I am at OnStage in Atlanta today and am sharing with you the little treats I made to give to other demonstrators. I love the sharing of ideas at these events. So I am going to share with you the two treat holders I made.
A month or so ago I was looking for candy to use as treats for this event. When I saw the Cowtails I knew it would be perfect to pair with one of my favorite stamp sets. It is the Over The Moon set. I love these cows!!
The box is an idea from The Paper Pixie. I got it resized to fit two of the cowtails inside. You can see Julie’s post HERE. Her project fit a small Altoid tin.
My box is narrower and longer than Julie’s and is made with the Mango Melody card stock. The measurements for the 2 cowtails is 2 1/2 X 10 1/2, score on the 2 1/2 side at 1/2 on each side. Score the 10 1/2 side at 4 1/4, 4 3/4, 9, and 9 1/2. Follow the directions from Julie on putting it together. They are the same.
The second project is much faster to make. I could not make too many of the boxes due to cramping hands. (Getting old stinks sometimes!) So I went with a faster version. This version utilizes the 3 X 6 cello bags. I made a 3 X 3 piece that is folded in half and stapled to the bag, then layer the decorations to cover the staples.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you follow my Facebook page, Blue Line Stamping, I will be posting pictures from a Brian King (Stamp With Brian) event on Friday and Stampin’ Up! on Saturday. At the last SU event we were able to share immediately new products that we received. That was a big change from previous years. Hopefully we can share this time as well.
Come back on Monday to see the card I made as a swap for Brian’s event on Friday.

I am sharing a rather different color challenge for Paper Players challenge. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the colors. But when I first saw them I had to think a minute. Now however, I am in love and trying to figure a way to incorporate some Bermuda Bay into my Christmas decorations. I went wild with my colors last year so I’m mostly there with two of the three colors.
What do you think? I believe these bright colors all work wonderfully together. The only problem I had was there is not a Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Blend. I made do with the Stampin’ Write Marker in Gorgeous Grape and actually the lines it left on the stocking topper works.
Here is the challenge from Paper Players:

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “Layer It Up” – showcasing our favorite Designer Series Paper and embellishments. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
For my “Layer It Up” card, I chose the Christmas Rose Bundle and the beautiful Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper. I LOVE this suite of products and it was perfect for what I wanted to create based on our theme.
The focal point is this beautiful Rose image. I stamped the large rose image in Memento Tuxedo Ink and then used the individual stamps to “color in” the image. It was so much fun! I didn’t get the exact position on some pieces and I am okay with that. It gives it character I believe. 🙂 After I finished stamping, I cut out the image using the matching die.
The Gold Shimmery Ribbon is part of this suite of products and works so beautifully with the DSP that has the gold running through it. The sentiment is part of the set and the shape is a part as well. I love the coordination.
The background is almost as pretty as the flowers. It is two different pieces of the Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper. To finish off this card, I added some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the roses and on the sentiment layer.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 11th, for our Retirement Fun Fold Party when our Design Team showcase projects using retiring products from the Holiday Catalog with a fun fold card. Don’t miss the fun!

I have a quick and simple Get Well card or Thinking of You type card to share today. Sometimes it seems we need these type cards on short notice. I like to have some of these on hand so I can send them right away. My memory isn’t what it used to be!! LOL!!
Fussy cutting may not be your idea of fun. But this rose and leaves actually are easy to cut out. I stamped them originally on a layer and just didn’t like the look, so out came the paper snips.
The sentiment is from one of my new favorite stamp sets, Inspiring Iris. It is layered using the Story Label Punch and the Timeless Label punch.
The gorgeous background paper is from the Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper. I have used it with the Christmas Rose set. But isn’t it great to see that it works on a non Christmas card? Another reason to purchase the bundle of products.
Thanks for visiting today. Please return tomorrow. I am participating tin the Pals Blog Hop by Mary Fish.

Happy Veteran’s Day to all of our Veterans. I am so thankful for each and every one of you!
A friend’s birthday was yesterday and she loves the more rustic look. I don’t do that very well. I lean more towards brights. But in looking through the designer series paper, which is where I get a lot of color ideas, I found what I thought would work. It is the Pressed Petals DSP. I have used the solid “burlap or linen” sheet of paper previously. I hope she and you like this one.
I paired the flowers with the burlap / linen background with Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot. I added Rococo Rose as a lighter pop of color. I also added the solid piece of the burlap / linen sheet behind the sentiment. The flower and sentiment are from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. I had not utilized that set in some time and am thrilled with how well it worked here.
Do you recognize this layout? It is a landscape version of the deer card I did last week for the sketch challenge.
Here is the layout card I mentioned:
And here is the card I did previously using the linen look DSP:
Thank you for stopping by today. I will have another new project for you tomorrow.

