tad early. I like the light and dark that you get in doing this technique. You do not want to press too hard.
The leaves are from the Daisy Lane Stamp set and are stamped in Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I love one stamp set cards!! I stamped the Smile on a scrap of card stock and then only punched one end with the Pretty Label Punch. I accomplished this by placing the piece of card stock inside the cutting area from the back. It was smaller than the punch area, so it was easy to line up top and bottom and then just punch the one end. I love playing with our punches to get different looks!
MEASUREMENTS:
Card base is 11 X 4 1/4
Layer is 5 3/8 X 4 1/8
Center layer is 3 7/8 X 3 3/8
White Center is 3 3/4 X 3 1/4
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will return on Monday for more new projects. Please check out the information below on the Bonus Days and the current Join Promotion.

I mentioned yesterday I was saying goodbye to some of my favorite DSP today. Yes, It is the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper. It such fun animal prints, but also really bright sides as well. I love both sides. Thankfully the Animal Outing Bundle will be carrying over……..BUT it will no longer be a bundle in the new catalog. So if you do not have it, get it before June 3 and save yourself 10%.
If you follow my blog, you know that I love bright colors most of all. This Designer Series Paper is right up my alley!! I love to color, but the beautiful giraffe is not my coloring (I wish I was that good!). It is cut directly from a piece of the DSP. The dies and paper pair up exactly for ease of card making. Or I can imagine in a scrap book for the “wild child”!!
I layered the same piece of DSP . The Berry Burst that is attached to the Lemon Lime Twist base is the back side of the top layer of DSP with the cute birds.
I was afraid my little giraffe would not show up enough. I raised him with dimensional, and then grounded him with the strip of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon. The sentiment is stamped on white and punched with the Tailored Tag Punch. I love using that layer in the up and down direction. The added bling is from the Glitter Enamel Dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow for a project with new products!!

I returned from a FABULOUS trip to Charlotte for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Event. I was surrounded but a large group of Demonstrators who were all so thrilled to be there. The weather was not too hard on us and fun was had!
We did a card swap in my group and I forgot to take a picture of the card I made. However, I used the same basic card with my Stamp Club last week. So I am sharing that version. It is really the same, just different Designer Series Paper. I will say that using different paper gives it a very different look. I don’t know why that is. Today’s version is very bright!
This Little Piggy, 143922
I adore This Little Piggy! And am THRILLED to share with you that it is carrying over into the new Annual Catalog. WooHoo!!! Seeing the catalog early, and let me tell you that it is AWESOME, is one of the best reasons to be a SU Demonstrator!
Back to the card!! I stamped the piggy and colored her with the Stampin’ Blends. You may not be able to see from the photograph, but I added Wink Of Stella to her wings. Wings should sparkle!! And that is pretty much it. I have the measurements for the DSP listed below.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you like this card. It is a great way to use up scrap DSP, and the small pieces we cut off when trimming layers. I have listed all of the supplies at the bottom of the post. I have also added a HOST CODE if you would like to place an order with me. If you do not currently have a SU Demonstrator I would love to help you and if you will let me know, I will send you a new catalog next month when they become available.
Measurements:
Base layer is 8 1/2 X 5 1/2
Layer is 4 1/4 X 5 3/8
Dsp is 4 X 5 1/4, cut into 2 pieces of roughly 1/3 and 2/3 . I simply flipped over one piece for the two DSP you see. You can always mix and match if you are doing multiples.
The strip is 1/2 X 4 of coordinating card stock, or you could use a strip of ribbon if you prefer.
Pig layers are 2 3/4 X 3 and 2 5/8 X 2 7/8
If you place an order with me, please use the April Host Code of 3KNKXJFH. If your order is $75.00 (of product) or more, I will send you a small gift. If it is over $150.00 (of product) I will send you a small gift, but DO NOT use the code. 150.00 is the minimum host rewards so you get the host rewards.
I have been finishing my swap cards and 3D swaps for OnStage in Charlotte this weekend. Whooo!! I have been really far behind on all of that. But I am down to just putting the boxes together. They will get worked on during the ride up there tomorrow. I will share that project with you next week.
Before I get to my card, I snapped a picture of my gorgeous azalea bush that has decided to pop out in the last couple of days. Here it is.
For todays card I have a really quick and sweet card. I have been using some Annual Catalog stamps this week and today continues that theme. I went with the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper. It is so adorable! And the Label Me Pretty stamp set for the little sentiment.
The only stamping on this card is the sentiment. The sweet animals were punched from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper. How easy is that!!! I paired it with another piece of DSP from the same package. The base colors are Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. They are both on the soon to be retiring list. They are in the 2017-2019 In Colors. So we have known they would be leaving us. I really do wish the Lemon Lime Twist could stay.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I will share my swaps next week. Please Like my FaceBook page, Blue Line Stamping, and you may get to see some sneak peeks at new products coming soon.
I have some awesome new products to show you at the bottom of the post. So don’t close out too soon! But let’s get to the card of the day first.
The layout I have used for today’s card is one that would work for pretty much any card. And I adore it! It is also great for the scraps we all cannot stand to through away. The layers can be adjusted actually so that they would fit the scrap pieces you have. Isn’t that a great idea?
Itty Bitty Birthdays, 148618
I planned this card as a Birthday card, but in adding the categories that it wold fit, I realized this sentiment is an awesome one. It would be great for a Graduation, which is coming up real soon, or a retirement. And probably a few others.
The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set. I love all of the “Itty Bitty” type sets. They are the perfect size and usually cover almost any occasion, even the more unusual ones. Or at least ones that you do not use very often.
I have not used a lot of Grapefruit Grove card stock, so decided to remedy that today. It is one of the colors in the pack of this gorgeous DSP. It is the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper. I also used Night of Navy as the DSP backing , and Pineapple Punch for the sentiment backing.
Thank you so much for stopping in today. I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will return tomorrow to see another new project.
