Sunday was the Fall card swap I do with my Stamp Club. I made tags for the little baskets everyone places the cards into. My favorite suite of products for Fall, and maybe in the Holiday Catalog, is the Gather Together products. Of course that is what I used to make the name tags.
I am not very good at the infinity shots that some take of a group of cards and other products they have mass produced. But I think you can see how cute these are.
I really adore the leaves from the Gathering Leaves Dies, part of the Gather Together Bundle. They are perfectly sized, but best of all they emboss and cut at the same time. Whoever invented dies that do that are some of my favorite people!! I cut the three different sizes in different colors. I used Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzaz for the leaves.
The sentiment is from the Gather Together stamp set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock. I chose all of the colors from that wonderful plaid designer series paper. The shape of the sentiment is from the Story Label Punch. I also used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch for the top of the tag, but then I covered it up with the leaves.
The names were printed off the computer and then layered on Pretty Peacock card stock. The finishing touch was the piece of Burlap Ribbon with a Linen Thread tiny bow.
The tag itself is 2 X 5, and the DSP is 1 7/8 X 4 7/8. The name layer depended on the size of the name. 🙂 I see these as being re-made for a Thanksgiving party as place tags or for food names. The thought is to just turn the placement of the decorations. Make them 4 X 5 folded in half to 2 X 5 and sitting on the table with the decorations in top left corner or across the top. I will post a picture of that once I get them made. This is in my brain right now!
Before I go, have you seen the extra post I did yesterday about the upcoming Flash Sale? Here are the flyers with the stamp sets that will be included in the sale. 15% off is a pretty good deal in my book!

However, you can place it on a Starter Kit!! Hint, Hint !!
CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE BUNDLE: This can be ordered as a Suite Bundle with everything pictured, or individually to get just the pieces you want. The products will be available on November 1 for customers to order.
I have shared several cards using the Gather Together Bundle. I think it is a perfect Fall, and Thanksgiving set. So I have it again today for a color challenge.
My card was too dark, so I tried lightening it so you could see the sparkle and the detail of the background. From here it looks out of sorts. I apologize!! These Iphone updates are killing my picture production.
I paired Blackberry Bliss with Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake for the color challenge. I was immediately impressed with how well the Blackberry Bliss blended with the lighter colors instead of overpowering. To reward it for being so nice, I made it the focal point with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.
The leaves are cut using the dies from the Gather Together Bundle. They are amazing!! They emboss and cut at the same time. I love a tool that multi-tasks for me. To give a bit of shimmer, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to each of the leaves.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and it is cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. That piece is finished off with just a little bow tied from the Nature’s Twine bundle of twine in Blackberry Bliss as well.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back tomorrow for one final project for the week. I am still trying to get the photo adjustments working!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around AUTUMN. There is so much to love about the transition from summer to winter, and we are excited to share our Autumn-themed projects with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
For me Autumn or Fall is falling leaves, pumpkins, and plaid flannel shirt. So I have created a card with these things in mind. The icing on the cake is the new Mercury Vellum that Stampin’ Up! has debuted in the Holiday Catalog.
This card includes all of the things I mentioned as describing Autumn/ Fall to me. It is actually layers of the things I love. I used two different pieces of the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. The Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze background are layered with the gorgeous multi-color plaid.
The Mercury Vellum is one of my new favorites. It is a bit thicker than regular vellum card stock. I stamped on it with Black StaZon Ink. Then I used the Apple Punch from the Harvest Hellos Bundle to punch the vellum as well as the Cajun Craze layer behind it. I felt like it looked better with the Cajun Craze showing through the clear spaces than the plaid from my banner. Although there is nothing wrong with a plaid pumpkin in my book!
The apple punch includes a stem and leaf. I punched just the leaf from Pretty Peacock card stock and adhered it along with the stem, made from Copper Trim Ribbon, to the back of the pumpkin. The embossed leaves are from the Gathering Leaves Dies. I love that they emboss and cut at the same time.
