Before I share my card, I want to give you a heads up. I will have three cards to share this week. They are the cards I made with my Stamp Club on Sunday. But after these I will absent for a couple of weeks. I am having a minor surgery this week. So Prayers are appreciated!!! The downside is that my stamping room is in the basement and I will not be able to handle the steps immediately. Please don’t give up on me, I will return before you really miss me!
Now for a Bold card today.
I really love the Dressed To Impress Suite of products! I am not a Bold Lipstick sort of person, but I do really Love the Idea of the sentiment!. Does that make sense?
I paired these stamps with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper which is part of the suite. I intended to use the opposite side that is Lovely Lipstick with white outlines of lipstick cases. That was the plan right up until I flipped it over to add adhesive and saw the flowers. I had layed it on top of the other layers and it just seemed a much better fit. I really like the Scripty Embossing Folder showing behind the strip of DSP.
I cut the image layers using the fabulous Stitched So Sweetly Dies. They are awesome! You get six shapes like I used and four sentiment shapes. I really hope these carry over to the next catalog. They are so versatile.
Thank you for stopping in today. I will go ahead and schedule the other posts for Wednesday and Friday. Then I will be absent for a bit. I am sure I will get restless and have to get down to my craft room sooner rather than later!!

This equals over $230.00 value + business supplies added in at no cost. That is an awesome deal!! And you never have to purchase another thing. But while you are trying it out, and you have until the end of July before your trial period runs out, you are part of my Team! As well as my upline’s team. We have Facebook groups to share our projects and assist each other. I would love to talk with you about this opportunity.
I have a mixture of colors and textures for you today. I have been seeing quite a few cards with small squares layered on top of each other. That gave me the idea for this card. Although it is not squares at all.
My card and the square idea resulted in rectangle shapes. I paired the Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle dies (the largest and next size down) with the second larger of the sentiment dies. This set of dies is so versatile because of those varied size sentiment dies! I am in love with them. They are actually a Bundle with the So Sentimental stamp set.
I paired the Witty-cisms stamp set with the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper to get some bright colors. The baby carriage is colored in softer colors though. I also paired all of this with the Metallic Bakers Twine Sequin Combo from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. The two baker’s twines and the sequins are FREE with a $50.00 purchase.
Thank you so much for checking in this week. I hope you enjoyed the projects.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s InKing Royalty Blog Hop. There were some great ideas for birthday cards. You can see my post by clicking HERE. And you can go thru the full hop from my page.
Today I am sharing the Morning Star stamp set. It is a sweet stamp set that pairs with the Stitched Stars Dies that were part of the Holiday Catalog. The stamp set they were paired with in that catalog retired, but the dies carried on. I love that Stampin’ Up! is extending the life of dies and punches. That is so nice on our pocket books! Here is today’s card.
The flowers on the card are the morning glory flowers and vines. Some may consider them weeds actually. I always thought they were pretty first thing in the morning. I used the Rococo Rose for the flowers and Pear Pizzaz for the vines. They are my flowers and don’t have to be the correct color. I love the Rococo Rose.
I used the flowers as background for one of the larger of the Stitched Stars dies. The center star is two sizes smaller. I stamped the star stamp with the Rococo Rose as well. The stars are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.
I have loved the Scalloped Linen Ribbon since it debuted. I just never seem to have the proper place for it. Today’s project is Perfect!!! I paired the ribbon with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. I punched out the sentiment, which is from the stamp set. I also used the ribbon slot that is part of the punch. There are guides on the bottom of the punch on each end of the slot to assist you in lining it up. I was very pleased at how easy it worked. I usually have a backing for my sentiment layers. With the ribbon slides and the sentiment like a buckle, I did not feel it needed a backing. You will see me using that punch a lot more now that I have played with it!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you liked today’s card and will return tomorrow for another one.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate birthdays, so prepare yourself for a wonderful mix of celebratory cards. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My card is for celebrating. I have made it as a birthday card, but it would work for a variety of events. I cased it from page 50 of the Mini Catalog. The thing that first caught my eye, was the Circle Tab Punch for the pull out tab. I have not used it lately except for tabs for my catalogs. The thought of using it on a card again was exciting. I do love my punches.
And here is a picture of the inside of the card.
In the catalog, this card is an invitation. I rarely need invitations, but loved the pull out element. I liked the card and layout so much I actually made two of these cards . Both are using the Under The Umbrella Bundle of products. The only change in the two are the colors I used. Here is the second version.
For both cards, I used the Under The Umbrella Bundle. This bundle is a stamp set and punch. I also used the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper for the umbrella on the pull out piece. The flower is punched from the Pleased As Punch DSP also using the Small Bloom Punch from Sale-A-Bration.
After I adhered the pocket together, I used the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners of the pocket. For the purple card, I also rounded the corners of the insert. I did not do that on the Pool Party version. I think I like the insert rounded best.
The umbrella on the inside of the Pool Party card is the multi colored flower one. The “Love” tag on both is from the Cup Of Cheer Dies ( which happily carried over!) I love that tag. And the next SAB release for March has a new matching stamp set for those dies! Woohoo!
This card is actually very quick to do. I have two pictures and directions for cutting the angle. I will place that beneath the Blog Hop List. Some people may not be interested in the how to make it. Shocking I know!!LOL!! The supplies I have listed are for the purple version.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Robin Myren at Songbird Designs by Robin. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Card Directions: The card stock is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, like a normal card. After scoring, but before folding, place on the trimmer with the scored line on the cutting track. Use the ruler on the blade holder and score down 1″. Turn the card the opposite direction and cut from the end of the first cut across the card. You are removing a 1″ section from the top of the front piece of your card. Next, angle the cut edge up above the cutting track to that 1″ mark on the cutter. See picture:
You can see from the picture what I meant about cutting the 1″ section away from the top of that right side. After getting the top edge lined up at 1″ mark, make sure the score line cut intersection is on the cutting track. Now cut that piece off. See picture.
Now you have your angled card. I used Tear & Tape around the bottom and outside edge (place it on the top layer). The inside white layer measures 3 3/4 X 4. 4 is the height. Place that piece inside the pocket, well away from the tape, when securing the card. This insures you have a little extra room for ease of inserting and removing the tabbed card. If I have confused you…..please contact me and I will be happy to explain further.

