It is so hot and muggy these days here in the south that I have been wishing for Fall. In prepping for my card club and going through stamp sets, I stopped on a new one that made Fall seem a bit closer.
The stamp set I stopped on was Celebration Tidings. It is a very versatile set that pairs with the Celebration Dies that are a varying size of the same layering die. I chose to use the floral image and this gorgeous sentiment. I love the beautiful cursive font used here.
The background is the Greenery pair of Embossing folders. There are two different , smaller size, embossing folders. This is the one I named #1. Because it is narrow, it leaves a mark along the top and bottom if you use a full size layer of card stock as I did. I was careful to get the card stock centered in the die, so the line is on the top and bottom like it is supposed to be there!
The dies used for the image and the background are the Tasteful Labels Dies. The DSP is the Cinnamon Cider DSP from the 2020-2022 In Color 6×6 DSP. I adore the texture shown in the paper. I used the Banner Pick A Punch for the sentiment layer.
Thank you very much for visiting today! I love to hear from and appreciate your comments.

I had too much fun over the weekend and failed to get my post for today set up. Sorry I am late! I have a #simplestamping card for you today. It is stamps, paper, and ink.
This stamp set is perfect for more simple stamping. It is the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set. I love the flower. It is a two step flower. I stamped the stem with Granny Apple Green and then stamped the flowers with Magenta Madness. Because this is a photopolymer set, it is very easy to see through the stamp to line up where the flowers need to be.
For the sentiment, which is part of the stamp set, I stamped first with Magenta Madness. I then got the idea to stamp also with the Granny Apple Green. I simply eyeballed it to line up. Again it was easy because of the photopolymer. However, two Thanks just did not seem right, so I added the third which seemed be just right.
I was having so much fun with this stamp and the #simplestamping that I decided to do a Note card version.
The main difference with the Note Card version is the added layer of Magenta Madness, since the note card is white. And I only stamped one Thanks. I used Memento Tuxedo Black to make it pop against the bright colors.
These card are not my normal cards. I usually have more layers and embellishements. But these are also so fun to make. I love when they sort of “stand on their own” without the additions.
I would love to see your #simplestamping! Thank you for stopping in this morining. I hope your week is a good one.

I have commented a few times regarding the Peony stamp set and that it is my favorite flower. Today’s card is a bit of an elegant version using that stamp set. I rarely do cards on the elegant side. I hope you like this one.
The only item from the Peony Garden Suite that I did not use is the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. And it would have worked with this card. I just didn’t think of it.
I really adore this Dainty Diamond 3D Embossing Folder. It is pretty regardless of which side of the embossed paper you use. It is another folder that is a bit on the more subtle side. I like that very much.
The small peony flower is just so pretty. I stamped it with Gray Granite Ink and colored just the highlights of the blossom with Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. The leaves were colored using the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend. It is die cut and then raised using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and it stamped in Gray Granite as well. I stamped it towards the bottom of the card stock and then punched using the Label Me Lovely punch. The added touch is the Elegant Faceted Gem.
I wanted a bit more for grounding the sentiment and flower. So I used a 3 X 3 piece of the Peony Garden DSP. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners and then layered the Square Vellum Doily on top. This could be placed square or diamond angle. I liked the diamond better.
Thank you so much for stopping in today. I hope you like this card and will leave some comments. Please return tomorrow for another new project.

My favorite flower is a Peony. So when Stampin’ Up! debuted the beautiful Prized Peony stamp set, I knew it was coming to my house. Today’s card is the first time I have inked it up. I am in love once again!
This is another time I purchased the entire Suite of products for the Prized Peony. All of the items are wonderful. With the exception of the tag punch I used for the sentiment, everything is from the suite of products.
The colors of the Peony suite are gray and pink. I used Petal Pink and Gray Granite for the card stock colors. The DSP, Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, shares those colors as well. The ribbon is a shimmery Gray Granite.
I stamped the flower in Gray Granite Ink and colored with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend. It is die cut using the matching dies. It may be a bit hard to see in the photo, but behind the flower is the Square Vellum Doilies that are also part of the suite. The vellum is just enough for some added texture.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and it stamped in Old Olive Ink. It is punched using the Lovely Label Punch. I found a tip for the cutting of the label length from another demonstrator and then could not find it again. So I say Thank You and I apologize for not making note of your name when I saw the tip.
Stamp your sentiment and then punch with the Lovely Label punch, either side works the same. The tip is to save the little piece that was cut off. Now lay it on the strip of your sentiment at the proper length away from the sentiment to center it.
Now simply trim the strip at the outside of the little piece and then punch. You should have a perfectly centered sentiment for your project. Woohoo!!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s Pals Blog Hop. If you missed it, here is the link to my post. Click Here. There were amazing projects showcasing all of the new In Colors for 2020-2022.
My project today is sharing new Designer Series Paper and stamp sets.
I started with the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflower stamp set. It is colored with the Stampin’ Blends. And the sentiment is stamped in Granny Apple Green.
The Granny Apple is not the color green in the DSP, but I think because of the brightness it works. The DSP is Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper. The gold design is gorgeous!! Just adding a few of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots was all the card needed to finish.
Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate you looking at my posts and would love for your to give me your thoughts.

I cannot believe the time is almost here for the new Annual Catalog!! It goes live tomorrow. So I wanted to share my favorite of the “retiring” items. I know I will miss quite a few, but this DSP is probably my favorite ever. I love purples and bold. Can you guess which one it is?
I suppose the title was a bit of a hint. Yes, It is the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. Thankfully the Painted Poppies and matching dies are going to carry over into the new catalog.
For this card I showcased my favorite two pieces of the DSP. And that was hard to narrow it down to just two. But since I love purple, I went with the Purple polka dot, which is a mixture of Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bushel. The top layer has those colors as well as a couple of green and a touch of blue.
I focused with the Blackberry Bushel and Rich Razzleberry for the flowers of my stamped image. I stamped in Rich Razzleberry and used the speckled stamp to stamp the center areas with Blackberry Bushel. The leaves I stamped in Old Olive and colored using the Old Olive Stampn’ Blends.
The sentiment is from another stamp set that I am thrilled is carrying over. It is the Inspiring Iris. That is a wonderfully flexible stamp set.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you have your order ready to go for tomorrow morning, or middle of the night if you are a light sleeper 🙂 !!