The sentiment is from the Gather Together Stamp set. It pairs with the Gathering Leaves Dies. The sentiment is punched out using the Timeless Label Punch. I added just a touch of bling to one corner of the sentiment piece by adding a silver Metallic Pearl.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Sue Jackson at Just Peachy Stamping. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “It’s the Sentiment That Counts” – showcasing new or favorite sentiments as the focal point of their project. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
When I saw the theme for this month’s blog hop, I knew immediately the sentiment I would be showcasing. As I have gotten older I realize how fortunate I am in so many ways. One of those things I include is the stamping community of course. In that regard this sentiment speaks to me.
My Thankful sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set. It carried over to the new annual catalog and I was so happy! The new Gather Together stamp set in the Holiday Catalog pairs perfectly with it , as does the Come Gather Designer Series Paper.
As I generally do, I chose my colors from the designer series paper. Pretty Peacock is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I love how well is pairs with Mint Macaron. Looking at them separately you would not think so. I also added Sahara Sand for the pitcher and the flecks in the bouquet.
The greenery is from the Bouquet Bunch Dies. The pearls around the edges of the Stitched Rectangles are our basic Pearl colored with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I hope you will give this a try. Surprisingly they dry almost immediately.
The bit of shimmer ribbon is the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon. I added a Linen Thread bow to tie in to the Sahara Sand pitcher.
Thank you for looking at my project. I really appreciate you stopping by and I would love to see what you think.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share “My Favorite Season” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
Fall is on my mind! Not that the weather here in Georgia feels like fall, Oh My!!! But, I have another Fall card to share with you today. This one uses , as I am prone to do, the back side of a Designer Series Paper that you would not say is Fall.
I think this Linen Look DSP is gorgeous. Even with the photo, it seems you could reach out and touch it. Surprisingly it is from the Pressed Petals DSP. Several of the pages have a linen look in the background. This sheet is all linen look.
I paired the gorgeous DSP with the Harvest Hellos Bundle. It has the Apple Builder Punch and the apple and/ or pumpkin in the stamp set. The pumpkins behind are stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and colored with Pumpkin Pie stampin’ Blends. The front pumpkin is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Pumpkin Pie card stock.
The cute little “Hey There” tag is from the stamp set as well. It says “Hey There, Pumpkin”. I did not want to use all of that. To omit what I did not want, I inked the Hey There with a Black Stampin’ Write Marker. (It is the only marker you can buy individually). I stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I fed the end back into the punch to make the banner end.
Thank you for stopping in today! I hope you will come again tomorrow before the long Holiday weekend. Remember that Saturday is the last day to take advantage of this Join Promotion for Stampin’ Up! I really would love to have you on my team. Becoming a Demonstrator was one of the best choices I ever made!!

I am sharing more of Stampin’ Up!s beautiful Designer Series Paper today. And I have added some gorgeous dies that you will really want to use for Fall. Fall is right around the corner, and then holidays, Oh My!!! But let’s start with Fall.
And here is the side view of the Double Z Fold.
I love how this card stands so perfectly. I made one of these cards almost a year ago. You can view that card HERE. It was a Fall card as well.
I used the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper for this card. I paired it with Merry Merlot Card Stock, but then added the Thick Whisper White to brighten it a bit. The white leaves are cut from the Seasonal Layers Dies. The sentiment I chose , which is from the Waterfront set, fit perfectly in the one. The solid Cajun Craze leaves are from the Gathered Leaves Dies in the upcoming Holiday catalog. They are a die and embossed at the same time type die. I LOVE them!!
The only extras I added were the Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon and the one Holiday Rhinestone on the bottom white leaf. I felt it needed a touch of bling.
I hope you liked today’s project. And I hope you will return tomorrow. I have the measurements listed just below here and the supplies are at the bottom of the post.
Measurements: NOTE: the measurements for the linked card are a tad different.
Base 4 1/4 X 11 folded in half
Base of Z in Whisper White 4 X 10 1/4, scored at 2 1/2 & 5
DSP is large 3 3/4 X 5, and 2 of the small at 3 3/4 X 2 1/4
