You will laugh over the inspiration for today’s card! We have several bird feeders on the edge of our backyard. When I was refilling them yesterday I noticed some tiny corn and sunflowers trying to grow. Who would have thought you could grow plants from birdseed. Anyway…..that was the inspiration for today’s card.
Of course I took creative license in making the sunflowers blue! LOL!! The area where our bird feeders are located back up to the neighbor’s privacy fence resulting the use of the Wood Textures DSP for the stamping surface. You never know where inspiration will come from!
I don’t normally show other photos, but I have to share this one with you. I live north of Atlanta and we get strange weather. Well yesterday afternoon was the strangest yet, and a little scary. We had the largest hail storm I have ever seen. What do you think?
These are in my husband’s hands so they really are quite large, and oddly shaped. It sounded like golfballs being hit against our garage door and gutters. We had just been in the yard when it happened and ran into the garage. So I am not sure how bad it was inside the house. Yikes! I hope not to repeat that again.
Okay! Thank you for visiting today. The supplies I used are at the bottom of the page. And you will be surprised at how little supplies were used. Although I do have to say that I am growing more and more in love with the Mango Melody color!!

Copper has always been a favorite of mine. So I cannot explain why I have waited this length of time to try embossing on the Copper Foil Sheet! I hope you will be as happy with today’s outcome as I am.
Lovely Floral Dynamic , 148048
Isn’t that gorgeous??? (Please excuse the glare, it is difficult to photograph shiny items.) I cannot believe I have waited this long to emboss the foil.
I am sure you recognize the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. The cut out flowers are from that pack as well. The wonderful sentiment is from that Suite of products and is aptly named Love What You Do!
For the corner rounder I used the new Detailed Trio Punch. I know I have used it several times recently, but I really like how it punches. However, today is the first time I have tried the ribbon hole punch that is one of the three different punches. I will definitely be utilizing it more often.
Thank you very much for stopping by today! I hope you liked today’s card. I have listed all of the products at the bottom of the post.
REMINDER : You only have until the end of the month to take advantage of the fabulous Join promotion to receive a FREE color family of ink pads. Also, the buy 3 get 1 FREE of the DSP will be ending on the 31st as well.

I have another sneak peek of the Blended Seasons Stamp Set that will be available only during August. It is a super stamp set with Christmas, Fall, and Summer stamps. And the font of the sentiments is just wonderful!
Blended Seasons, 149016
This sentiment is probably my favorite and I love the combination fonts for it. Can you tell that I just received my new Stampin’ Blends? I had to give them a try. On this card I only used the Highland Heather one though. The blends make coloring so quick and easy. And you definitely do not need to be a great colorer. I am for sure not one of those!! But the blends make it look good anyway! Yay!!
I did a little more layers than normal on this card. Again, that was done to show off some of the beautiful colors from the Color Revamp. These are Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and of course Old Olive.
Thank you for stopping by today! I very much appreciate it. I hope you will return on Monday for some new card ideas.
The stamp set I used for today’s card is not your normal flowers, animals, etc. And I absolutely Love that! Sometimes you really need to shake things up. I think this stamp set is great for male and female, and especially our more active friends.
Enjoy Life, 148190
I like the simple elements of this stamp set. Although I paired it with some pretty bright colors and DSP. I am enjoying the new Mango Melody color. Here it is paired with Granny Apple Green. Two of my Color Revamp Favorites! The Designer Series Paper is a reverse side from Animal Expedition DSP. And the perfect sentiment is from the new Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. It was hard to say goodbye to Teeny Tiny Wishes, but this is an awesome replacement!
Thank you for visiting today! I appreciate it very much and love to hear from you.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s July Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “I Don’t Want to Wait ’til Christmas.” We are half-way through the year, so there’s no better time to start thinking about the joy of Christmas. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Even though this is a blog hop and you usually get cards that are a little extra special, I have gone the more simple route today. I have used basically all new products and believe that it is still a special card. It is also a card that would be wonderful to mass produce, as we tend to do with Christmas cards.
Stitched Season Framelits, 149013
This gorgeous cut out is from the Stitched Season Framelits. Did you notice the stitching around the cutout? The dies also produce stitching on the section that is cut out as well. So you get stitching on both, a one for now and one for later type results. This framelits set is part of a bundle of products that are only going to be available in August. It is these framelits and a super stamp set called Blended Seasons. They definitely compliment one another. I will attach a flyer further down.
Today’s card is really a great production card. The gorgeous background is the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper. The little banner is the reverse of that sheet as well. And the sentiment is from the Nature Sings stamp set. I love that sentiment. And just to give it a little bling, I added some of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to a few of the ornaments.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Rachael Shadeed at Bluebonnet Stampin’. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! Also, I have listed all of the supplies used at the bottom of the post.
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
I know I tend to say I LOVE a stamp set or product. And I suppose that is why I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I like their products more than any other stamping company. And I do like most all of the stamp sets. But here I go again……I love the Animal Outing stamp set. At first glance you may think it is for children and I don’t do many children’s cards. Please look at it again!! I rarely do a child card, but I am in love with these images. So here is another Animal Outing Card.
Animal Outing, 146600
I think the expression on the Rhinoceros is like a very humble “you are welcome”! Or maybe I am losing it ! LOL…
I very much like (love) the Stampin’ Blends, and am so happy they are back in stock plus the addition of quite a few new colors. Although this stamp does not require blending, I still used the light and the dark of the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I simply went over the darker areas with the darker shade and it magically blended itself. Yay Me !
I also have a little paper tip for you. Never throw away your paper scraps, especially the ones where you trim 1/8 or 1/4. That is what I used for my gray stripe to break up all of the yellow. How handy is that???
Thank you very much for visiting today! I greatly appreciate it. I have listed the measurements a little further down. Also, be sure and check back tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop! You will get some great holiday ideas!
MEASUREMENTS:
DSP strip = 1 7/8 X 5 3/8

