I am CASEing my Stampin’ Up! Team Leader, Brian King, on today’s patchwork card. Brian has created several different cards using leftover strips of card stock. Since I have been cleaning lately, I found I had quite a lot of little strips of card stock and DSP to either throw away or use. I chose to use them of course.
A Good Day, 145873
And yes, that is the much used by me stamp set “A Good Day”. I cannot apologize though. It is a favorite and I keep going back to it when I am looking for something small. I did not want to overwhelm the quilted look layer, so I went with a cute little design and a simple sentiment.
To adhere the strips, I covered a piece of whisper white with the Multi-purpose Adhesive sheet. Then I just layed the strips down. Once I had the paper covered, I simply trimmed off the excess strips with my paper snips. The hardest part of this is deciding which strips to use and then the color to use as the background layer. I like those kind of difficulties. 🙂
The card base is the Tutti-Frutti Cards and Envelopes that are a Sale-A-Bration item. These are wonderful. I wish there would be something similar in the annual catalog. It makes putting together a great card with matching envelope a piece of cake.

I am doing a different look to one of the cutest sets in the Occasions Catalog. And Yes, I am referring to the A Good Day stamp set. I have used it quite a lot, but isn’t that why we purchase sets? I have definitely enjoyed this one!!
A Good Day, 145873
I CASED this card from a card I found when going through some old swap cards. I love finding inspiration in older cards. (And it justifies me having a bunch of stuff hanging around!) In truth though, it is another quick and easy card to make. So I hope you will CASE this one as well.
I stamped and colored with the Stampin’ Blends the cute little animals from the stamp set. I had already decided my second color was going to be Calypso Coral. So I gave each animal a touch of it and then used it as the scalloped circle color.
To give some definition to the Island Indigo base, I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool ( A Must Have tool !!) and scored around all four sides. Of course that didn’t seem to be enough. I then added the scores across the center. That made me happy and I was finished. Sometimes it is just the little things that finish a card.
Thank you for visiting today. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. I hope you like this card and will come back tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop.

I have done a little soft layering today. A bit of a different approach for me. I wanted this to be a softer card and it is that along with being just “less”. So very different than my normal.
Basket of Wishes, 142200
I really love this stamp set, Basket of Wishes. So many good things come in baskets. Especially back when I was a child. And as I said earlier, I wanted this to be a little softer look. So I went with the background stamp from Hello Friend, and then added the basket in front of it. The succulents fit perfectly in the basket. The fact that it is a photopolymer set is AWESOME ! I love how easy it is to layer with the see through photopolymer.
The soft suede makes the perfect color for the basket. I then used the Stamp ‘n Write Markers in Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzaz and Wild Wasabi to color the basket and the succulent plants. Super Easy!!
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you enjoyed this quick and simple card.
Time is running out to try the Paper Pumpkin for March!! And since it is the 5th Anniversary of Paper Pumpkin, there will be a little gift in the box as well. But you must be signed up by 11:59pm on the 10th to receive the March box. I hope you will give it a shot.

I have the matching partner to the Tutti Frutti Pinapple card from last week for you today. These are just so darn, quick, easy, and most of all they are super cute!
Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, 147242
Between the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack and the matching Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, there was nothing to do but add a sentiment. Of course the sentiment is from the stamp set Fruit Basket! I have made up a couple of gifts from these products. They are just perfect. And to top it off, they are full size cards and envelopes. So no problem in mailing them. Easy Peasy!!!
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will give these products a second look. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

I love cards with different folds! Today’s card sort of qualifies in that catagory. It is a scalloped circle card. You can make these with any die cut shape. This one is a cute little gift card.
Pop of Paradise, 141581
This little gift card, or it could be a little Random Act of Kindness card, is made using the Layering Circles Framelits. You fold your card stock, lay the die off the fold end (so that it isn’t cutting there), and VOILA! You have a circle card. How easy is that?? I then simple used the next two smaller scalloped circles to finish the card.
I hope you will give this technique a try! Let me know if you do please. I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede to color the pineapple and give it some depth.
Thank you for visiting today. I appreciate your visits and comments very much. I hope you have an awesome weekend! The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

This Flying Home stamp set is just adorable. At first glance I thought it was too similar to some other ones. But then I thought of each of the stamps in a small frame. A perfect Springtime sampler. I did not go that route today though. This is just a sweet little 4 X 4 card that would be great for almost any occasion.
Flying Home, 145929
Of course, the perfect companion to this cute stamp set are the Stampin’ Blends. I know I have been utilizing them quite a lot. They are just so darn easy to use so I find myself reaching for them over and over.
I kept this card super simple. It is a 4 X 4 with Night of Navy as the base, and navy layered with Whisper White is all I used. Of course I played with a variety of colors in my flowers and birdhouse. 🙂
This card would be perfect for a Stampin’ Up! Party. It would be easy for any level of stamper. If you do not have a demonstrator I would love to talk with you and help you with your stamping needs.
Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you have an awesome weekend and will stop back next week. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
