I hope you enjoyed the Pals Blog Hop yesterday. There were some great cards on there. I have a Poppy card to share for today. I am sending hugs to anyone in need of a big hug! I personally love hugs.
On this card, I did the opposite of the previous card with the die cut poppies. You can see that card HERE. If truth be told, I made an oopsy!!!! When I was cutting I placed the wrong die on the DSP. But I thought “why not see how it looks”. That’s what I get for not paying attention at the cutting machine! I am thrilled that it does work by giving just a hint of the DSP.
I stamped the tall poppy with the attached bud a couple of times and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I then placed the two large die cut poppies over them and raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I like the look it gives.
The sentiment is from the Perfectly Framed stamp set. It coordinates with the Ornate Frames Dies from the Holiday Catalog. They carried over and were from a Halloween set. They are gorgeous frames with layers and curly pieces. I love when new things coordinate with old. I feel like I get more for my money.
Speaking of more bang for your buck. Have you checked out the new items that released last week? They all coordinate with products from the Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs. The DSP is especially awesome as it coordinates with the various punches that are new in those catalogs.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will come back tomorrow.
We are half way through February. That means we have 1 1/2 months left on Sale-A-Bration. Please check out what I have pointed out with the SAB Join Promotion. I wish I could get that amount of product for that price! It really is the most wonderful shopping spree! If you are at all curious, I would love to talk with you about the promotion and the benefits of being a demonstrator.
The Ultimate Bundle is the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit. During Sale-A-Bration you get the extra value for your $99.00. If you have a wish list or are ready to place an order and it totals close to 99.00, please read this first.
There is NO OBLIGATIONS to do anything beyond ordering the kit. We are about one third way through the Sale-A-Bration period. I thought I would give some extra love to some of my favorite pieces. I am focusing on the Little Ladybug stamp set.
I think the ladybugs are just so darn cute!! And the best part is the stamp set is FREE with a $300.00 order or a party that totals at least $300.00 where you are the Host. This is on top of the FREE items you can get for every $50.00 you spend. Woohoo!!
To make this card even better, I used the soon to be released coordinating Ladybug Dies. They will be released on February 4th . You can see the flyer just below the post. There are a few other coordinating dies for SAB and the Occasions Catalogs. The beginning of February is a perfect time for a party!! I hope you will give me a call and let’s set one up.
OK, on to the particulars of the card. The base is a seldom used color that fit perfectly. It is Call Me Clover and is an In Color that retires this coming June. It is a perfect Spring, Saintt. Patrick’s Day type green. I also used several SAB products for this card. The black and white DSP is the reverse of a sheet from the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper, another FREE SAB item.
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends. They were then die cut using the Ladybugs Dies. I have them early from a perk for being a Demonstrator. I raised the ladybug with dimensionals but glued down the flower.
I have a list of all of the colors of Stampin’ blends listed in the Supply List. Thank you for stopping by today.

I have received my preorder of the new releases for February that I have showing at the bottom of the post. One of my favorites, (WELL, truthfully I love all of them!), is the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. It is designed to match punches in the Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalogs. To showcase it I have a card I paired the DSP with an Annual Catalog stamp set.
I adore this DSP! It takes me back to the late 60’s when I had a pair of jeans that looked pretty much like this paper. Yikes! The DSP pairs with the Small Bloom Punch in the SAB catalog. It is going to carry over to the next Annual Catalog, so keep that in mind when choosing your SAB rewards!!
This card is for a young lady who loves cats and I was thinking of her when I was creating. So I paired a fun paper with the cute Nine Lives stamp set. It’s a simple card but with a layout that has unending possibilities.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please return tomorrow for another new project.

I am sharing one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration products today. It is the Kerchief Card Kit. Usually when I use these Kits from the catalogs, I add extra items in addition to the kit supplies. For these samples, I stuck strictly to the supplies given.
I did used products included in the kit, but I did not copy the cards in the brochure. They are similar, but I added and moved pieces around. Overall I give this kit a grade A! They were quick, easy, and fun to play with.
When I finish the other four, I will do my usual and add other items. I will share those with you as well and refer back to this post so you can compare.
I have taken the Paper Pumpkin kits on trips with me so I do not go into stamping withdrawal. This kit would be a great one to take as all you need are a pair of paper snips for the ribbon as an addition.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will come back for a new project on Monday! I am hoping for no rain this weekend. I hope your weekend goes as you want.

I am sharing the Painted Poppy Bundle today. I saw it at Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Atlanta last month, and I have seen other demonstrators’ cards. Playing with it myself was still amazing! The stamps and dies, as always, are awesome.
Poppies are very popular this year. I have been seeing them everywhere. I was looking at the little pocket calendars at Dollar Tree the other day and there were a couple with different poppy designs.
The border across the bottom is only half that size. I stamped it twice. For the large poppies, I die cut the solid flowers usig the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper. The coordinating color is Poppy Parade (wonder if that was planned a while back/) so of course my outlines are in that color.
The leaf is cut from Mossy Meadow, another coordinating color for the DSP. I secured it under the large flower and left the top part free to move around. The sentiment is from another new stamp set, Positive Thoughts. All of the sentiments are wonderful. I used Old Olive card stock as the dividing layer as well as the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend for the border flower stems. I liked the lighter color to pair with the Poppy Parade.
Thank you for stopping by today. I have a candy treat to share tomorrow.

Stampin’ Up! likes to promote the #simplestamping, or stamping for beginners. I love the look that simple stamping gives. It is not “PLAIN”. The simple stamping is more of limited product use, like a new stamper would have in their craft space.
Today’s card is a #simplestamping, but I do not think it is plain at all. I hope you will give this one a CASE and see what you come up with.
I love this card and how elegant it looks. With a rhinestone in the center of the dandelion, it would be perfect. But I wanted to stay with the definition of the simple stamping, which is Stamp, Paper, and Ink.
I used my Simply Scored to do the scoring around the centerpiece. You can use the new Paper Trimmer and get the same results. The score blade on the new trimmer is a wheel instead of a blade as the old trimmer had. It scores much deeper and would be a great double use of the trimmer. I used the Simply Scored before I thought of the new trimmer. I did try with the trimmer and it worked perfectly.
The only thing the centerpiece has that is not just stamped and layered is that it is raised using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Little Tip: I always place one in the center of a piece like this to keep the center from sagging. You don’t even have to remove the backing to stick the center one, just use it as a dimension.
Thank you for stopping by today!!