I have a very different card for you today. It is quite different from my normal style. I have layers and layers of die cuts. This bundle of products lends itself perfectly to this style of card. So I had to give it a try.
See what I mean??? Very unlike my normal card. But I am happy with this one. The products are the Sea of Textures and the Under The Sea matching Dies. They were previously a bundle, but carried over to this current annual catalog and are no longer at the 10% bundle discounted price. They are definitely still a great deal though.
I chose “water” colors of Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party card stock to make this card. I added in some Soft Suede and Sahara Sand as well.
I love this sentiment! What a great one for encouragement for a graduate or someone headed to a new job or off to college. I paired it with the Story Label and Timeless Label punches. My sweet friend Julie DiMatteo is who showed me how well these two punches layer together.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back on Monday for more new projects.

The Tea Together and Tea Time Dies were never a bundle but are a super pairing of products. It gives a very classic scene for a card.
I paired the sweet products with the softest of the Stampin’ Up! colors. It is the Purple Posy. Sadly, there are still failed results for the Purple Posy Ink. So Stampin’ Up!, with their great care for quality, has decided to give up on the Purple Posy Ink. All of the other Purple Posy products will still be available. The Stampin’ Blends works beautifully as you can see in the tea cup.
I stamped the tea cup in Highland Heather and then colored parts with the Purple Posy Stampin’ Blend Light. The flower is stamped in Smoky Slate and colored with the Purple Posy, Light Highland Heather, and Light Old Olive Blends.
The tag is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays and is puched using the Classic Label Punch. After punching, I put the one end back into the edge of the punch to make the flagged end.
The background designer paper is from the In Color Designer Series Paper for 2019-2021. I used two different patterns of the Purple Posy DSP.
Thank you very much for checking in today. I hope you will return tomorrow for another new project.

I love sketch challenges. It is a perfect way for me to begin a card. In other words, it makes my life much easier! So today I am playing along with the Global Design Project #214 for a sketch challenge.
It is also the first time I have inked up the Nature’s Beauty stamp set. Oh my! I adore this stamp set!! I hope you will give it another look. It is on the last page of the Holiday Catalog.
Here is the sketch for the challenge.
That deer is so pretty. He , or she, is so peaceful looking. Exactly what I wish for this Holiday season. I hated to add the sentiment and cover up part of the deer. But after seeing the beautiful script of the sentiment, I fell in love with it as well. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas. I have all of the “Itty Bitty” stamp sets. This one is especially great with different fonts for the variety of Christmas wishes.
The background designer series paper is from Magnolia Lane DSP. I thought the leaves paired beautifully with the deer and his woods. To emphasize the “snow”, although you have to use your imagination there, I added the Shimmery Crystal Effects to the base of the trees and at the deer’s feet.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you will come back tomorrow for another new project.
Measurements:
Card base is 4 1/4 X 11
Whisper White layer is 4 X 5 1/4

Deer base layer is 4 1/8 X 2 5/8
White stamped layer is 4 X 2 1/2
Sentiment base layer is 2 3/4 X 5/8
Stamped sentiment is 2 5/8 X 1/2

I am back to holiday cards today. I am combining the Cup of Christmas Bundle with the Let It Snow Designer Series Paper. This paper is a favorite of mine. I am sure you have noticed that as much as I have used it!
It is hard to say what is the star of this card. I love the designer series paper. I have used three different patterns of the Let It Snow DSP. For the mug, I stamped on the DSP then used the matching die to cut it out.
The glitter on the sentiment of the mug is added to by Shimmery Crystal Effects. I also added just a bit of the White Snowball Accents Puff Paint along the rim of the cup. I was very light handed with it in that I didn’t want too much “foam”. I have not played with puff paint in quite a while. It is so fun.
The candy cane is cut using the matching dies. It is two pieces. There is a solid white layer and then the striped red layer. I attached the two and placed them under the cup. Just for some cuteness i added a bow to the candy cane.
I hope you will give these two neat products a try – the Shimmery Crystal Effects and the Snowball Accents Puff Paint. They are perfect for hot chocolate!
Thanks for stopping by today, please return tomorrow.

Today’s card is for a Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I am using a stamp set that you may not have noticed before. It is a stamp set named Hoot Hoot Hooray and is from the Beginner Brochure. This is a brochure aimed at the beginner stamper. But I love all of the stamp sets in the brochure. I will try to begin sharing more of them with you. You can see the Beginner Brochure HERE. The stamp set is in the rear of the pamplet and is so cute.
Here is the Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 409 challenge:
For the focus, I chose the Welcome baby rocky horse. I took the “baby” theme to the basics. I chose to use the old fashioned primary colors.
The background designer series paper is a new one for me. It is the See A Silhouette DSP. Oh my, I love it! The colors are all so vibrant! It worked perfectly with my primary color theme as that is what the entire pack of DSP is. A super find for me.
I masked off the sentiment which is attached to the rocky horse. I wanted them to be separate. I made a little flag to show the sentiment. I colored the rocky horse and precious teddy bear with Stampin’ Blends. Then cut everything using the Layering Circles Dies.
I have not made a square card in a little while. The sketch appeared to be square, so I liked that idea. This would be so cute tucked into a baby gift.
AND…..I got to use the new Paper Trimmer for the project. I promise you, the more I use it, the more I LOVE it!! I am so happy now that there were problems with the old one. I liked it, but this one is so much better!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow for another new project.