Punches are one of my favorite crafting products. I think of them as a staple of paper crafting. So I was thrilled when Stampin’ Up! came out with this new Detailed Trio Punch to pair with the Detailed With Love stamp set. Yes, they are a bundle!! The 3 in 1 punch is perfect. All three corners are almost must haves and here they are all in one. I have used the same center piece as I did on my previous card. But the look is very different!
Detailed With Love Bundle
Would you believe that this Designer Series Paper is the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP? I rarely do baby cards, but loved this DSP. I believe it is perfect for non-baby cards! And it is a totally different look from the first card I made using this bundle. You can see that card HERE.
Thank you very much for visiting today! I greatly appreciate it. If you have any questions about the card, Stampin’ Up!, or JOINING MY TEAM, please contact me. It helps if you put the correct date on the scheduled post. Sorry about that!!
Today I have a one layer card. That is super unusual for me. I do love my layers! But I hope when you see this one, you will consider these great notecards as quick and easy cards to have on hand. Half of the work is already done for you. Take a look and then I will explain what is already on the card.
Delightfully Detailed Notecards, 146911
I love how this card turned out! These notecards are delivered with the watercolor wash look already on them. They are half in Mint Macaron and half in Blackberry Bliss. I love the subtle watercolor look which screams for you to just stamp on top of it. The Blackberry Bliss has a darker background and is maybe even more beautiful.
These notecards would be the perfect way to make and have on hand some quick Thank You type cards, or for a beginner crafter to not have to worry about doing layers. You get 20 notecards and envelopes for $9.50.
I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede and the tree by coloring with my Stampin’ Write Markers in Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede. And that is the completed card! It cannot get much simpler than that. The stamp set is Rooted In Nature, a wonderful set, especially for more masculine cards.
I also stamped on the envelope to give a little “something special is in here” look to it. I try to always remember to do that. It is a leaf from the same set stamped in Mint Macaroon.

I have a bit of an unusual, at least for me, project for you today. From my West Coast trip I brought a friend ,who loves Ghirardelli Chocolate, a gift. Of course I had to make a decorative box to hold it. This is definitely not my specialty!! But I measured and winged it, and here are the results.
Treat Time, 146626
I did used retired DSP. I wanted a thicker paper for my gift box. There are some great new ones, I just did not have a large enough piece. I have been really using my DSP lately! And here is the inside of the box.
I used Julie DiMatteo’s favorite mini magnets as the main closure. I did add a decorative slide off band as well. In doing so, I fell in love with this stamp set, Treat Time ! Oh My, who would not LOVE to get a card or gift with the sentiment “It’s A Real Treat Being Friends With You”? I think that is my new favorite sentiment.
Thank you for visiting today. Remember to check out the specials, and especially the FREE Ink Pads for joining!!

I have another quick and easy card today. I am also showcasing the beautiful Highland Heather from the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp. It is gorgeous! And I am once again using the Detailed With Love stamp set. It is a very versatile set for sure.
Detailed with Love, 146606
I have also, for the first time, used the new Stampin’ Up! Embossing Mats. I used it for the detailed cutting in the center of the card. I may not have needed to do that, but I did not have a lot of time and didn’t want to mess up the card. So I played it safe and I love the outcome. I will definitely be playing with these mats more in the near future.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. This is a very simple layout that could be utilized in a variety of ways. I hope you will give it a try.
