The card I am sharing today is quick, easy, and adaptable. I made a couple of this card with different occasions. I only put the sentiment on the outside for this one. It is the Thank You card. I also used it as a Birthday and a Sympathy card. This stamp set is simply a wonderful set to have in your stash.
This stamp set is Inspiring Iris. It is a two step stamp. Which makes giving it the color you want so very easy. I stamped the image three times in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped the flower in Highland Heather and the leaves and stems with Old Olive. And that is it!
For the background I used the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder on Old Olive card stock. I thought it paired perfectly with the flowers. I love using an embossing folder in place of Designer Series Paper as a change up of my cards. I know I have been overwhelming you with DSP lately.
The “Thanks” in the upper left corner is a stamp in the Inspiring Iris stamp set. I added a pearl by the sentiment and on the center of the flowers just for a bit of extra texture and a little bling.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.

I have another card with the Nautical Theme for you today. I shared one a couple of weeks ago. You can see that card HERE. I have to take a break from the holiday themes occasionally for birthdays and other card needs.
The Designer Series Paper is the star of this card, as is the case with quite a few of my cards. This one is the Come Sail Away DSP. I paired it with the Sailing Home stamp set for the lighthouse. The large SMILE comes from the Daisy Lane stamp set.
The measurements are:
5 1/2 X 8 1/2, 5 3/8 X 4 1/8, 5 1/4 X 4 for the base and main layers
4 7/8 X 2 1/8 , 4 3/4 X 2 for the rope DSP layer
3 3/4 X 2 1/8, 3 1/4 X 2 for the lighthouse layer
Thank you for stopping by today. Please return on Monday for a week of more new projects. I hope you have a great weekend.

I played with two gorgeous products to create today’s card. Actually there were three products. I began with the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then I paired it with the So Many Stars Bundle. The third piece was the Copper Foil. The final product is a card that simply shines.
Actually the shine was almost too much for the camera! The stars on the right are die cut with the Copper Foil. And as a bonus, I have all of the open stars leftover. So I have plenty to add to other upcoming projects since I made a dozen of this card!
The DSP is the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP. It has the copper running through it as well. I backed the DSP with Very Vanilla card stock and used a die from the Merry Christmas Dies to cut out the sentiment. It is just fine standing alone with that vanilla backing to ground it. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.

A challenge I recently participated in was to do a Single Layer Card. That means to stamp directly on the folded base of the card. You can add an embellishment, but no other layers. These can be hard to do when you are accustomed to multiples layers plus a sentiment layer. I found a great stamp set to use though.
I chose the Memorable Mosaic stamp set and used the Weeping Willow looking tree. I love the definition these stamps give. I stamped the top with Mint Macaron Ink and it looks like it is two different shades of color. It is not, it is the stamp itself. LOVE!!!! The tree trunk is the same way. It is stamped in Soft Suede Ink.
The sentiment is from the stamp set Here’s A Card. I love that wording. I believe I will turn this card into a 3 X 3 with the same sentiment and use them as Random Acts of Kindness cards to hand out.
The only embellishments are the Noble Peacock Embellishments. The color compliments the Mint Macaron of the leaves.
Thank you for stopping by today! Don’t forget the Flash Sale that is today only!!! You can go directly to my online store HERE.

Sunday was the Fall card swap I do with my Stamp Club. I made tags for the little baskets everyone places the cards into. My favorite suite of products for Fall, and maybe in the Holiday Catalog, is the Gather Together products. Of course that is what I used to make the name tags.
I am not very good at the infinity shots that some take of a group of cards and other products they have mass produced. But I think you can see how cute these are.
I really adore the leaves from the Gathering Leaves Dies, part of the Gather Together Bundle. They are perfectly sized, but best of all they emboss and cut at the same time. Whoever invented dies that do that are some of my favorite people!! I cut the three different sizes in different colors. I used Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzaz for the leaves.
The sentiment is from the Gather Together stamp set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock. I chose all of the colors from that wonderful plaid designer series paper. The shape of the sentiment is from the Story Label Punch. I also used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch for the top of the tag, but then I covered it up with the leaves.
The names were printed off the computer and then layered on Pretty Peacock card stock. The finishing touch was the piece of Burlap Ribbon with a Linen Thread tiny bow.
The tag itself is 2 X 5, and the DSP is 1 7/8 X 4 7/8. The name layer depended on the size of the name. 🙂 I see these as being re-made for a Thanksgiving party as place tags or for food names. The thought is to just turn the placement of the decorations. Make them 4 X 5 folded in half to 2 X 5 and sitting on the table with the decorations in top left corner or across the top. I will post a picture of that once I get them made. This is in my brain right now!
Before I go, have you seen the extra post I did yesterday about the upcoming Flash Sale? Here are the flyers with the stamp sets that will be included in the sale. 15% off is a pretty good deal in my book!
