You Are Amazing

I have another quick and easy card for you today.  The sets I have used are older, but wonderful, stamps that I have not utilized in a while.  So I dusted them off and came up with this card

All Things Thanks, 143097

This is such a sweet card and takes only a couple of minutes and minimum product to complete.  The color choice came from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack.  It has such unique patterns and is a group of the new InColors for 2017-2019.

The base and Ink are Dapper Denim with the variegated piece of DSP.  I bordered the DSP with a layer of Whisper White card stock and then bordered the Whisper White stamped piece with Dapper Denim card stock.  The flowers are from Flower Shop stamp set and have a matching punch.  I just stamped the center one with full strength Dapper Denim ink and then the other two are stamped after stamping off once.  If you haven’t tried that technique it is a great way to give some depth to your stamped collage type areas.

The sentiment is from All Things Thanks set.  Most of the sentiments in the set are a variation of Thank You, except for this one.  I use it frequently!  And to finish off the card, I added Clear Faceted Gems to the center of the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  The supplies are listed again at the bottom and clicking on a photo will take you directly to my Online Store.

Christmas In July Card

I am so excited about this Christmas set Sneak Peak!  The card I made today is using the Carols Of Christmas set.  It will be in the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  As a Demonstrator I was allowed to preorder it.  And it is also part of the Christmas in July Special (see the note at the bottom of the post) for anyone signing up this month to be a demonstrator.  No more suspense, here is a few pieces of that stamp set.

Carols of Christmas, 144804

Isn’t this such a sweet card?  And so quick and easy to do.  The most time in making the card was adding the layers.  My color inspiration came from the DSP, as usual.  This is the Be Merry Designer Series Paper that is in the current catalog.  It is a must have for Christmas cards this year.  And to deflect from all the Cherry Cobbler, I added Garden Green to contrast.

COLOR COMBINATION:

I know I am super excited to see the 2017 Holiday Catalog.  And I hope you are as well after seeing just a few of the stamps fro this set.  If you do not currently have a demonstrator, please contact me and I will make sure you receive one of the catalogs.

Coffee With Friends

I don’t even drink coffee and I am in love with this new Coffee Cafe Suite!  Everything in the suite is just wonderful.  And it’s the little things!  The Designer Series Paper is beautiful, the matching framelits are a must have.  I have used the little tag,( I actually think it may be a tea bag!), several times to attach a tag to a little card or gift.  And I know we have had coffee sets from Stampin’ Up! before, but this one is just at at the top of the scale.  So enough of that, here is the card I made.

Coffee Cafe Bundle, 145331

My color inspiration for this card came from this DSP.  As I mentioned in my comments above, everything in this suite of items is wonderful, and the DSP is no exception.  This paper I used is probably my favorite of the DSP pack. And gave me the color combination.

I did this card with my Stamp Club on Sunday and one of the ladies commented that she would have never put these two colors together.  I responded with “I would not have either” it was the DSP’s fault!!

To give some extra color to the open portion of Soft Sky card stock, I used the coffee mark from Timeless Texture stamp set and stamped in Soft Sky Ink. The coffee cup is stamped in Soft Sky with the lid stamped in Pear Pizzazz.  They were cut out with the matching dies in the Framelits set.  The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.  The one thing I would change is the little heart stopper in the lid.  I cut it out in Soft Sky card stock and you really cannot see it.  As a redo I would use the Early Espresso or Crumb Cake for that.

The products I used to day are listed at the bottom of this post.  You can click on any item and be taken directly to my online store.

Pink Ribbon

The set I used today is the Ribbon Of Courage set.  It is an awesome set for so many reasons.  For me, it is the versatility of the solid ribbon.  Almost every medical issue has a colored ribbon to bring awareness.  With this solid ribbon you can make an appropriate card for any need.  My card for today is a pink ribbon.

Ribbon of Courage, 143855

The sentiment is from the Ribbon of Courage set as well.  I think the sentiment is perfect for all of us every day!  The softness of the Powder Pink is perfect for this card and is such a wonderful color.  The DSP is the InColor Designer Series Paper pack.  Another Must Have in my opinion!  I cut the ribbon out with the largest of the ovals in the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  For a little extra touch, I added a few of the smallest pearls to give the card a little dimension.

