I have quite a bit of different textures going on in today’s card. The idea continued to evolve as I was putting it together and I like the unusualness of the outcome. I hope you will as well.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
There is quite a lot of Foil happening on the card. I have used the Foil Frenzy DSP along with a layer of Silver Foil card stock. Not finished there, I added Copper and Silver embossing, and finished with Copper and Silver thread under the bottle layer. The photo really does not do it justice. So here is a close up section.
Message In A Bottle, 143707
From this photo you can see that I embossed the bottle in Silver. I then embossed the love notes in Copper. The background of the bottle is Pool Party Light Stampin’ Blend. The foil layer is Silver Foil Card stock.. The Foil Frenzy DSP is the Pool Party dotted one. And the sentiment is embossed with Copper and mounted on a Silver strip. To finish my metallic thread…… (a play on words there!) I added the Silver and Copper Thread behind the bottle layer.
With all of the metallic included here, I still like it and the simple bottle now really pops. I hope you like it too. The Message In A Bottle set and the Foil Frenzy DSP are both on the Retiring List. I truly love the Foil Frenzy paper! It is a perfect weight for quite a few different types of projects.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I very much appreciate your support and comments.
Another Paper Pumpkin Special: The March PP was so popular due to the special gift that it sold out. So Stampin’ Up! has offered a great deal to replace that. New Subscribers who sign up before April 10, will receive April and May for half price. So 2 months for the price of 1. A great deal. Use my link HERE, and enter the code: SAVEFIFTY0418
It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
For the second card using the You’ve Got This stamp set, I used almost the same products plus some DSP. I added the Delightful Daisy DSP, another favorite. It works perfectly with both the Peekaboo Peach, and Night of Navy (yesterday was Dapper Denim).
You’ve Got This, 139575
When I use DSP, I like to put a layer between it and the base layer. I don’t want it to fade into the base. Instead of Dapper Denim, I went with Night of Navy due to the little pieces of it in the floral DSP. Other than that, I used the same inks and ribbon. I left off the glitter dots from yesterday. I think the bow is more than enough for the decoration. As I said yesterday, this ribbon is a dream to work with. My bling for this card is that I went over the entire flower with Clear Wink of Stella. In person it adds quite a bit of shimmer.
I hope you like today’s card. It has more layers and a bit different layout. I hope I have I have given you pause in considering some of these retiring items. Please place your orders soon to insure that you get the items you want. You can click on any of the items and be taken directly to my online store, or click on the Shop button at the top of the page.
Thank you for stopping by today. Tomorrow I will be showcasing a different stamp set. So please check it out.

I am in love with the second Sale-A-Bration release Designer Series Paper named Springtime Foils. It is probably one of the most beautiful ever. And if you are into 3-D it is the perfect weight for boxes, etc. I have simply used one of the pretty pieces and lightly colored sections with the Stampin’ Blends in Light Old Olive. It colors wonderfully as well.
Lovely Wishes, 145924
Isn’t that paper gorgeous?? It comes with the silver embossed stems and leaves and the addition of the gold touches. I merely colored the leaves with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is from Lovely Wishes. I gold embossed it over the stamp, which seemed to mimic the paper design. Metallic paper is difficult to photograph. Especially when you do not have really good lighting. It is Gold Foil DSP behind the sentiment. And to finish it off, I added a Gold Metallic Shape.
I always feel like I am cheating a little bit when I do not stamp very much on a card. However, there is no way I could stamp and have it as beautiful as this DSP. This was a second release of SAB. Please do not forget that SAB ends on the 31st!! You don’t want to miss out on some of these great products.
I hope you hav a great day and will stop back tomorrow to see what I have for you. The complete supply list is at the bottom of the page.

I have another card made with the beautiful A Mother’s Flair stamp set. It is not a Mother’s Day card, just a focus on one of the stamps. And it is a really quick one as well.
A Mother’s Flair, 145905
This card is a great way to utilize the left over strips of Designer Series Paper. On this card I have used Naturally Eclectic. The arrows are just one of the strips of arrows. The blue piece is 2″ wide.
I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the stamp. I then took lighter shades of pink and green to fill in the flower stamped image. It is punched with the 2 ” circle punch and the Starburst punch.
Thank you very much for visiting today. I hope you will stop back tomorrow, as I will be participating in the Stampin’ Pretty Blog Hop. There will be a large number of great cards / 3-D for you to check out.

The blog title says it perfectly!! Why else would we send someone a card than to “Hope your day is wonderful”. This is another great sentiment from the A Mother’s Flair stamp set.
A Mother’s Flair, 145905
I hope you didn’t do a double take and think this is the same card I posted last Thursday. It is very similar and actually has the leftover parts I played with on that card. I love utilizing pieces that did not fit exactly on one card into another card where they work perfectly.
When you look at these colors together, they do not seem to work all that well. But when the Designer Series Paper has all of those colors in it, then it does. They go from “No Way!” to “Oh , that is cute”.
I have been boxing up part of my craft space to put in a new desk. In doing so, I failed to make a few cards ahead of time. Oops!!! That is why today’s post is a little late. Now I have to get back to it and clean up the rest so I can make cards for the rest of the week. There is also an InKing Royalty Blog Hop on Wednesday. Stay tuned for that because they are always fun and full of awesome ideas!
I realized during my boxing up that I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff!!! But I did get my new desk up and now have to put that section back together and then try to clean out the rest. I have a ton of craft supplies to donate to a Special Needs business near me.
Thank you so much for visiting with me tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed this sort of “Take Two” card using the same products. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

Life is indeed beautiful. It snowed here in the Atlanta area yesterday for the third time this winter. That is extremely unusual for us. And when I woke up and looked out the window it was just beautiful. Of course I did not have to get out in it since I am retired! I am sure some of my friends had a different viewpoint. So when I made this card the sentiment reminded me of my feelings earlier in the day.
A Mother’s Flair, 145905
I hope you love that sentiment as much as I do! It is perfect for so many occasions. I had to consider this stamp set for a bit, but I am so happy that I purchased it. On first glance it is a Mother’s Day set, and my Mom passed away many years ago. But I kept being drawn to the individual stamps. I finally gave in and I am so now in love with it. I already have a couple more cards planned using individual stamps.
I may have gone a little overboard with the different shapes. I tried just using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. But it made the pieces too large. So I had to rethink it and ended up using a variety of the layering pieces. I hope it gives you ideas for different cards though.
I hope you enjoyed my very bright card. Thank you very much for visiting today! The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
