I cannot seem to stop playing with the Coffee Cafe Suite. And as I have said previously, I do not drink coffee! This suite of products is just so irresistible .
Coffee Cafe, 144156
This card is a side fold with a pocket for a gift card. The base is 4 1/4 X 11 and scored and folded at 5 1/2. I then folded the top flap in half. (You can see from the photo at the bottom where the top of the blue is thicker) I cut off the folded end at 1 1/2 which leaves approximately half of the folded under section to slide a gift card into. I secured the flap with Tear and Tape on each side of the flap and close to the edges. This leaves ample room for the gift card without it being too tight a fit.
Once the gift card section is complete, the top layer is simple. Just be careful when you tape the top flap down to only tape the left section!! I have made that mistake myself on several occasions. 🙂
I kept the stamping pretty simple and just added the Soft Sky heart for an accent. The glitter enamel dot is to tie in the Pear Pizzaz. The coffee beans are stamped full strength once on each side and then again without re-inking on each side.
My color combination is from the beautiful Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I know i am repeating myself, but Stampin’ Up! has the BEST designer series paper!!
Thank you so much for stopping in today! I hope you enjoyed this card. I may not have explained myself very well on the making of the gift card flap. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Welcome to the August 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re going to “Cut It Out”. Participants will feature projects with “cuts” from punches, dies, Framelits, Edgelits, or Thinlits.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
My card for this awesome blog hop is a mixture of stamp sets and punches. I am using the sentiment for the title. It is “Thanks A Bunch”.
Daisy Delight Bundle 145361
I got my DSP inspiration from the cover of the HGTV Magazine that just arrived. It had flowers made from paint chips. So I immediately thought of the beautiful Color Theory DSP.
I punched the daisies from the same sheet of DSP. One is the “paint chip” side and the other is the opposite side, which is the paint crackle. Isn’t this paper just wonderful? The pansy is two punches from the same DSP.
The background, which does not show up very well in the photograph, is from the stamp set “You’ve Got This”. It is a crosshatch design stamped in Soft Sky ink. The stems for the flowers are from the Daisy Delight set. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet set and is punched out with the 1 1/4 circle punch.
I enjoyed making this card for today’s hop. A little whimsy is a wonderful thing !!!! The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post. By clicking on a picture you will be taken to my Online store. Thank you!
Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on September 13, 2017 for “My Favorite Season”. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We’d love to hear what you have to say about our creative “Cuts”.
I am playing with a few of the Stampin’ Up! Host Rewards Stamp sets in the coming week. Today is the first of them. This card is made with the Tranquil Tulips set. It is a beautiful set, and it just inspires you to try all colors of tulips!
Tranquil Tulips,143767
My color choices for today were just from me asking myself what would be a pretty tulip color! This set makes any color beautiful. So I came up with these.
The tulips are stamped in Rich Razzleberry without stamping off! I intended to stamp off for the first one and forgot, so when I stamped the top layer I really liked it. These are definitely easy to use stamps and very forgiving as well. The texture covers up our mistakes. So I did all of the stamping full strength and it still resulted in a variegated look. Win/Win.
The sentiment is from Label Me Pretty and punched with the matching punch. (You can get these as a great bundle). I added the ribbon and even though it is Fresh Fig, it works wonderfully with the Rich Razzleberry.
Thank you for stopping by today! I very much appreciate your comments. Please let me know if I can assist you with anything. The supplies I used are listed below and clicking on a picture will take you directly to my Online Store.

Today’s card used a technique that I rarely do, but always love the results. And maybe it isn’t really a technique per se. It is stamping on your Designer Series Paper instead of just using it as a layer. The results are usually very nice. Here is what I did for today’s card.
Definitely Dahlia, 139911
This card definitely falls under Quick and Easy layout. There is really not very much to the card and the layers are simple.
The color combination came from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper. Wow! That’s a big name. But the paper lives up to that name.
Other than the beautiful DSP, I simply stamped the Definitely Dahlia stamp with Fresh Fig ink and the sentiment with Tranquil Tide ink. The sentiment is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set. The sentiment contains a tiny heart, but I wanted to add Fresh Fig to it , so I added an Enamel Shape Heart over the tiny heart. And that is the extent of the card. I hope you enjoyed it today.

I have another quick and easy card for you today. The sets I have used are older, but wonderful, stamps that I have not utilized in a while. So I dusted them off and came up with this card
All Things Thanks, 143097
This is such a sweet card and takes only a couple of minutes and minimum product to complete. The color choice came from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack. It has such unique patterns and is a group of the new InColors for 2017-2019.
The base and Ink are Dapper Denim with the variegated piece of DSP. I bordered the DSP with a layer of Whisper White card stock and then bordered the Whisper White stamped piece with Dapper Denim card stock. The flowers are from Flower Shop stamp set and have a matching punch. I just stamped the center one with full strength Dapper Denim ink and then the other two are stamped after stamping off once. If you haven’t tried that technique it is a great way to give some depth to your stamped collage type areas.
The sentiment is from All Things Thanks set. Most of the sentiments in the set are a variation of Thank You, except for this one. I use it frequently! And to finish off the card, I added Clear Faceted Gems to the center of the flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! The supplies are listed again at the bottom and clicking on a photo will take you directly to my Online Store.

I don’t even drink coffee and I am in love with this new Coffee Cafe Suite! Everything in the suite is just wonderful. And it’s the little things! The Designer Series Paper is beautiful, the matching framelits are a must have. I have used the little tag,( I actually think it may be a tea bag!), several times to attach a tag to a little card or gift. And I know we have had coffee sets from Stampin’ Up! before, but this one is just at at the top of the scale. So enough of that, here is the card I made.
Coffee Cafe Bundle, 145331
My color inspiration for this card came from this DSP. As I mentioned in my comments above, everything in this suite of items is wonderful, and the DSP is no exception. This paper I used is probably my favorite of the DSP pack. And gave me the color combination.
I did this card with my Stamp Club on Sunday and one of the ladies commented that she would have never put these two colors together. I responded with “I would not have either” it was the DSP’s fault!!
To give some extra color to the open portion of Soft Sky card stock, I used the coffee mark from Timeless Texture stamp set and stamped in Soft Sky Ink. The coffee cup is stamped in Soft Sky with the lid stamped in Pear Pizzazz. They were cut out with the matching dies in the Framelits set. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso. The one thing I would change is the little heart stopper in the lid. I cut it out in Soft Sky card stock and you really cannot see it. As a redo I would use the Early Espresso or Crumb Cake for that.
The products I used to day are listed at the bottom of this post. You can click on any item and be taken directly to my online store.
