Today’s card is perfect for what I am going to be doing later this morning. Today is the day that Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get to register for the 30th Anniversary Convention. WooHoo!! What is perfect is that I started today’s card without really thinking about that. The subconscious at work!
Apron Of Love, 145835
I was thrilled when this Apron Of Love set, with it’s matching Framelits, carried over to the new catalog. It has so much that can be related to an apron. To me, it brings back fond memories of an Aunt trying to teach me to cook. (Unfortunately it did not take!) I also remember my first Stampin’ Up! party/workshop I attended and the demonstrator wearing the SU apron. And yes, I do have a SU apron.
I made my apron a stamping apron and you can see the card sticking out of the pocket. It is paired with the Garden Impressions 6X6 Designer Series Paper. The colors are gorgeous in this DSP.
Yes, I do Love What I Do!!! And I hope you are inspired by today’s card. I have listed all of the supplies at the bottom of the post. This would have been a perfect card when the last Join Promotion was going on. Oh Well, it fits with my excitement of registering for OnStage. I get to hang out and stamp with my fellow demonstrators from around the country, and some from around the world!
Thank you for visiting today. I greatly appreciate each time you check out my posts.
I was so excited when I saw this typewriter set in the new Annual Catalog. It reminded me of a favorite from a few years ago. I have made several Thank You 3X3 cards with it that I have not shown here. So today I have a full size card to share.
P.S. You’re The Best, 146516
I used only the stamps included in the stamp set. I love being able to complete a card with only one stamp set. The background blue layer is Balmy Blue stamped with Balmy Blue Ink. The blue of the center is Balmy Blue Ink applied with an Aqua Painter.
I stamped the typewriter and then used a mask to place over it to stamp the flowers. One flower is stamped and fussy cut out to give some depth. They were all colored using Stampin’ Write Markers.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s Blog Hop card as well. Please be sure and check back on Monday, but also next Wednesday is the InKing Royalty Blog Hop. There will be lots more great ideas for you.
I commented in a post from last week that I love punches. Today’s card is definitely a Punch Card. I used three different punches for this one. There are an unusual mix of punches as well. I hope you will see the cuteness and humor in it.
Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, 146926
This card could also be a Share What You Love Designer Series Paper card! I know I tend to use this Specialty DSP quite often. But if you had it in your hands, you would use it as well. It is absolutely AWESOME!
The cat holding the balloons is perfect for me because I love cats. When I was looking for my focal point, other than the DSP, I was gazing over all of my punches and landed on the cat. Then I saw the Balloon Bouquet Punch and knew that was the combination I needed. The adorable little sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings. I always hate to lose great sentiment stamps like Teeny Tiny Wishes, which just retired, but this set is perfect.
All of the DSP used is from the Share What You Love DSP. The banner and background are the two sides of one sheet. The multicolored circles are from a different sheet. I never throw away DSO scraps and this is a perfect card to use them on.
Thank you for visiting today! I very much appreciate it. All of the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. Don’t forget about the Bonus Days, details below. This DSP would get you halfway to the needed $50.00 for a bonus coupon. Yes that is a tad expensive, but it is card stock weight and 24 sheets. A normal pack of DSP is only 12 sheets.
I debuted the Blended Seasons Bundle during the July InKing Royalty Blog Hop. You can see that card HERE. This stamp set is only available during August and While Supplies Last! The stamps are perfect for Spring/Summer, Fall, and Christmas. But the Framelits are spectacular. They match a few of the stamps but the best part are the three layers that are stitched! They are stitched inside the cutting line and leave stitching around the outside of the cut out. It’s a super look! Take a look at today’s Fall inspired card.
Blended Seasons Bundle, 149894
I used one of the layering dies from the matching framelits so you can see the stitching. The background is the Subtle Embossing Folder. The leaves are part of the Blended Seasons set as well as the Die Cut leaf.
I stamped the leaves in Cherry Cobbler Ink and then used the Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color the leaves. The sentiment is from the precious Host Stamp Set – Very Vintage.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend and will return to see my Monday project. All of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.
Don’t forget about Bonus Days!!! For every $50.00 you spend (at one time) during August, you will receive a coupon code worth $5.00 to use in September. It’s like getting paid to shop!
I am finally using the gorgeous purples that were part of the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp. I have used touches previously, but this card is “PURPLE” !
Tea Room Bundle, 148410
I was not really over the moon about this bundle until I began seeing the Framelit my sentiment is cut from. Then I took a closer look at the entire set and was sold. I adore the sentiments and the framelits. The cute little cup is perfect as well.
I wanted the sentiment and it’s frame to be the focal point so I really did not want a bright DSP to take away from it. Then I thought of the Tufted Embossing Folder and knew that was the right touch. Of course I had to add a few pearls to highlight the tufting.
Thank you for visiting today! I really appreciate that you take the time to stop by and check out my projects.
Bonus Days are back!!! For every $50.00 you spend during August, you will receive a Coupon Code worth $5.00 that you can spend in September. Woohoo, FREE stuff!!
I have found myself using quite a bit more Designer Series Paper in the last few months than I ever have. I am not sure why, but I am loving all of the DSP in the new Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!. They do know how to pick beautiful paper. Today’s card is carrying on that trend. I have used the Tropical Escape DSP.
Tropical Chic Bundle, 148339
Since this DSP debuted I have used more Blushing Bride card stock than in the last several years. Suddenly it is perfect to pair with several different colors. Here is my color combination for today. It came from the DSP of course.
The Granny Apple Green layer is the Bokah Dots stamp set. I love the look of texture it gives! For the flower, I used the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker to color the entire flower. I then took the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Marker and lightly went around the edges and the inner lines. Mango Melody is the perfect bright color to compliment the others. The sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade as well and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. The edge is also from the Poppy Parade marker. I simple ran the side of the brush tip around the edge of the cut out. Easy Peasy! Having the matching Framelits for this stamp set makes this a very quick card. I love that….
MEASUREMENTS:
Base Card of Blushing Bride is 4 1/4 X 11
Shaded Spruce layer is 5 1/4 X 4
DSP layer is 5 3/8 X 3 7/8
Blushing Bride small layer is 3 5/8 X 2 1/2
Bokah Dots layer is 3 1/2 X 2 3/8