JULY IS BONUS MONTH: For the month of July, for every $50.00 you spend, before tax and S&H, you will receive a $5.00 coupon. You can redeem the coupon on any order in August. Burned Out

The card I have for today is from one of the cutest sets in the catalog.  It is Watts of Occasions.  There are four lightbulbs with matching sentiments.  What could be cuter?  These are designed to bring a smile to the recipient’s face and I promise it will bring a smile to your face as well.  Here is my card.

Watts of Occasions, 143867

I added the splatter from of Touches Texture stamp set to help with the “burned out” image.  The sentiment is stamped and cut out with the Pretty Label punch.  I layered two black labels behind the sentiment to give it some depth.

And to finish this card, I added one of the other sentiments to the inside of the card.  Here is that picture.

This was a super quick and easy card.  I hope you will check out this stamp set, as it meets so many reasons that we make and send cards.  The products I used today are listed below.

Thank you for visiting today.  I very much appreciate it.

Oh Happy Day

The set I have focused on today is one that totally escaped me the first look through the catalog.  Then, as usual, I began seeing beautiful cards made with it and I wondered what set it was.  DUH!!!  The one I have made for today is a 4 X 4 card, and could be a birthday or wedding card, or even a gift enclosure card.  I believe this is one of the most versatile sets in the catalog.  Say hello to the Happiest of Days stamp set.

Happiest of Days, 143796

I love this Designer Series Paper!  It is from the Coffee Cafe suite and is called Coffee Break DSP.  I chose this little pattern and went from there for the other colors.  I did the coloring of the gifts with my Stampin’ Write Markers and just added a little rhinestone to the right side bow.  It just really needed some bling since it is shaped like a starburst or pom pom.  And then I added a second rhinestone to the sentiment banner.

This is such a cute card and so quick and easy to make.  I hope you will give these smaller cards a chance.

Berry Burst Beautiful You

I have used this wonderful set, Beautiful You, so many times.  But it seems the sentiments and the ladies seem appropriate for the type of card I happen to need or decide to try.  I hope you have tried playing with this wonderful set. Here is my card for today.

Beautiful you, 143637

This lovely Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack was my color inspiration.  It pretty much said that I was going to use Berry Burst!  The only discrepancy is the watercoloring of the lady.  I used the Rich Razzleberry Watercolor Pencil and a Blender Pen.

The lady and the sentiment are both die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. In that set of framelits you get squares, circles and ovals.  I just adore using those.  The stitching means I do not have to layer another piece under that die cut.  In this case it would have been difficult due to my color choices.  The set of framelits is most definelty a Must Have for your tool kit of dies.

The finishing touches for this card are the Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding and the Enamel Shapes (I used a Rich Razzleberry shape again to compliment the Berry Burst).  The Crinkled Seam Binding is a dream to work with.  It is extremely light and maneuverable. The bow came out perfect the first time!

Thank you for visiting today!  The products I used in this card are listed at the bottom of the post and if you click on a picture you will be taken to my OnLine Store.  But don’t leave yet!! Please check out the two specials for the month of July!

Best Friend Badge

I believe anyone would love to receive a card that said they were the Best Friend Ever!  But my idea for this card came from thinking of our lovable, goofy, tennis ball addicted, Chocolate Lab – Marley.  (He never met a tennis ball that he did not love!) He left us a year ago today.  So when I was looking for a card inspiration and saw the sentiment, I knew it was perfect.  Even when he was not perfect, the love and fun we got from him was well worth the troubles.  I am sure you know what I mean.  Here is my Marley inspired card.

Badges & Banners, 141610

My color inspiration came from the Delightful Daisy DSP.

I stamped the two badges in Tranquil Tide onto a scrap of Whisper White, and punched them using the Best Badge Punch.  The tag is made with a 2″ wide strip of Daffodil Delight and is punched using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I used a tiny strip of the same DSP, just the reverse side, to add a touch to the end of the tag.  The ribbon is White Thick Baker’s Twine.  I just untwisted the part above the tag.  And of course I had to add the gold star to the badge.  There is a tiny bit smaller star in the stamp, but I felt it needed a shinier one!  The star is a Metallic Enamel Shape.

And that is my simple Best Friend card.  I hope you will be inspired to make your own Best Friend card either for a two or four legged friend !!

