Friendships Sweetest Thoughts is a perfect springtime stamp set. I love it and will miss it at the end of next month. Today I have paired it with the Fresh Floral DSP that includes the current In Color Family of colors.
Friendships Sweetest Thoughts, 145826
I believe the DSP pairs perfectly with the little flower cart. I have mixed my reds in this. I used Berry Burst Card stock and DSP, Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blend, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend for the bird. Who knew it would all mesh pretty well???
The cart is stamped and colored with the Stampin’ Blends and then cut out using the Layering Ovals Framelits. Instead of placing it under an oval cut into the DSP, I decided just to layer it on top. Without a background layer, the single layer lays flat enough that it appears to be underneath. A win for quick and not having to measure to find the center!
Thank you for stopping by today! I have included all of the products used at the bottom of the page. Remember the Retiring Lists. The stamp set and DSP are on there.
Another Paper Pumpkin Special: The March PP was so popular due to the special gift that it sold out. So Stampin’ Up! has offered a great deal to replace that. New Subscribers who sign up before April 10, will receive April and May for half price. So 2 months for the price of 1. A great deal. Use my link HERE, and enter the code: SAVEFIFTY0418
It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
For the second card using the You’ve Got This stamp set, I used almost the same products plus some DSP. I added the Delightful Daisy DSP, another favorite. It works perfectly with both the Peekaboo Peach, and Night of Navy (yesterday was Dapper Denim).
You’ve Got This, 139575
When I use DSP, I like to put a layer between it and the base layer. I don’t want it to fade into the base. Instead of Dapper Denim, I went with Night of Navy due to the little pieces of it in the floral DSP. Other than that, I used the same inks and ribbon. I left off the glitter dots from yesterday. I think the bow is more than enough for the decoration. As I said yesterday, this ribbon is a dream to work with. My bling for this card is that I went over the entire flower with Clear Wink of Stella. In person it adds quite a bit of shimmer.
I hope you like today’s card. It has more layers and a bit different layout. I hope I have I have given you pause in considering some of these retiring items. Please place your orders soon to insure that you get the items you want. You can click on any of the items and be taken directly to my online store, or click on the Shop button at the top of the page.
Thank you for stopping by today. Tomorrow I will be showcasing a different stamp set. So please check it out.

The card I have today is made using the stamp set that coordinates with a kit. It is Hello Friend and is on page 17 of the annual catalog. I think of it as a “sleeper” stamp set. It really has great pieces that work great together and separately.
Hello Friend, 144059
I love this wreath. It is a 4 Season type wreath I believe. You could add the flowers, as I have, or leave plain, add berries, etc. I chose a wreath for Spring. The base and flowers are stamped in Melon Mambo and the wreath is Wild Wasabi.
The designer series paper I used is from the Color Theory paper stack. It is a variegated green. I cut off the lightest color in making it fit the card. I wanted a simple way to add texture or more emphasis without really adding anything. ( I know that sounds crazy!) Between the variegated DSP and by placing the wreath over to the side, I think I succeeded. It also allowed me to wrap a piece of the beautiful Whisper White Organza Ribbon and add a bow.
This is a layout that can definitely be used quite often. I love versatile layouts, cards, etc. Thank you so much for visiting today! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! Today’s hop is filled to the brim with projects that celebrate Spring and Summer. With inspiration from Katrina & the Waves’ song “Walking on Sunshine,” we’ve created projects that share the joy and excitement that accompany warmer weather. We are excited to share our projects with you. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Nothing says warmth like being out in the sun. So when I considered the theme of today’s hop, I immediately thought of the Sheltering Tree stamp set. A beautiful sunny day and relaxing beneath a big tree is what I was looking for.
Sheltering Tree, 137163
Taking a break under the tree is such a Summer thing, and I cannot wait for it to get here. So I was excited to make this card following today’s theme. I picked the colors to be bright and summery as well. The Crushed Curry from the Color Theory Designer Seres Paper Stack was perfect. I love the added texture the crackled look of the paper gives.
My sunshine is from the SAB set Amazing You. It makes the perfect sunbeams. The finishing touch was the Brights Enamel Shapes element of the heart to match the sentiment. This truly was a quick card. Since the stamp set is photopolymer it is so easy to line everything up.

I am doing a different look to one of the cutest sets in the Occasions Catalog. And Yes, I am referring to the A Good Day stamp set. I have used it quite a lot, but isn’t that why we purchase sets? I have definitely enjoyed this one!!
A Good Day, 145873
I CASED this card from a card I found when going through some old swap cards. I love finding inspiration in older cards. (And it justifies me having a bunch of stuff hanging around!) In truth though, it is another quick and easy card to make. So I hope you will CASE this one as well.
I stamped and colored with the Stampin’ Blends the cute little animals from the stamp set. I had already decided my second color was going to be Calypso Coral. So I gave each animal a touch of it and then used it as the scalloped circle color.
To give some definition to the Island Indigo base, I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool ( A Must Have tool !!) and scored around all four sides. Of course that didn’t seem to be enough. I then added the scores across the center. That made me happy and I was finished. Sometimes it is just the little things that finish a card.
Thank you for visiting today. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page. I hope you like this card and will come back tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop.

The title of my post is a bit misleading! I am NOT Awesomely Artistic. I wish!!! But it is the name of the stamp set I used today. It is an oldy but goody. It features great stamps for a variety of background and collage type cards. Here is how I used it.
Awesomely Artistic, 139950
This is another of my quick and easy card. My intent is for it to look like a wreath. I am not sure it made that, but I still like it. It was stamped by punching a piece of copy paper with the 2 1/4″ circle punch. I temporarily adhered it to the center of the card. Then it was just a mater of stamping around.
The center is the sentiment from the Fabulous Host Rewards Set – Yay You! I love this sentiment. It will be in my keeper stamp box. The ones that you just cannot get rid of. The butterfly is from Awesomely Artistic as well, and was for the added color and dimension.
Thank you so much for visiting today. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post. I hope you have an Awesome Weekend! Please stop back here on Monday for a new project.
