A PawLaLa Christmas

My card today is another Sneak Peek of the upcoming Holiday Catalog  I am an animal lover and there are a couple of sets the are must haves in that regard.  Today I used PawLaLaLa.  The title should give you a hint. 🙂

Stampin' Up! Santa Paws, stampinup, Jackie Beers, Jackiebeers

Santa Paws, 144889

This 4 X 4 card is sweet, cute, and easy to do.  A winning combination.  I used traditional Christmas colors for the card and then just colored the “singers” with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.  It can’t get any simpler than this.  And with the 4 X 4, the measurements are so easy as well.  I am really becoming addicted to these square cards!

And that is it for today!  A quick card and a short post.  I do apologize ahead of time that I had technical difficulties (Really operator malfunction!) and I could not get the picture of the Santa Paws stamp set.  I will try to get it and add it later if I can.

Thank you for stopping by today.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.  The supplies I used are listed below.  You can click on any item and be taken directly to my Online store.

Have an Awesome day today!!!

You’re The Best #GPD100

Today’s card is for the Global Design Project’s 100th Challenge.  I accepted Brian King’s challenge to CASE his card.  You can go HERE to see all of the designer’s cards and play along as well.  My card is made using the Daisy Delight Stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight, Jackie Beers, jackiebeers, stampinup

Daisy Delight, 143669

Most of the cards made with the Daisy Delight set have been with yellow daisies.  So I wanted to be a little different!  I used Peekaboo Peach and paired it with Wild Wasabi.  However, to make a softer color I stamped off with the Peekaboo Peach for the flowers. The flower centers are Enamel Shapes in Regals (Cajun Craze).

The embossed background is the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.  And the focal point is cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and then the Layering Circle Framelits.  The sentiment is flagged by using the Banner Triple Punch and just barely inserting the strip of card stock.

COLOR COMBINATION:

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed the card and will go over to the Global Design Project to view others that have been CASED.  Have a great day !

Black Cat Birthday card

I have another Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek.  It is for the Cat Punch.  I am a huge cat fan.  We have had one or  more my entire married life.  So when I saw this punch I knew it would be on my first order.  Yay for being a demonstrator and getting a chance to order first!  (Hint, Hint!!)

Stampin' Up! Cat Punch, Stampinup Cat Punch, Jackie Beers, jackiebeers

Cat Punch, 144611

Isn’t that just the cutest little guy? My husband’s birthday is coming and this would be a perfect Birthday card for him.  Yes, this Spooky Night Designer Series Paper is for Halloween.  But this striped version doesn’t scream Halloween.  I think it is a good Fall paper.  And we have always had at least one Black Cat so this little guy is appropriate.

The hat I added is from the Better Together set.  I showcased it last week.  You can see it HERE

Do you recognize the punch for the Happy Birthday?  I do not think you will be able to guess.  It is the Bow Builder Punch.  I was looking through my punches for one that would fit the sentiment and saw the bow.  That is thinking WAY outside the box !  And that perfect birthday sentiment is from the Ready To Pop set.  There are great little sentiments in that set.

The Vintage Crochet Trim in Black is something you must see in person.  It is so soft and easy to work with.  In fact, the entire Suite of Spooky Night products are all a must have.  And that is even if you do not celebrate Halloween or make Halloween cards.  The items are wonderful!

And last but not least, I gave him a little bling with a rhinestone on his collar.  Even guys need bling.  And anytime I use DSP that is where my color combination comes from.  Why recreate the wheel when Stampin’ Up! has done it for you?

Painted Harvest

I am so happy to share with you one of the upcoming stamp sets.  The Painted Harvest set will be in the Holiday Catalog which debuts September 1.  When I first saw the set I was not really excited.  But when I got it in my hands and could play with it….WOW!!  I love it.  Here is my first card with this cute set.

Stampin' Up! Painted Harvest, Stampinup, Jackie Beers, jackiebeers

Painted Harvest Bundle, 146021

This sunflower stamp is so fun to work with.  To get the different shading and layers, I stamped it with Crushed Curry, and each stamping I turned the clear block a quarter turn.  Basically I turned it so that each time I stamped a different side of the block was at the bottom.  The center is cajun craze and the splatter is Sahara Sand with the splatter stamp from Touches of Texture.  The extra splatter that you notice towards the bottom is Cajun Craze and I splattered using the marker with it’s cap.

The leaves are done with old olive and then Always Artichoke over the top.  The leaves are punched with the Leaf Punch which is part of the Painted Harvest Bundle.  The leaves and one sunflower are popped up with dimensionals.

COLOR COMBINATION:

MEASUREMENTS:

  • The base of Cajun Craze is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 folded in half
  • The Always Artichoke is 5 1/4 X 4
  • The Cajun Craze is 4 3/4 X 3 1/2
  • The Very Vanilla is 4 1/2 X 3 1/4

Thank you for stopping by today.  I appreciate your comments very much and would be happy to answer any questions or assist you in any way.  The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post.  You can click on any item and be taken directly to my Online store.

Please do not forget about this special Paper Pumpkin offer.  It is an Awesome way to give the monthly subscription a try.  You will definitely get a value well over the $10.00 the first box will bring to you.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sprinkles of Life card

I have another card with an older stamp set.  The Sprinkles of Life set has been around for a year or so and I realized I had not used it very much lately.  All those new sets are so exciting that we forget to look at the other ones.  Be warned, this card is a bright one!

Stampin' Up! Sprinkles of Life card, stampinup, Jackie Beers, jackiebeers

Sprinkles of Life, 139971

I thought a bright 4 X 4 card fit the image of the Sprinkles of Life sentiment.  It is designed to make you smile.  And it made me smile because it was really quick and easy to put together!

The cupcake is stamped and the bottom is hand cut while the frosting top is punched with the Tree Builder Punch.  Who knew that you could get a cupcake out of a tree????  (LOL)  I layered both with dimensionals and then the banner tips are cut using the Banner Triple Punch.  I just placed the ends into the tip of the punch.

Thank you for stopping in today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Remember there is a limited time for the 1/2 Price Paper Pumpkin Kit!!!
