Gather Together

Today’s card is my first card from the Holiday Catalog!  WooHoo!!  It is an awesome catalog.  They always are, and each time I say this one is the best.  It is true once again!

I am sharing a Fall or Thanksgiving card today.  As always, the Designer Series Paper is fabulous!  I love the colors they have paired in this pack.  It is called Come To Gather Designer Series Paper.  I have also used the Gather Together stamp set.  The set has matching dies, but I did not use those on this one.

Do you agree on the beautiful DSP?  The Pretty Peacock really pops, and it pairs well with the Early Espresso and Sahara Sand.  Once again, the DSP takes the focal point.

The sentiment and background are cut with the Layering Squares Dies.  The pieces are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the Braided Linen Trim runs beneath the square.  I taped the ribbon to the back and then made a bow to glue dot to the front.  That is the simple way of getting a perfectly snug ribbon and bow!

Thank you for stopping in today.  I have all of the supplies listed at the bottom of the post.

Thankful

I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving today!  Spending time with those we love are , at least for me, the best part of the day.  So wishes for a day of happiness, as well as Thanksgiving, to you all.

My card today is a quick and simple stamping card, #simplestamping.  This was a challenge from Sara Douglass at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event.  She challenged us to do more Simple Stamping.  I think I do that pretty much all the time.

Falling For Leaves, 147680

The beauty of this card is from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper. I hate that it is out of stock.  But I paired it with an unexpected soft color of Mint Macaron.

The only thing I did a little bit different here is the Cajun Craze curved branch.  This is from the Falling For Leaves stamp set and is a straight piece.  Since it is in photopolymer though, I can slightly curve it.  I wanted to add it to the wreath and curving it as I placed it on the clear block worked perfectly.

Thank you very much for stopping by today.  I very much appreciate it and hope to see you tomorrow.  I hope you have a great day doing whatever you love!

Don’t forget the upcoming sale!!!!   I will have all of the updates on my blog tomorrow.

Thankful Heart for #GDP163

Today is another of my Stamp Club Fall Swap cards.  It also fits perfectly with the challenge from Global Design Project #163.  That is to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary/Birthday.  And to share what we all love about Stampin’ Up!.  For me, Stampin’ Up! is the definition of Friends and Sharing.  I have made some fabulous and longtime friends through Stampin’ Up!.  I cherish them all and am so thankful for what brought us together.  So my card today fits perfectly on that idea of a Grateful Heart.

Falling For Leaves, 147680

I shared this type card once before on a Blog Hop.  It is the Double Z Fold Step card.  It sounds complicated but is super easy to make.  I love easy that packs a WOW.

This card layout does require designer series paper.  On this one, I mixed some DSP.  My favorite part is the sentiment though.  I LOVE that saying, as well as the mixture of fonts.  I am crazy for a mix of fonts.

Here is a side view of the Double Z.

Hello Everyone !!

I hope I still have my loyal followers here today.  I had an awesome two week vacation in France, but now I am back to share new projects with you.

The weather in France was warmer than expected and I came home to a bit cooler temperatures.  That was an unexpected pleasure.  This put me in the holiday spirits, plus realizing that Halloween is in two days!  Yikes!!!  So I covered all of the upcoming holidays in one project for you.  And it is a quick one as well.

Stampin' Up!, Jackie Beers, Pillow Boxes, Kraft Pillow Boxes, Takeout Treats, Many Blessings, Trick or Tweet

Kraft Pillow Boxes, 147018

I created treat boxes for each of the upcoming holidays.  All of these were really quick.  I could have kept going on each one of the themes.  With the Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, and great seasonal stamp sets, the ideas are just endless for decorating these little boxes.

The great part of these boxes are the price.  You get 10 boxes for $5.00.  That is an awesome deal!  They are large enough to hold a variety of candies or small gifts.  These are fairly basic in the designs.  I can see the beauty in coming up with a theme and creating a basket of these to have by your door for holiday guests or to take to a gathering.

Thank you for visiting today.  I really appreciate you hanging around for my return from vacation.  The supplies I used on the boxes are all listed at the bottom of the post.

Harvest Thanks

I have a quick and bright card to share with you today.  I inked up the Falling For Leaves stamp set for the first time.  I can just imagine several ways of using the large leaf.  Oh My!!  But today’s is quick, and simple.  I am not saying clean though.  LOL !!  I did the smooshing technique and I usually get a little messy with that.

Falling For Leaves, 147680

As you can see, my smooshing is messy!  I intentionally only did it to one side for a bit different look.  I used Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, and Calypso Coral re-inkers for the technique.  I actually made a couple of backgrounds at the same time.  This one turned out the best I believe.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I greatly appreciate it.  All of the supplies I used, as limited as they are, are at the bottom of the post.  I hope you will come back tomorrow to see a new project.

Blessings

Today’s card is a sneak peek at one of the stamp sets I was anxious to get my hands on.  It has a 3D look to the bow that intrigued me.  And Yes, it really does have that look so it appears like a real bow.  I am not sure if you can tell from the photograph though.

Wishing You Well, 147864

There are a couple of newer stamp sets that have this look, but the bow seems to really look 3D and I adore it!  I see this stamp set in every season of the year.  This one is definitely a keeper for me.

I love this sentiment as well.  It is from the new Many Blessings stamp set.  Today as a SU Demonstrator,  we get to register for the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary On Stage Celebration.  I feel it is a Blessing that I get to do something that I love so much, and share it with all of you.  Plus I have met some really amazing people, customers and fellow demonstrators, that have become great friends.  So Yay for today.

Now back to the card.  I paired one of my favorite new colors, Mango Melody with Fresh Fig.  I have not used Fresh Fig very often and each time I ask myself why I have not.  It is a great color.  The DSP is from the Country Lane Suite.  Another Must Have stamp set, Bundle, I want it all!!!

The little sprigs were added for just a little texture.  They are made with the new Sprig Punch which is part of the Frosted Suite.  An unexpected, but nice add on for a lot of layouts.

Thank you for visiting today.  I appreciate it very much.  Normally my supplies are listed at the bottom of the page.  But because these are not available yet, I had difficulties getting the links.  Once I can figure that out I will update this post.  So sorry!!
