Simply Amazing

This card is “amazingly” simple and quick!  Did you catch that?  It actually is true.  Other than cleaning the stamp to change colors, it is a couple of stampings and done.  Take a look and you decide .

Stampin' Up!, Amazing You, Heartfelt Blooms, Jackie Beers

Amazing You, 147215

Do you see what I mean?  This was so quick that multiples of it would be a piece of cake.  I simply stamped the Heartfelt Blooms stamp in Smoky Slate, cleaned it, and then stamped in Night of Navy.  The “Amazing” is the thinlit die  from Celebrate You Thinlits.   I did use the Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet, which turns the words into a sticker.  A definite Must Have in your tool box of supplies.  No more making a mess with glue for detailed dies. WooHoo !!

I do have to admit to CASEing this from a card I found in my swap box.  It came from one of the ladies in my Stamp Club in one of our swaps.  I love going through these occasionally.  They are perfect for giving inspiration.

COLOR COMBINATION:

The center of the flower is the White Perfect Accents.  It fit “perfectly”  (wow, I am on a roll today) with the muted tone of the Smoky Slate.  And a tip for you:  you can color these with the Stampin’ Blends to get any color accessory that you need.  How awesome is that?  To finish off this cute card I added the Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon with just a little knot.

Thank you so much for visiting today!  I greatly appreciate it and your comments.  I hope you have a great day!  The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post.

Alternative Lots To Love Box

I have another alternative for the Lots To Love Box framelits.  There are quite a few varieties out there.  Mine is very simple, and easy to make.  I dressed it up as a masculine gift.  Although after you look at it, think of a baby crib.  I cannot get that thought out of my head and will have to give that a try next.

Stampin' Up! Lots To Love Box, Jackie Beers, stampinup, lots to love, lots to love framelits, jackiebeers

Lots to Love Box Framelits, 145653

My little box fits four of the Merci Chocolates.  It is  made from one cutting of the Lots To Love Box.  To make the intended box you need to make two cuts with the framelits.  I used the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper and the Tailored Tag Punch to create the belly band for my treat holder.  The sentiment is from the Southern Serenade stamp set.

COLOR COMBINATION:

Directions:

  • Cut one of the Lots To Love Box
  • Cut off 1 1/4″ from the straight end of the box
  • Score at 5/8′ from the same end (straight end)
  • Fold and burnish on the score line, EXCEPT the one closest to the rounded end
  • Cut the flap pieces at the straight end to match the ones on the rounded end.
  • Tape box together.

  • Belly Band is 8 X 2, and scored at 2 78, 3 1/2, 6 1/2 ,7 1/8.
  • Fold and burnish the lines and dry fit it around the box.
  • Secure the ends on the back since the front decoration is not large enough to cover the seam.
  • Decorate as you like

I hope this is easy to understand.  If not, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I am definitely not my friend Julie DiMatteo when it comes to 3-D items!!

I hope you have an AWESOME rest of your day!

Happy Life !

I have done a little soft layering today.  A bit of a different approach for me.  I wanted this to be a softer card and it is that along with being just “less”.  So very different than my normal.

Stampin' Up!, Basket of Wishes, Jackie Beers, stampinup, jackiebeers

Basket of Wishes, 142200

I really love this stamp set, Basket of Wishes.  So many good things come in baskets.  Especially back when I was a child.  And as I said earlier, I wanted this to be a little softer look.  So I went with the background stamp from Hello Friend, and then added the basket in front of it.  The succulents fit perfectly in the basket.  The fact that it is a photopolymer set is AWESOME !  I love how easy it is to layer with the see through photopolymer.

COLOR COMBINATION:

The soft suede makes the perfect color for the basket.  I then used the Stamp ‘n Write Markers in Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzaz and Wild Wasabi to color the basket and the  succulent plants.  Super Easy!!

Thank you for visiting today!  I hope you enjoyed this quick and simple card.

Time is running out to try the Paper Pumpkin for March!!  And since it is the 5th Anniversary of Paper Pumpkin, there will be a little gift in the box as well.  But you must be signed up by 11:59pm on the 10th to receive the March box.  I hope you will give it a shot.

For You!

Over the weekend I made a trip to Alabama with a group of the InKing Royalty Team Members to a Stampin’ Up! event.  We had a blast, got some great project ideas, and did a wonderful card swap.  So today I am sharing the card I made for the swap.  You know I like cards a little more on the simple side.  This one is that to a T!

Stampin' Up!, Blooms & Wishes, Jackie Beers, stampinup, blooms and wishes, jackiebeers

Blooms & Wishes, 141784

If the stamped flowers look somewhat familiar, it is because I used them on a little different card last week.  You can see that post HERE.   This is such a great stamp set for so many reasons.  For me, it is mostly because it is just so easy.  You can do any color, any combination of the flowers, and have a really cute card made up pretty quickly.  I hope you will consider this stamp set to try yourself.

COLOR COMBINATION:

The only additions to my color combination is a little Calypso Coral for the daffodil centers and Enamel Dots for the Rich Razzleberry flower centers.  I had to give it a little bit of dimension. I think this card would work with so  many different sentiments.

Thank you for visiting today!  I appreciate you doing so and I love to read your comments.  The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post.

SPECIAL NOTE: With Sale-A-Bration, it is the perfect time to consider becoming a Paper Pumpkin customer.  Or at least try a one month subscription.  With the $20.00 price (and the 5th Anniversary FREE gift enclosed) you are almost halfway to a FREE SAB product.  Add the cost of the Blooms & Wishes stamp set (21.00) a package of card stock and an ink pad…..and you have the $50.00 needed to get a free item.  A super deal!!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sweet Strawberries

I have the matching partner to the Tutti Frutti Pinapple card from last week for you today.  These are just so darn, quick, easy, and most of all they are super cute!

Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, 147242

Between the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack and the matching Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes, there was nothing to do but add a sentiment. Of course the sentiment is from the stamp set Fruit Basket!  I have made up a couple of gifts from these products.  They are just perfect.  And to top it off, they are full size cards and envelopes.  So no problem in mailing them.  Easy Peasy!!!

Thank you for visiting today!  I hope you will give these products a second look.  The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

The Good Stuff

I am feeling the Spring in the air today.  So I  have made another flowery card.  Once the Daffodils begin blooming, I start looking for other flowers (and my antihistamines!).  The one for today is a quick and easy card using the Blooms & Wishes stamp set from the Annual Catalog.

Stampin' Up!, Blooms & Wishes, Jackie Beers, stampinup, blooms and wishes, jackiebeers

Blooms & Wishes, 141784

The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.  Instead of adding a layer in the center with the sentiment, I cut an oval using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  I cut the oval  from copy paper and used a repositionable adhesive to hold it in place while I stamped.  How easy is that?

My colors were mostly from the Brights Collection, with a couple of Enamel Shapes added in.  A quick and easy card the could have such a variety of uses.

Thank you for visiting today!  I hope you enjoyed my bright springtime card.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I love to hear from you.  The supplies I used are at the bottom of the post.
