I have a very different card for you today. It is quite different from my normal style. I have layers and layers of die cuts. This bundle of products lends itself perfectly to this style of card. So I had to give it a try.
See what I mean??? Very unlike my normal card. But I am happy with this one. The products are the Sea of Textures and the Under The Sea matching Dies. They were previously a bundle, but carried over to this current annual catalog and are no longer at the 10% bundle discounted price. They are definitely still a great deal though.
I chose “water” colors of Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party card stock to make this card. I added in some Soft Suede and Sahara Sand as well.
I love this sentiment! What a great one for encouragement for a graduate or someone headed to a new job or off to college. I paired it with the Story Label and Timeless Label punches. My sweet friend Julie DiMatteo is who showed me how well these two punches layer together.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back on Monday for more new projects.

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “It’s the Sentiment That Counts” – showcasing new or favorite sentiments as the focal point of their project. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
When I saw the theme for this month’s blog hop, I knew immediately the sentiment I would be showcasing. As I have gotten older I realize how fortunate I am in so many ways. One of those things I include is the stamping community of course. In that regard this sentiment speaks to me.
My Thankful sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set. It carried over to the new annual catalog and I was so happy! The new Gather Together stamp set in the Holiday Catalog pairs perfectly with it , as does the Come Gather Designer Series Paper.
As I generally do, I chose my colors from the designer series paper. Pretty Peacock is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I love how well is pairs with Mint Macaron. Looking at them separately you would not think so. I also added Sahara Sand for the pitcher and the flecks in the bouquet.
The greenery is from the Bouquet Bunch Dies. The pearls around the edges of the Stitched Rectangles are our basic Pearl colored with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I hope you will give this a try. Surprisingly they dry almost immediately.
The bit of shimmer ribbon is the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon. I added a Linen Thread bow to tie in to the Sahara Sand pitcher.
Thank you for looking at my project. I really appreciate you stopping by and I would love to see what you think.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share “My Favorite Season” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
I have what I consider a very Clean card to share today. To me, Clean means it doesn’t have much going on. I kept looking at the card wondering what it needed or what I should add. I didn’t want to leave it like this. But then I decided anything I added would not work. So here is a bit of a different look for me.
Can you believe there is No Designer Series Paper? I was shocked myself! LOL!!! I have been intending to use this die for some time. I saw another card with the flowers created as I have done. I apologize that I cannot remember who created it!! But ever since then I have wanted to do this.
Creating the added color in the flower is very simple. I cut the design from the top layer in the Bermuda Bay Card Stock. I pushed out and saved all of the petals. I then did the same with a piece of So Saffron Card Stock. I adhered the top layer to the card base. ( I do love the look of Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay!) All I did to adhere the petals was put just a dot of Multipurpose Glue in the slot and lay the petal inside. I had my paper piercer ready in case I needed to slide the petal around at all.
The sentiment really hit home with me. I have been trying to grow my Stampin’ Up! Team and have friends who tell me that I can do it. One especially is helping me come out of my “norm” and be more creative in my plans, so this sentiment was spoke to me. I layered the Story Label and Timeless Label punches.
The only accessories that I added for this card was the pearls at the center of each flower. I felt like it needed more but just couldn’t think of anything that would Help, as opposed to being Too Much. So here you have it. A Clean card from me.
Thank you for stopping in today. I know it is a Holiday and some of you will be working anyway. I had one of those jobs that didn’t take off for weekends and Holidays. I hope you all have a good day though.

I was so happy when Fable Friends carried over to the new Annual Catalog. It reminds me of the childrens fairy tales of my youth. Another of our Facebook challenges last week was simple an Animal. I debated for just a minute and then went with the Goose from Fable Friends.
I paired a couple of stamp sets to make this card. I love that the Goose is wearing a raincoat, so that was my starting point. I wanted to give her a bright and cheery coat to wear in the rain.
I paired High Tide to get the puddled water and the grass. The rain came from Birthday Backgrounds, and the sentiment from Love What You Do.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Framelits for the sign. This is the trick again of cutting it out with the die leaving the excess length towards one end. Then re-inserting it to the point you need for the proper length. The stitching makes this so easy to do, as you simply press the stitches back onto the die. That way you know it is lined up properly.
Thank you for stopping in today. Please return on Monday for another new project.

I have really enjoyed playing with the stamp set Enjoy Life. The sentiments are spot on and the images are great for encouragement and sports. We can all use those, or at least I can. I must have subconsciously been thinking of The Tour De France when I made this card. LOL!!
Actually, this was for one of the challenges while Brian King was away on our Facebook group. It was titled Transportation. But it does totally fit the Tour De France.
The Swirl & Curls Embossing Folder seems to be a perfect match for the bicycle. Like the wind and he is speeding along! The color pairing is a bit different. I just played around and came up with Merry Merlot and Pool Party. I never would have thought to pair these two. I like to peruse my ink pads and look across them for different combinations.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please return tomorrow for another new project.

I am not sure why masculine cards are , or at least seem to be, hard to make. What if masculine cards are our everyday cards just in a different color? I believe the project I have for you today is one of those cards. It does not scream masculine, but the colors I chose lean that direction.
This is a really quick card to make. The longest time part is the embossed basket weave. And now after my opening paragraph, I can see this done in lighter colors and perfect for anyone.
I am not sure why I got on the masculine talking point. Maybe because this card was intended for a male??? Who knows with me. But I hope I have given you food for thought.
Thank you for stopping by today! I really appreciate it and hope you will return tomorrow for another new project.
