As much as we hate the need for Sympathy Cards, we still try to make them personal and pretty. My friend who received this one loves the mountains and scenery that goes along with it.
The stamped leaves and the wood slice are from Rooted In Nature, as is the Thinking Of You. I love the font of the sentiment! I paired these with the embossed and die cut leaves from Gathered Leaves Dies.
The colors are Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede. What a great and rich set of colors. I shared the color and the beautiful leaf onto the front of the envelope as well. I love to add a stamp to the front of the envelope. I hope it tells the recipient there is something special inside.
The final touch for this card is the bow. I used several strands of the Linen Thread and tied a bow. It is adhered with another glue dot. They are my favorite for adhering small pieces.

I am showcasing the beautiful Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper today. It contains such rich colors, but then pairs those with softer colors. I focused on the softer ones for this card.
I paired the Petal Pink with the Night of Navy and I believe it worked. The side splatter look is from Petal Pink ink stamped off using the Beauty Abounds stamp set. I then used the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to flick ink on top of the stamped splatter. So some flicking and splattering on the background!
To match the daisies in the DSP, I punched a flower using the Medium Daisy Punch. I then cut it in half and used a glue dot to lay the pieces on top of each other. I added a Glitter Enamel Dot as the center and attached the flower to the DSP panel with a glue dot. The ribbon is just zigzagged and adhered with glue dots as well.
The sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set. It is stamped using Night of Navy ink and punched out with the Darling Label Punch. I punched it at an angle so that there are the ticket type corners at each end of the sentiment. I then trimmed above and below for the different look of the tag.
Thank you for stopping by today. I really do appreciate you visiting my blog. I also love to read comments on what you think of my projects. So if you have a minute, please leave a comment.
It is almost the end of the month, please remember the Designer Series Paper sale that is listed just below. I know you will love this beautiful paper.

Today is our anniversary. So I am sharing the card I made for my husband. I struggle sometimes with masculine cards, and a special one is especially difficult for me.
I bought the Rustic Retreat stamp set as a Winter / Christmas set to use. But when I was looking for the set for the anniversary card, I stumbled upon it and pulled it out. After considering, I decided it would work perfectly. At first I stamped the animals together with trees in the background. But it just did not feel right. So back to the paper trimmer and this was the result. A totally different layout than I started with!
When I searched for the proper background, I was looking for greens to match the grass in the animal squares. I couldn’t find what I liked, so then just went through all of the designer series paper. I found this piece, believe it or not, on the back side of one of the Come Sail Away DSP sheets. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be coral or something underwater. But I feel like it works perfectly.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you will return on Monday for another new project. Hope you can get some stamping in this weekend!! I am planning on it!

I frequently comment on the beauty of Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series paper. Today’s card is a showcase of some of the DSP from the Holiday Catalog.
Today’s Project is made using several pieces from the Brightly Gleaming Suite of products. The Brightly Gleaming DSP definitely lives up to it’s name! I paired it with the Copper Foil Sheets embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. The copper in both the embossed and the DSP really shine.
I cut the Copper Foil piece using the Layering Circles Dies and then embossed it with he Hammer Metal Embossing Folder. The two ornaments layered on the circle are punched using the Gleaming Ornaments Punches. The two punches come together as a Punch Pack. I adhered the larger one using Snail Adhesive and then raised the smaller one with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added just a hint of bling with the Holiday Rhinestones in the center of the small ornament.
The paper on this project is the star of the show. So I kept the rest of the card very plain. The only stamping is the sentiment. It is from a set that is fast becoming a favorite. It is the #Elfie stamp set. I stamped in Night of Navy Ink and used the Classic Label Punch to cut out the sentiment. I love the font of this sentiment!!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will try a card like this yourself. It was super quick and easy, my kind of card!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around AUTUMN. There is so much to love about the transition from summer to winter, and we are excited to share our Autumn-themed projects with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
For me Autumn or Fall is falling leaves, pumpkins, and plaid flannel shirt. So I have created a card with these things in mind. The icing on the cake is the new Mercury Vellum that Stampin’ Up! has debuted in the Holiday Catalog.
This card includes all of the things I mentioned as describing Autumn/ Fall to me. It is actually layers of the things I love. I used two different pieces of the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. The Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze background are layered with the gorgeous multi-color plaid.
The Mercury Vellum is one of my new favorites. It is a bit thicker than regular vellum card stock. I stamped on it with Black StaZon Ink. Then I used the Apple Punch from the Harvest Hellos Bundle to punch the vellum as well as the Cajun Craze layer behind it. I felt like it looked better with the Cajun Craze showing through the clear spaces than the plaid from my banner. Although there is nothing wrong with a plaid pumpkin in my book!
The apple punch includes a stem and leaf. I punched just the leaf from Pretty Peacock card stock and adhered it along with the stem, made from Copper Trim Ribbon, to the back of the pumpkin. The embossed leaves are from the Gathering Leaves Dies. I love that they emboss and cut at the same time.
The sentiment is from the Gather Together Stamp set. It pairs with the Gathering Leaves Dies. The sentiment is punched out using the Timeless Label Punch. I added just a touch of bling to one corner of the sentiment piece by adding a silver Metallic Pearl.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Sue Jackson at Just Peachy Stamping. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

