One of my most favorite foods is Donuts. Krispy Kreme Glazed Donuts especially! So of course when I saw the stamp set Birthday Goodness I knew I had to have it. Who would not like a donut birthday card?
I did not do my normal “bling” for added on the card. I liked the donuts and the bit of DSP to do the shine.
I stamped the donuts in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends. I added the strip of Designer Series Paper from the 2019-2021 In Color DSP. The top layer is raised just for a bit of definition.
I hope you liked the donuts and will give this stamp set a look. It is becoming one of my favorites.

I was so happy when Fable Friends carried over to the new Annual Catalog. It reminds me of the childrens fairy tales of my youth. Another of our Facebook challenges last week was simple an Animal. I debated for just a minute and then went with the Goose from Fable Friends.
I paired a couple of stamp sets to make this card. I love that the Goose is wearing a raincoat, so that was my starting point. I wanted to give her a bright and cheery coat to wear in the rain.
I paired High Tide to get the puddled water and the grass. The rain came from Birthday Backgrounds, and the sentiment from Love What You Do.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Framelits for the sign. This is the trick again of cutting it out with the die leaving the excess length towards one end. Then re-inserting it to the point you need for the proper length. The stitching makes this so easy to do, as you simply press the stitches back onto the die. That way you know it is lined up properly.

I have really enjoyed playing with the stamp set Enjoy Life. The sentiments are spot on and the images are great for encouragement and sports. We can all use those, or at least I can. I must have subconsciously been thinking of The Tour De France when I made this card. LOL!!
Actually, this was for one of the challenges while Brian King was away on our Facebook group. It was titled Transportation. But it does totally fit the Tour De France.
The Swirl & Curls Embossing Folder seems to be a perfect match for the bicycle. Like the wind and he is speeding along! The color pairing is a bit different. I just played around and came up with Merry Merlot and Pool Party. I never would have thought to pair these two. I like to peruse my ink pads and look across them for different combinations.

I am not sure why masculine cards are , or at least seem to be, hard to make. What if masculine cards are our everyday cards just in a different color? I believe the project I have for you today is one of those cards. It does not scream masculine, but the colors I chose lean that direction.
This is a really quick card to make. The longest time part is the embossed basket weave. And now after my opening paragraph, I can see this done in lighter colors and perfect for anyone.
I am not sure why I got on the masculine talking point. Maybe because this card was intended for a male??? Who knows with me. But I hope I have given you food for thought.

I know there are a lot of Magnolia cards being shared. I believe it is because the suite of products is just so darn beautiful!! So I am sharing another one. This is a pretty simple card in that there is not a lot to it. I love the “clean” look of this one.
The gorgeous DSP is the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. It is the reverse (you know how much I love to use the reverse sides!) of the black background with the small flower above on it. I layered it on a Whisper White piece to hopefully not have it blend into the base card.
The flower is stamped with Early Espresso Ink. If you give it just a minute, then it does not bleed when you color it with the Stampin’ Blends. I love using other than black for my outline a lot of times. I have yet to have one bleed when the blends are used with it. I colored the edges of the petals with the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. The leaves and stem are done using Light Mossy Meadow and Light Crumb Cake.
The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia set as well. Another plus in the column for this set is the sentiments. It is stamped in Mossy Meadow on Petal Pink card stock. I punched it out using the Tailored Tag Punch for a bit of a different shape.
Both the flower and sentiment are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For just a touch of extra, I added a couple of the Gingham Gala Adhesive Back Sequins. These are great for just a bit of extra texture but they don’t jump out at you!

Today is another of the Royal Challenge cards I made last week. This one is a CASE of the catalog. I chose to use the catalog card as the idea, but used everything different than they used. A CASE can be just the idea, layout, or a pretty much copy. I love that we SHARE EVERYTHING!
This is a CASE from page 41 of the Annual Catalog. When I saw the DSP behind the cut out, I realized I had done a similar one recently. But I love the look and I just happened to be playing with the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. I knew I had to use it. This gorgeous paper is simply above and beyond all the other beautiful paper Stampin’ Up! carries.
For my card, I used the Stitched Rectangle Framelit Dies and cut out Daffodil Delight. I then stamped on the “frame” with Daffodil Delight Ink and a stamp from Botanical Bliss stamp set. I also die cut the Garden Green stems using the Botanical Tags Dies. The sentiment and flower is from Botanical Bliss as well. It is stamped and then punched with the Darling Label punch. I love this almost square punch. It is the only one that is not more oval shaped!
