For the second card using the You’ve Got This stamp set, I used almost the same products plus some DSP. I added the Delightful Daisy DSP, another favorite. It works perfectly with both the Peekaboo Peach, and Night of Navy (yesterday was Dapper Denim).
You’ve Got This, 139575
When I use DSP, I like to put a layer between it and the base layer. I don’t want it to fade into the base. Instead of Dapper Denim, I went with Night of Navy due to the little pieces of it in the floral DSP. Other than that, I used the same inks and ribbon. I left off the glitter dots from yesterday. I think the bow is more than enough for the decoration. As I said yesterday, this ribbon is a dream to work with. My bling for this card is that I went over the entire flower with Clear Wink of Stella. In person it adds quite a bit of shimmer.
I hope you like today’s card. It has more layers and a bit different layout. I hope I have I have given you pause in considering some of these retiring items. Please place your orders soon to insure that you get the items you want. You can click on any of the items and be taken directly to my online store, or click on the Shop button at the top of the page.
Thank you for stopping by today. Tomorrow I will be showcasing a different stamp set. So please check it out.
Another Paper Pumpkin Special: The March PP was so popular due to the special gift that it sold out. So Stampin’ Up! has offered a great deal to replace that. New Subscribers who sign up before April 10, will receive April and May for half price. So 2 months for the price of 1. A great deal. Use my link HERE, and enter the code: SAVEFIFTY0418
It is still a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I would love to have you join my team. A great perk for demonstrators this time of year is getting to see the new catalog first. Then we get to order and play with the new products a month early. For me, that is one of the best parts of being a SU Demonstrator. Of course, the discount helps! If you are interested, please contact me and let’s talk.
It is the time of year where we are saying goodbye to some of the most loved stamp sets and accessories. We all have our favorites, but we must make room for new products. So the next couple of weeks I am going to be sharing some of my favorites that we are saying goodbye to. This week I have taken two stamps sets and made two cards with each. One is a pretty quick and simple. The second is just a little “more” . Not over the top just a little something extra. Today I am starting this journey with the You’ve Got This stamp set.

I apologize for the photography! This looks a bit washed out here. It really is quite bright.
I used the retiring Peekaboo Peach as the base with Dapper Denim as the coordinating color. The ribbon is actually Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding , another retiring product that I love. Just to give it a little sparkle, I added a couple of the Glitter Enamel Dots.
I hope you will stop back by tomorrow to see the same colors and stamp set with just a little bit more. The supply list is at the bottom of the page.

I made this card with the stamp set Varied Vases, which commemorates Mary Fish’s Million Dollars sales! And I have to say that it is the best ever two step stamp set. The pieces line up perfectly! I am in love. As if that isn’t enough….there is a matching punch. Woohoo!! I love punches. The card is a asymmetrical in its layout, but I think it works.

The background DSP is a super new one for the New Annual Catalog. As is the stamp set and punch for that matter. This is definitely a perk of being a demonstrator. We get to order and play with new catalog products ahead of everyone else. Anyway, back to the DSP. It is Tranquil Textures DSP and is part of a Suite. (Note: It is not listed in the supply list. Apparently it has not been added to the resource I use for my links. ) All I ordered to start with was the paper because I thought it was beautiful. And trust me…..it is beautiful.
I know the Powder Pink layers are unexpected but I was looking for something to tie in with the flowers and vase choices I chose. I am thrilled with how well it pairs together. I love the unexpected fit. I used a variety of colors and instead of listing them a couple of times, you can see it all in the supply list at the bottom of the page.
Other than deciding on the multiple colors, this was an easy card to put together. Now I want to do another with more of a monochromatic look.
Thank you for checking in today. I hope you liked this card and will return on Monday to see what I have for you. Please remember that the Retiring Items are While Supplies Last on the ink, paper, DSP, etc. So don’t wait if you have a color that you simply love.

I have somewhat of a Funky Fold in my card today. I received a similar card at the swap a couple of weeks ago and loved that it was different. I recreated it, but instead of folding, I cut away to make the same front result. And I changed the front decorations as well. I had in my mind a gentleman card with a tie. However, it ended up more like a female card with a scarf! I just never know what my end result will be! 🙂
Lovely Wishes, 145924
I will begin with the “V”. The card I received was 4 1/4 X 11, scored equally and then each end was cut so that when they overlapped the front it formed this V. I decided it would be easier to do a regular fold from that beginning cut, but cut out the V section. My method saves some cutaway card stock but requires a little measuring. So the other may be simpler???
I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot once in each direction to make the plaid design on the front section. I then used Tear & Tape to secure the bottom and the side. I also used the Tear & Tape to adhere the ribbon around the neck of my “sweater”.
I hope you like my funky fold card. It is a good design for pull out invitations or even adding a gift card on the bottom portion of the pull out card.
Thank you for visiting today. The supplies I used are all listed at the bottom of the page. Please don’t forget about the Retiring Items and the Clearance Rack was updated on Tuesday. My much loved Island Indigo is on the Retiring List as well. So if it a favorite of yours you should grab some now!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s hops are themed around some of our favorite songs. Today’s hop pulls inspiration from B.B. King’s song “Let the Good Times Roll.” How fun is that?! We’ve created projects that either feature images with wheels (cards, wagons, bikes) or celebrate good times. We are excited to share our projects with you. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I debated on a Rockin’ Party or Nostalgia. And I ended with Nostalgia for my card. In the Spring I always think of where I grew up close to the country and mountains. This brings me to pick -up trucks and fields. So my choice was from the Country Living’ Stamp set. I know I am dating myself in this choice of an old pick-up truck !!
Country Living’ 141925
I stamped the truck with Early Espresso and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends. My sentiment is from Beautiful Day and I chose to give it an unexpected direction. I layered it on Pear Pizzaz and adhered it to the Calypso Coral layer. Using my paper snips, I trimmed the ends so it is flush with the layers. I like the different type of banner.
I appreciate you visiting and would love to see your thoughts. Is this a memory from your early years as well? As always, the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Julie DiMatteo at https://thepaperpixie.com

Today’s card had a super neat product that will appear in the new Annual Catalog. It is a pack of 6 X 6 paper that looks like stained glass, minus the color. It has raised black lines and all you have to do is color it. I have used Stampin’ Write Markers and Stampin’ Blends. I like Blends the best of the two. This one is done with the Stampin’ Blends. I have not tried watercoloring them yet. Stay tuned for that one. This is just a quick one I made to see how it looked with other colors around it.
Graceful Glass, 146344
All I had to do for this crd was cut, color, and stamp the sentiment. The “stained glass” piece I used here is on a sheet of four exactly alike. So I just cut one out and layered it on Whisper White. It does need a light background to show the colors. Otherwise, It would have faded into the berry color of the DSP I believe.
As I said, this is a great way to quickly color a lot of focal points for cards. The raised black line helps keep you from overlapping the colors and gives it the old world look of stained glass. I cannot wait to color some more of this. There are quite a few different patterns in the package. So stay tuned!
Thanks again for stopping by. Be sure and come back tomorrow as I will be participating in an InKing Royalty Blog Hop. Woohoo!! There are always such great ideas from very talented stampers for you to check out.