This is my second card from this cute as a button Snowman Season stamp set. I clicked the “I want it all” button on this group of products!
Even with a bit of coloring using the Stampin’ Blends, this is a quick card to make. My favorite sort of project. With the limited coloring, this would be a perfect card to make multiples of!
You may not be able to see it very well in the picture. But I used the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend on the ground at his feet. I think that it works great to reflect the snow with just a couple of strokes. The hat and scarf are colored with Real Red and Bermuda Bay. TIP: I find that when coloring small spaces like this that using the small tip on the Blends works best for me. That tip is actually larger than the tip of the painting end, but because it is firm I do not run out of the lines of the small space as much.
The Designer Series Paper is from the Let It Snow DSP. The opposite side has the raised and sparkles area. But you know I love the flip sides! The coordinating colors are Real Red and Coastal Cabana. I chose to go a tad darker and used Bermuda Bay on this one.
The Real Red Curly Ribbon is such a great added element. It is a little thicker though. You almost have to raise your focal point with Stampin’ Dimensionals to keep it smooth. My knot is just a little piece cut off and tied around the main piece.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return for tomorrow’s InKing Royalty Blog Hop.

I am still playing with products from the Holiday Catalog. I think the catalogs get better with each new one! Although it is still record breaking heat here in the south, I am enjoying the holiday stamp sets. I can pretend it is at least Fall. HaHa!!! Mother Nature apparently has other ideas for us.
Hopefully this card will make you think of a nice winter day.
Your vision may not be quite the same as mine. I see this as a cup of warmth and looking out the window at a Christmas scene. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to give the window with the Toile Tidings DSP as the outside view.
I combined a couple of stamp sets in the making of this project. The ornaments are from the Christmas Gleaming Bundle. I stamped on Very Vanilla with Garden Green ink and then used the Christmas Gleaming punches to punch them out. I added Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine from the Magnolia Ribbon Pack to “hang them” from the top of the window.
The mug is from the Cup of Christmas Bundle. I used the matching dies to cut the mug from another piece of the Toile Tidings DSP. The sentiment is in the Cup of Christmas Bundle and I simply trimmed it to fit the mug.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will return tomorrow and on Wednesday is the InKing Royalty Blog Hop as well. We are half way through September, which means we are also halfway through the DSP sale. Take a look at the flyer below for a list of the DSP included in the Buy 3, Get 1 Free sale.

Since today is Friday the 13th I should have made a Halloween project to share. Poor planning on my part unfortunately. I have been playing with the new Christmas sets instead.
I adore this little Elf!! He, or she, is so cute and has really useful sentiments included in the stamp set. I started to make this as a gift tag. I had a pillow box on my desk for a different project and realized that it was sized to fit perfectly on this Kraft Pillow Box. What a great find on my part. And a super easy way to wrap a small gift or just a Random Act of Kindness type treat.
I stamped and colored the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the Stampin’ Blends. It is layered on a piece of the Wrapped In Plaid 6X6 DSP. I wrapped the Shaded Spruce Striped Ribbon as a little bow around the center for some texture.
To adhere the tag to the box, I added two pieces of the Foam Adhesive Strips down the center. These strips are great when you need to cover a bit more space. You could also use the outside “frame” from your Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. Now all that is left is to fill the box with fun treats!!
Thank you for stopping by today. Please come back on Monday and I will have a variety of different projects to share next week.

Today’s project is a CASE from the Holiday Catalog. A CASE can be pretty much anything from the card that inspires you. For me, it was the layout and especially the embossed foil more than anything.
If you would like to check out my inspiration card. It is on page 31 of the Holiday Catalog. And if you do not have a catalog or a current demonstrator, please let me know and I will get one out to you.
If you do not have it yet, I feel like the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder is a Must Have! Oh My!!! And to emboss the foil card stock is even better. It is pretty on regular card stock, but as the name implies, the metal look makes it over the top.
I stamped and fussy cut the holly on each side of the sentiment. (NOTE: The sentiment has an “&” in front of it. I did not want this on the front of my card. So I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to color the sentiment, except for the &. That way I had a clean image.) The hardest part of this piece is the straight lines I needed above and below the sentiment.
I wasn’t sure how to ground the sentiment but finally decided on the Whisper White Flax Ribbon. It was just the right thing for the idea I had in my mind.
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will come back tomorrow for another new project. All of the supplies I used today are listed at the bottom of the post. And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “It’s the Sentiment That Counts” – showcasing new or favorite sentiments as the focal point of their project. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
When I saw the theme for this month’s blog hop, I knew immediately the sentiment I would be showcasing. As I have gotten older I realize how fortunate I am in so many ways. One of those things I include is the stamping community of course. In that regard this sentiment speaks to me.
My Thankful sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set. It carried over to the new annual catalog and I was so happy! The new Gather Together stamp set in the Holiday Catalog pairs perfectly with it , as does the Come Gather Designer Series Paper.
As I generally do, I chose my colors from the designer series paper. Pretty Peacock is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I love how well is pairs with Mint Macaron. Looking at them separately you would not think so. I also added Sahara Sand for the pitcher and the flecks in the bouquet.
The greenery is from the Bouquet Bunch Dies. The pearls around the edges of the Stitched Rectangles are our basic Pearl colored with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I hope you will give this a try. Surprisingly they dry almost immediately.
The bit of shimmer ribbon is the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon. I added a Linen Thread bow to tie in to the Sahara Sand pitcher.
Thank you for looking at my project. I really appreciate you stopping by and I would love to see what you think.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share “My Favorite Season” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
