I have a very classic, with a twist, Happy Birthday card for you today. This is a stamp that I believe is a must have for anyone’s stamp collection!
Stylized Birthday, 141828
Do you see my twist? The bright Lemon Lime Twist really makes it pop. I am enjoying using the knew Leaf Punch, (You got another sneak peek!), as an embellishment. This is a quick and easy card that requires very little supplies and would be a perfect card to duplicate in a variety of colors.
The supplies I used are listed below and will take you directly to my online store. I hope you have a great day! Thank you for visiting.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects inspired by some of our favorite Fall-themed products. What fun! Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs (both the Annual Catalog and soon-to-be-released Holiday Catalog) are filled with so many fun products for the Autumn holidays – and we are excited to share our creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Thank you for joining me today. My card is made with a fabulous new set the Painted Harvest. I cannot say enough good things about this set. And it is probably the most forgiving set ever. Of course I know you would never make a mistake on your cards!! But this set truly does not show mistakes.
Painted Harvest, 144783
There are so many color combinations that you can try with this awesome sunflower set. But I went with the traditional, more or less, colors today. I wanted the colors to enhance the beautiful Copper Trim Ribbon and the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape. Wow! This wash tape is gorgeous. I only used two of the five designs. They are a must have for Fall and Winter.
I used the New Thick Very Vanilla card stock for the base of my card. I added the Washi Tape and then aligned the stamped panel between the wash tape and the edge. It is centered but to the side. I mounted the stamped piece on Sahara Sand and Cajun Craze to help draw all the colors together. The “splatter” is from the Touches of Texture stamp set. The sentiment is from the Painted Harvest stamp set and is punched out using the New Everyday Label Punch. I just used the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker to go around the edge of the punched piece to give the illusion of another layer.
I hope I have inspired you to give this Painted Harvest set a chance once you get the Holiday Catalog in your hands!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Kim Jolley

The Stampin’ Up! Note Cards and Envelopes ( 20 cards and envelopes for $6.00) are a super value. And this is what I have used as the base of my card today. They are the same weight as the Thick Whisper White or Thick Very Vanilla card stock. So you can stamp directly on them or layer, as I have done here.
Happiest of Days, 143796
I apologize for the white on white with my background! I am working on my photography! yikes….
The note cards measure 5 X 3 1/2, so they are plenty big enough to use in a variety of ways. The Calypso Coral card stock and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper are really the stars of the show. The two really help the stamped images pop.
The stamp set I used is the Happiest of Days set. This is a small set that really is great to have. You can see the set in the supply list below. I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive and colored the cake with Stampin’ Write Markers. So easy! I also stamped the cake, minus the stand, on the front of the envelope. I do this on most of my cards. I believe it gives the recipient a smile before they open they card.
The beautiful ribbon is new to the current catalog and is Calypso Coral 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon. It is even prettier in person. There are three of the Ombre Ribbons on page 198.

Today’s card is done in Wisteria Wonder. I really adore this color, but then find that I rarely use it. Do you ever find yourself in this situation? Hopefully this card will inspire you to use your favorite color. I do love how this card came together. Another quick and easy one.
As I said before, I love Wisteria Wonder , and I believe it pairs beautifully with any of the greens. I am partial to matching it with Wild Wasabi though. And instead of using any of Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful DSP, I went back to my old faithful the embossing folder. This is Petal Burst Embossing Folder and it is wonderful to use with a stamped flower image.
And speaking of the stamped flower image……do you know what set this cute little flower is from? It is from the Daisy Delight stamp set. It is almost hidden due to the size and you are drawn to the large daisy stamp. Another reason to grab this stamp set!!!
I did use the Layering Square Framelit and Stitch Shapes Framelit dies to add some extra detail to the simple stamped flower. All of the layering framelits and the stitched shapes framelits are perfect for most cards. They may seem like you are splurging, but I think they are wonderful investments!
I apologize that the ribbon is a retired item. Although I have not checked to see if it is still on the clearance rack. It is the Wisteria Wonder Seam Binding Ribbon.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. The supplies I used are listed below. If you click on any of the photos it will take you directly to my online store.

I have another card made using the Cat Punch from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. As us Cat Fans know, cats are not just for Halloween. Today is a second Cat Birthday card, but in non-Halloween colors.
Cat Punch, 144666
Do you see the shadow behind the cat? I just had a wild idea and decided to try that. I punched the DSP cat and then a solid Berry Burst cat to place behind. I think it gives an unusual touch.
The DSP is the Fresh Florals, which is the newest In Colors. The pattern on the cat is actually the same design as the back side of the Tranquil Tide pieces. The White Doily is something I really love, but then rarely use. I think it worked here though.
The banner is punched from the Banner Triple Punch and the sentiment is from Ready to Pop. I love the cute and smaller sentiments in that set. You should give them a glance. And the final touch is the Berry Burst Seam Binding Ribbon. It is a beautiful pop of color and so easy to work with. The bows come out perfectly the first time. I wish we had that ribbon in every color!!
I do not make a lot of cards using the Regals color family, but this falls in to that category (even though they are the newest In Colors) But I love how they worked together. If you decide to give them a try, please let me know how it turns out.
