Ombre Gift Bag

Have you gotten through the new Annual Catalog?  I find something new and add to my wish list every time I go through it.  Today’s project is a partner to the card I shared yesterday.  You can see that card HERE if you missed it.

A Quick Gift

The star of this project is this gorgeous Ombre Gift Bag.  The pack contains 4 each of the 5 New 2021-2023 In Colors.  So 20 bags for a low price of $6.00.  That is a deal to me.  The bags measure 4 3/4 X 7, so they are plenty roomy for any small gift.  Even a cookie would be a sweet treat in this bag.

I used all of the same stamps and colors as the card from yesterday.  The flower is from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set.  The Polished Pink and Soft Succulent really compliment each other.  And the larger flower on the tag is proportioned well for the size of the bag.

New Punch

The focal part of the tag is the stamped area.  But did you notice the fancy top of the tag?  It is the new Elegant Tag Punch.  It comes as part of a bundle and part of a Suite of products.  Punches are always a favorite of mine.

This one is special in that you can make the tag as long as you wish.  It is designed to feed in and punch the top, but the tail of the paper can extend beyond the punch.  The only requirement is that the width of the paper be  1 3/4 or smaller.  My tag measures 1 3/4 X 4 1/2 before punching the top.

Finishing Touches

Today’s finishing touches are two different ones.  I added the matching Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon that I used on the card from yesterday.  This tag has a simply bow as that is all it really needed.  I also added the Bumblebee Trinket again.  These little guys are so stinkin’ cute!!

The finish of the bag is to simply fold it over.  I added the tag with a single Stampin’ Dimensional.  The weight of the tag , along with creasing the bag fold, keeps the bag closed very well.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I really appreciate your visits and comments.  The companion projects are to share with you how everything with Stampin’ Up! products pair so easily.  All of today’s supplies are listed at the bottom of the post.

A Quick Gift Card / Tag

I made this little gift tag for a party recently.  It would also be a great little gift enclosure or a RAK card.  It is Quick, Easy, and Cute!

I made this one with a gift tag in mind, so I added a string of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  It is the same size as a gift card or RAK 3 X 3 card.

I broke out a carry over from the last Holiday Catalog, Dashing Deer.  Remember that beautiful deer we all used last year?  This little deer is in the set as well.  The DSP is from Toile Tidings.

The card base is cut 6 X 3 with DSP cut 2 3/4 X 2 3/4, and the white cut to 2 1/2 X 2 1/2.  I used Real Red Ink for everything.  It cannot get much easier than this!

The list below is the CARRYOVER List.  Items from the Holiday Catalog that will carry over to the 2020 Holiday Catalog.  They will not be orderable between the two catalogs however.

Christmas Tag & Treat Box

Since today is Friday the 13th I should have made a Halloween project to share.  Poor planning on my part unfortunately.  I have been playing with the new Christmas sets instead.

I adore this little Elf!!  He, or she, is so cute and has really useful sentiments included in the stamp set.  I started to make this as a gift tag.  I had a pillow box on my desk for a different project and realized that it was sized to fit perfectly on this Kraft Pillow Box.  What a great find on my part.  And a super easy way to wrap a small gift or just a Random Act of Kindness type treat.

I stamped and colored the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the Stampin’ Blends.  It is layered on a piece of the Wrapped In Plaid 6X6 DSP.   I wrapped the Shaded Spruce Striped Ribbon as a little bow around the center for some texture.

To adhere the tag to the box, I added two pieces of the Foam Adhesive Strips down the center.  These strips are great when you need to cover a bit more space.  You could also use the outside “frame” from your Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.    Now all that is left is to fill the box with fun treats!!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Please come back on Monday and I will have a variety of different projects to share next week.

Something For You

I am sharing something a bit different today.  I am showing you the June Paper Pumpkin Kit, or at least part of it.  In case you do not subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, it is a box of wonderful products that arrives in your mailbox once a month.  We do not know ahead of time what is in the box.  Generally it is cards with all of the embellishments, glue dots, ink, and a stamp set.  The June PP was one I really LOVE!!!  It included mini cards to keep in a little folder in your purse.  I love having the 3 X 3 cards in my purse to hand out to folks that I appreciate when I am running errands.  This little pocket will be wonderful to hold those.

The little blue folder is the holder and these are two of the cards in the kit that I put together.  I never make them exactly as the pictures show!

I also made one of my 3 X 3 cards to go in the pouch as well.  Here it is.

I made several of this little card for my purse stash.  I used the wonderful new Host Rewards Stamp Set named Time For Tags.  The stamps match the Timeless Label Punch that is also new.

For this card I used Whisper White as the card base and layered the new 2019-2021 In Color 6 X 6 Designer Paper stack.  I stamped the image with Terracotta Tile Ink and then colored it with Stampin’ Blend Markers.  To give a little bit of different color behind the tag, I added a Mossy Meadow punch with the Story Label Punch.  It partners very well with the Timeless Label Punch.

I hope you will consider making the 3 X 3 cards to have on hand “Just Because”.  It is a nice way to hopefully brighten someone’s day.  They also are perfect as Gift Tags.  And it is easy to match your gift decoration.

Merry Christmas Eve!

I usually have some baked goods to give as Host gifts during the holidays with a cute gift tag I make. This year I have not made very much.  I do have some for tomorrow, so of course I had to make a cute tag to go with it.  To me, tags are simply miniature cards.  At least the one I made today is designed like that.

So Santa, 147821

I think these Santas are just adorable and will really miss this great stamp set when it retires.  When I first saw this cute guy I knew immediately he would be on my baked goods tags.  I could not resist.

The stamping and layout are very simple for this.  If I needed quite a few of these I really would not want to spend a lot of time making them.  This one is stamped, colored with Stampin’ Blends, and then layered.  That is all it took.

Thank you so much for stopping in today.  I hope you are having a great holiday and will continue to enjoy time with family and friends.  I will have a quick post tomorrow for your morning coffee.  I will be sharing the Christmas card I mailed out this year.  As always, the complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.
