I have been focusing on holiday cards lately and now find I need quite a few birthday cards. So I have a really cute one for you today. It contains a fun stamp set and gorgeous DSP!
I really like all of the Green in the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. (And YES, it is one of the papers that are included in the 15% OFF Sale. I have all of them listed below!) The different greens were the basis of the card. I paired Pretty Peacock with Just Jade for the main colors.
All of the stamps I used are from the Dressed To Impress stamp set. For the perfume bottle, I stamped it using Just Jade Ink. I then added the squiggly to the bottle in Pretty Peacock Ink. To finish it off, I colored the remaining parts of the bottle with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blend. As I said, I LOVE how all of the greens work together! I also stamped it again on some scrap paper and fussy cut the perfume label. It is raised with a dimensional for a bit of definition. I added a few Rhinestones for some Bling! A girl definitely needs bling!
Today’s Measurements are:
4 1/4 X 11 card base
4 X 5 1/4 for white layer
Jade is 3 1/4 X 4 3/4
DSP is 3 X 4 1/2
Perfume base layer is 2 1/8 X 2 5/8
Perfume white layer is 1 7/8 X 1 3/8
sentiment base layer is 1 1/4 X 3 1/4
sentiment white layer is 1 X 3
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you like today’s project and will return tomorrow for another new card idea.

Before I get to today’s card, did you have a chance to check out the DSP sale? 15% OFF of select Designer Series Paper. I have the picture list at the bottom of today’s post and would appreciate you shopping with me.
Yesterday I shared one of the DSP’s included in the sale, the Toile Tidings DSP. Today I am sharing another one. I have used this one a couple of times. It is the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper. I am also remaking the card I shared earlier in the week. It is going from a Christmas card to a Birthday card.
I needed a birthday card for a wonderful person who is a cat lover. I couldn’t think of anything that would make a better card than this paper along with the Pampered Pets stamp set. Do you see the Pocket Flap card that I did earlier in the week? You can see that card by clicking HERE.
And here is a peek of the inside.
The earlier card did not have the focal layer on the front as an addition. I love how just that little bit totally changes the look of the card. As I said in that earlier post, this is a fold that would work for any occasion. And this card is just darn cute even if I do say so myself!
Thank you for stopping by today. I really appreciate it and your comments. I always respond to comments. I respond via email instead of on the blog post. So please don’t think I am ignoring them. I hope you have a great weekend and get some crafting in!!

I hope you found some stamp sets you loved in the 24 Hour Sale from yesterday! There were several on the list that I love and use regularly. One of the ones is the Gorgeous Posies stamp set. It can be purchased as part of a kit, or just the stamp set. I have just the stamp set and used it again today.
I wanted more of Fall colors for this card, so I went with Terracotta Tile, Mango Melody, and Just Jade. The flowers are stamped with only the Mango Melody, but they have great shading due to the stamp itself! I really love that.
As happens with me quite often, I started with one idea and then went in another direction. You cannot see from the photo, but the flower images are not stamped on the white layer. I stamped the bottom two flowers and leaves and then fussy cut them, but left them straight along the bottom. The raised center flower and pair of leaves are fussy cut and raised with dimensionals.
The background is the gorgeous Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. I love the subtle, yet detailed, embossing it gives to any project. The base card is Thick Whisper White and perfect for thinner layering. This would be a great card for multiples if you simply stamped the bottom flowers that I cut directly onto the layer. It only takes a minute to cut the single flower and pair of leaves that I raised.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you like this project. Please stop by tomorrow for another new project.

Today I am using a stamp set that I have not used previously. I love trying new sets and sharing them with you. This one is a keeper!
The image is from the new set. It is the Fancy Phrases stamp set. It bundles with the Fancy Tag Topper Punch. Except I did not use the punch. I had planned on it, but then went a different direction. Are you familiar with that happening?
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored with a few Stampin’ Blends. This card’s colors are different in that I usually choose colors from the DSP or have the colors for the card ready prior to stamping. Today I stamped and colored to see what colors I liked for the flowers. I ended up with Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. Then I added Granny Apple Green for some brightness.
The embossed layer of Granny Apple Green was made using the Greenery Embossing Folders. This is a set of two that will work with the Small Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine ( once it is available). The ribbon is the Crinkle White Seam Binding Ribbon that I colored using the Rococo Rose Light Stampin’ Blend. I really love this ribbon for that purpose! It colors so quickly and dries almost immediately.
The sentiments with the Fancy Phrases set are wonderful and are birthday related. But I needed a smaller sentiment for the area I had left. So off I go to grab my Go To for small, the Itty Bitty Birthdays set. I love all of the Itty Bitty sets. They are great to have on hand.
Thank you for stopping by today! I really appreciate it and hope you will return tomorrow.

My card today is with a bundle I have had and been a bit intimidated by. I received a card using it in the swap I mentioned earlier in the week that I shared my Tinsel In A Tangle card. The card I received was from fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Jackie Roberts. So I decided to CASE her card. Oh My !!
This die is the Many Layers Blossoms and bundles with the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set. (I only used the dies today.) I love the look of this card and the layers of the flowers! But those little pieces got called lots of not nice names! It was my own fault for not running it through the cutter a couple of times. I normally do not need to run through more than once. Especially with the New AWESOME Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. But…..I used the adhesive sheet so I would not make a mess with glue on that delicate top piece. Little tiny pieces of die cut and the adhesive sheets like to hang on to each other!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I love and use both of the products regularly!!! Even with the time it took on those tiny pieces, I am thrilled with the card!! And I would do it again.
The colors I chose for my monochromatic card are Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Purple Posy. I love the different shades and they are perfect together. I didn’t want to add a new color into the mix and that caused me some thought for the sentiment. I ended up going with Purple Posy card stock embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It turned out very “Soft”. I could have used one of the darker card stocks and the embossing would have been a bit darker.
For the finishing touches I added pearls to the center of the larger flowers. I also added one to the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Here”s A Card stamp set. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it with.
Thank you for stopping by. Please let me know your thoughts on the card and the dies. I hope you will come back on Monday for another new project!

Sunday was my Stamp Club meeting and one of the ladies had a birthday (Faye!). Her favorite color is Purple! So I made her a Highland Heather Birthday Card.
The stamp set is Tasteful Touches. I have not used it but once or twice, but in making this card, I came to love those flowers. I stamped it on and half off the paper. They are colored with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. I went around the dark areas with the darker blend and then over the entire flower with the lighter one.
I used Highland Heather card stock as the base. The Whisper White narrow layer showing is to help pop the white from the Gorgeous Grape DSP. It is from the Brights Designer Series Paper 6×6 Pack.
To add some extra texture, I added the Square Vellum Doily behind the center piece. It is placed in a diamond orientation. The final touch is the Epoxy Drops to each flower center. The frosted drops seem to match the Vellum Doily.
Measurements:
8 1/2 X 5 1/2 base of Highland Heather
4 1/8 X 5 3/8 layer of Whisper White
4 X 5 1/4 layer of Brights DSP
4 5/8 X 2 1/4 layer of Highland Heather
4 1/2 X 2 1/8 focal layer of Whisper White
Thank you very much for stopping in today. I love reading your comments. It may not appear that I respond to comments, but please know that I definitely do!! I send an email Thanking each person for their comment.
I hope you will come back tomorrow as it is the August InKing Royalty Blog Hop. There will be a lot of great ideas for you to see.
