Today’s card is using the precious Easter Bunny stamp set. This set has great versatility for any occasions that bunnies are good. The matching punch is simply a wonderful bonus!
Stamp Set
The Easter Bunny stamp set has a mix of Spring items included. All of the stamped images are from the stamp set. I love them all, but especially the sentiment. When I see that sentiment I think of baby showers for some reason. But the images would be great for any type of Spring or child occasion. My stamping of the Easter eggs was a tad high on the grass, but I am good with that! All of the images are colored using Stampin’ Blends.
Punch
The Bunny Punch is still available. It was originally part of the Easter Bunny Bundle. But when they carried over to the Annual Catalog, the Bundle price went away. However it is still a wonderful price point. As I said above, all of the images are from the stamp set. But the punch only works on this one bunny. There is a second bunny stamp. So I stamped the bunny with Pecan Pie Ink and colored him with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. The butterfly is also colored using Stampin’ Blends. I punched out the bunny, and then fussy cut the butterfly. They just seem to go together.
Paper and Finishes
The paper for this card is simply card stock. I know it is shocking for me not to have at least some Designer Series Paper. With the stamping and coloring of everything, more color was not really needed. So we have Blueberry Bushel card stock as the base with the layer of Basic White that is stamped. To complete the little scene, I added one of the larger Rainbow Dots in a matching Blue.
Thank you for stopping in today!! I hope you have a fabulous weekend.

I have a quick and cute baby card to share with you today. Although if you changed the sentiment it could be for most any occasion I think.
This is from the adorably cute stamp set named Wildly Happy. It is several different animal images and each have a baby with them. I have gone back to the Annual Catalog for this stamp set. The Annual Catalog time is winding down and this may be one going away. I do not know that, but about half of the catalog generally does.
I paired the adorable elephants with the Playing With Pattern Designer Series Paper. I love this stripe! I added some Pretty Peacock cardstock as it is sadly going away for sure as it is one of the 2019-2021 In Colors. I will be sad to see all of those colors going away 🙁
The elephants are stamped and then just highlighted with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I added a few scribbles of Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend to the bottom as grass and to tie in the color. I die cut the elephants using the largest of the Stitched Shapes Circles. The addition of the stitching , as well as the size, allows these cuties to stand alone without a background layer.
To break up the stripes just a bit, I added a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock along with a smaller Terracotta Tile cardstock strip. This helped to ground the elephant layers as well as the attached circle sentiment.
Thank you for checking in today! I do very much appreciate you following my page and projects. Just a reminder of my mention above regarding the 2019-2021 In Colors retiring. They generally sell out prior to the end of the catalog. So if any of these are your favorites, I would suggest ordering now and avoid the rush and/or missing out because they are gone.

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. This month we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pals Blog Hop with “Critters” from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Many of the design team members are offering “Mystery Blog Candy” of their choice to 1 lucky winner. To play along, just leave a comment on as many blog posts as desired. A random winner will be announced on a subsequent blog post by each participating design team member. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I am playing along with the Mystery Blog Candy! So be sure and leave a comment on this post and I will pick a random winner on Friday! WooHoo!!
My “Critter” is a cute little baby chick. I have been surprised by my friends having Grand Babies lately. So I have needed Baby Cards. The Welcome Easter Stamp set is a perfect “Critter” set for all times of the year, and not just Easter. I love versatile stamp sets.
I don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but the chick’s head is raised. I stamped it on the card, but then stamped on a scrap and just cut out the head. It is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a bit of depth. It looks really cute in person.
Of course if you follow me very much, you know what my favorite kind of card is. Yes, it is a gift card holder. And this is my “Go To” layout. At least the base of it is. I sometimes just do a flap attached to the left side. Which I could have done with this card and it would look the same from the front. But I decided to add an additional fold. That is why I had to hold it closed for the photo. (I apologize for the bad manicure, I haven’t been since I had surgery!)
Here is a picture of the inside with the added fold and the gift card slot.
Do you recognize the designer series paper i have used? If you guessed the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper then you are correct! I tend to use the opposite sides of the DSP. This was a no brainer as soon as I saw the eggs. We just will not tell anyone that they are dinosaur eggs instead of chicken eggs!!
I will include the measurements and directions after the blog line up. Also the supply list is at the bottom of the post. I hope you will give this sweet stamp set another look. This card is a “One Set” card. I love sets that can stand alone. This is a good one for the beginner stamper up to the advanced stamper!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 8th, for our “Special Occasions” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects for weddings, graduation, anniversary, baby, Mother’s/Father’s Day or any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun!
4 1/4 X 10, score at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4, Fold on all the score lines.
Inside layer base is 5 1/4 X 4
DSP layer inside is 5 X 3 3/4
Front left layer base is 2 1/2 X 4
Front left DSP layer is 2 1/4 X 3 3/4
Second fold card (with chick) is 8 1/2 X 3 1/8, scored at 4 1/4
Chick layer is 3 X 4
Tip: When you fold in the gift card slot, you can add a thumb hole if you want but it is not necessary. However, do put a gift card of card stock piece in the slot as you adhere the sides with Tear & Tape. Otherwise it makes it a very snug fit and bends the front a tad bit.