Wood Words Heart Wreath

Friday’s card was a 3 X 3 card, and today’s card has grown to a 4 X 4 card.  This card is the ultimate in simplicity!.  I was trying to decide what kind of layout to do for this card and had the stamps laying on the table.  They were in a little bit of a circle and the idea came from that.  Here is the card.

Wood Words, 143928

The circle of stamps reminded me of a wreath. From there it became a sort of country wooden heart wreath.  My color inspiration came from the hearts and thinking country.

This was so very easy to come together.  Being a square card, the layers are a piece of cake.  I went with the traditional 1/4″ differences.  So it is 4, 3 3/4 and 3 1/2 with the layers. I stamped and then used the Wood Crate Framelits to die cut the hearts.  I used 8 Cherry Cobbler hearts. I did use a ruler to try to get them fairly centered.  (Although I could use a ruler and they still not be centered !!!)  The top, bottom, and side hearts are taped down and the opposites are raised with a dimensional.

The center sentiment is from the Wood Words set as well.  It is stamped and then cut with the smaller of the Stitched Shape Framelits circles.  I thought it needed a background layer, but there really was not room.  So again going with my “country” thoughts, I did fake stitching.  I took the writing end of the Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker and went along the stitched area.  I went around twice to give it a darker look.  Then because of the raised hearts, the sentiment required a double layer of dimensionals to get it up above the hearts. I finished it off with an enamel heart from the Enamel Shapes Regals collection.   I did debate if it needed some splatter , but decided to leave it clean for a change.

I hope you liked this card.  And I appreciate you visiting my blog.  The products I used today are listed at the bottom of the page.  By clicking on any of the items you will be taken to my online store.

Thanks A Latte

Today’s card is one of the small 3X3 cards.  I have really become attached to these little guys.  They would be perfect just to hand out as small Thank you notes, or for any occasion.  Today’s card is a thank you and I used, for the first time, the Coffee Cafe Suite.  And I used almost everything in the suite on this little fellow!

Coffee Cafe Bundle, 145331

My color inspiration came from the little coffee cup.  I think the Soft Sky really pairs well with the green and dark brown. That was an unexpected surprise to me.  I love surprises.  The softest color is the one that POPS !

And in case you are not familiar with this Suite of items, the coffee cup is in the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.  But….there is a die in the Coffee Cups Framilits that fits that cup.  So easy, peasy in getting this cute little guy without having to stamp and color and then cut him out.  Yay for Stampin’ Up! for thinking outside the box again.

As I said, this is a 3 X 3 card.  The base is Pear Pizzaz cut to 3 X 6 and folded in half.  The Soft Sky layer is 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 with the DSP cut to 2 3/4 X 2 3/4.  I love square cards for the simple cutting of layers.

The Soft Sky heart is cut using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits.  The corrugated heart is from the Suite as well and is called Corrugated Elements.  The “Thanks a Latte” is from the Coffee Cafe stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso.  It is die cut using a matching framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits.  And I had to add just one more thing for some reason.  So I went with the Copper Trim ribbon.  If you haven’t tried this ribbon , you really should.  It makes the cutest and easiest to do bows.  And that is all there is to this cute little card.  I don’t even drink coffee and would love to receive it!!

Remember that July is Bonus Month….. For every $50.00 you spend on one order, you cannot split it between orders, you will receive a certificate for $5.00 that you can use towards an order in August.  There is no limit to the number of certificates you can earn.  So go for it!!

Remember what I have been saying about Christmas In July !!!!  It is an extremely AWESOME deal for anyone considering becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  Even if you just wanted to purchase the starter kit, it is a wonderful bang for your buck and there is no pressure for you to continue on as a demonstrator.

And now you are asking what the deal is….. For $99.00, the price of the Starter Kit, you receive $125.00 in products.  And for the Christmas In July special, you will also receive a bonus package.  This includes your basic tool kit of mono adhesive, bone folder, paper snips, grid paper, 2 of the D clear blocks, and the Carols of Christmas stamp set that will debut in the Holiday catalog.  WOW !!  So for your $99.00, you are now getting almost $200.00 in product.  That is a super deal.

Should you want to carry on as a demonstrator, you would be part of my group.  And as being part of my group, you are also an InKing Royalty.  This is a huge group of the sweetest and most talented people I have ever met.  So if you are at all interested or have any questions, I would love to talk with you about this.

Thank you for stopping by today!!!   I really appreciate you checking out my posts and your comments.