I am once again sharing Sale-A-Bration items. I believe this year’s choices are awesome. Today I am showing the Thoughtful Blooms and the matching Small Bloom Punch. The punch is going to carry over to the annual catalog. But you can get it now and it can be Free! Woohoo!!
I have a little bit of an unusual combination for this card. The background designer series paper is the Come Sail Away DSP. I wanted a matching green that was not flowery. This piece fit the idea I had perfectly.
The Whisper White layer is first Die Cut using the die from the Nature’s Thoughts dies. They match the Positive Thoughts Stamp set from the Mini Catalog. The dies were part of the February Special Release AND they will carry over!! Another WooHoo!!!
I stamped the leaves and flowers in two greens, Daffodil Delight and added Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. I stamped extra flowers and punched them out using the Small Bloom Punch. The striped flowers are glued down and the others are either adhered with a glue dot to the center or with a small dimensional.
The tag is the new Label Me Lovely Punch paired with the Darling Label Punch. I like for tags to have a backing so went with the two layer tag. I added the Pineapple Punch ribbon to ground the label. I had already adhered the right hand flower and split the ribbon to go around it. I looked at it and decided that it worked just fine like that.
The rhinestones do not show up very well in the photo. There is one large rhinestone on the left side striped flower and tiny ones on the two flowers on the tag. I had to give it a little bit of bling!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop!!

Today I am sharing one of the New Release Sale-A-Bration Items. It is subtle on the card, and that is a great definition of the item. Have you guessed what it is? Yes, It is the So Very Vellum. And it is more beautiful in person. I love the soft colors.
The vellum comes with this embossing already done for you. All of the sheets have the same embossing. The vellum I chose for the background is the Soft Sea Foam one. I used the Highland Heather Vellum for the flowers. They are die cut using the Dies from Forever Blossoms Bundle. The embossed vellum gives an added definition to the petals.
The stamp is from the Forever Blossoms stamp set. It also is die cut using the bundled dies. That is such a great focal point for any design you could come up with.
I stamped in Smoky Slate Ink and then colored with Soft Sea Foam and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends. For the bow, I used the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. It is simply wonderful to work with. I don’t usually do multiple loops with ribbon, but this is so silky and thin I went for it.
Thank you for stopping in today. I have new projects each day to share with you. And this coming Wednesday is the InKing Royalty Blog Hop, you will not want to miss that.
Sale-A-Bration is heading towards the final month. Please don’t miss out on a great opportunity to get an awesome amount of product for very little money! And the fun of joining my team, as well as InKing Royalty. We share a great community of stampers and you could be part of it!!