I have a mixture of colors and textures for you today. I have been seeing quite a few cards with small squares layered on top of each other. That gave me the idea for this card. Although it is not squares at all.
My card and the square idea resulted in rectangle shapes. I paired the Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle dies (the largest and next size down) with the second larger of the sentiment dies. This set of dies is so versatile because of those varied size sentiment dies! I am in love with them. They are actually a Bundle with the So Sentimental stamp set.
I paired the Witty-cisms stamp set with the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper to get some bright colors. The baby carriage is colored in softer colors though. I also paired all of this with the Metallic Bakers Twine Sequin Combo from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. The two baker’s twines and the sequins are FREE with a $50.00 purchase.
Thank you so much for checking in this week. I hope you enjoyed the projects.

Today’s card is for a Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I am using a stamp set that you may not have noticed before. It is a stamp set named Hoot Hoot Hooray and is from the Beginner Brochure. This is a brochure aimed at the beginner stamper. But I love all of the stamp sets in the brochure. I will try to begin sharing more of them with you. You can see the Beginner Brochure HERE. The stamp set is in the rear of the pamplet and is so cute.
Here is the Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 409 challenge:
For the focus, I chose the Welcome baby rocky horse. I took the “baby” theme to the basics. I chose to use the old fashioned primary colors.
The background designer series paper is a new one for me. It is the See A Silhouette DSP. Oh my, I love it! The colors are all so vibrant! It worked perfectly with my primary color theme as that is what the entire pack of DSP is. A super find for me.
I masked off the sentiment which is attached to the rocky horse. I wanted them to be separate. I made a little flag to show the sentiment. I colored the rocky horse and precious teddy bear with Stampin’ Blends. Then cut everything using the Layering Circles Dies.
I have not made a square card in a little while. The sketch appeared to be square, so I liked that idea. This would be so cute tucked into a baby gift.
AND…..I got to use the new Paper Trimmer for the project. I promise you, the more I use it, the more I LOVE it!! I am so happy now that there were problems with the old one. I liked it, but this one is so much better!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow for another new project.

UPDATES:
The new Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer has been revealed!! It is available for order by Demonstrators on October 1. Here is a picture of it. I will be giving you my opinion after the beginning of the month. I cannot wait and I hope you will be just as excited! The trimmer will be available for customer orders beginning on November 1st. WooHoo!!
CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE BUNDLE: This can be ordered as a Suite Bundle with everything pictured, or individually to get just the pieces you want. The products will be available on November 1 for customers to order.
This is my second post for today. The first one was about the great specials that Stampin’ Up! has to offer. You can see that post HERE.
Today’s card is a cutie that I envisioned as soon as I saw this stamp set! And it fits with all the great updates I mentioned in the earlier post. I am OVER THE MOON for Stampin’ Up!.
With the color pallet I used, this could very easily be a baby card. That was not my intention, but all you would need is a sweet “welcome” on the inside and you are finished.
I stamped everything in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with my favorite things, the Stampin’ Blends. I colored the Moon with Dark Daffodil Delight and then added the little ring around it with the new Light So Saffron.
I am not a cow expert, but think the black and white ones are usually more black than white. I took creative license and made it white, with a touch of black. I wanted you to see all the details in the stamp. I gave her a bit of a feminine touch by adding Light Flirty Flamingo to the ears, nose, and mouth.
When I was trying to decide what else was needed, I thought of the moon and had a lightbulb moment that it needed stars. The perfect stars came from the Twinkle Builder Punch. It even has a moon that you could punch and use in place of the stamped one. I thought the stars were the perfect size.
Thank you for stopping in today. I was absent yesterday due to storm damage. Luckily it was not to the house. Sunday we had a lightning strike into the ground about ten feet from the corner of the house. It fried the air conditioner unit, cable, internet, and an electrical breaker. Thankfully we have friends who do those things and along with the cable company got up and running by the end of the day on Monday. For once I was ahead and already had scheduled Monday’s post.
My June Host Code is M2PNZPVT. Please use this code for orders under $150.00. I will have a small perk for those with orders over $50.00.
