Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Autumn Weather, so prepare yourself for projects that are filled with warm tones and beautiful nods to the upcoming change in weather. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
To get my mind into the Fall weather, I used a mix of Annual Catalog and the Mini Catalog. I have paired old and new and the layout is a really good one for most stamps and occasions. But the most important items are the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Colors that I have used. They are beautiful individually, but really shout FALL when together.
This is one of my most favorite cards ever! I love the details of the embossed layer as well as the definition on the leaves. Not to mention the sentiment! You cannot go wrong with an encouraging word or two.
I started with the Love of Leaves Bundle. It was at the top of my list from the Mini Catalog. The distinctive stamping of the leaves is only topped by the detail in the dies. I did tone on tone with the new In Colors of Just Jade, Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider. The background circle is also Bumblee card stock.
The embossed Sahara Sand piece is done using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I LOVE the look of this. It has So Much detail to it.
The banner is cut using the Banners Pick A Punch. The sentiment is from the Love of Leaves stamp set as well. The finishing touch is a few of the Champagne Rhinestones in a few places.
NOTE: Do not throw away your negatives from die cutting the leaves. I have an added extra to share with you tomorrow by using those negatives! So stop back in tomorrow for a bonus idea.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Shawn de Oliveira at Shawn Stamps. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
Sunday was my Stamp Club meeting and one of the ladies had a birthday (Faye!). Her favorite color is Purple! So I made her a Highland Heather Birthday Card.
The stamp set is Tasteful Touches. I have not used it but once or twice, but in making this card, I came to love those flowers. I stamped it on and half off the paper. They are colored with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. I went around the dark areas with the darker blend and then over the entire flower with the lighter one.
I used Highland Heather card stock as the base. The Whisper White narrow layer showing is to help pop the white from the Gorgeous Grape DSP. It is from the Brights Designer Series Paper 6×6 Pack.
To add some extra texture, I added the Square Vellum Doily behind the center piece. It is placed in a diamond orientation. The final touch is the Epoxy Drops to each flower center. The frosted drops seem to match the Vellum Doily.
Measurements:
8 1/2 X 5 1/2 base of Highland Heather
4 1/8 X 5 3/8 layer of Whisper White
4 X 5 1/4 layer of Brights DSP
4 5/8 X 2 1/4 layer of Highland Heather
4 1/2 X 2 1/8 focal layer of Whisper White

I think the new Nothing Better Than Bundle is so stinking cute! It has cute sentiments and matching designs. Today’s version is a cutie.
The chocolate with Melon Mambo reminds me of the Whtman’s Samplers boxes of chocolates my Mom loved when I was growing up. I knew if they had any “color” on them, that it wasn’t just chocolate. I remember biting into a few and then putting them back ! 🙂
To replicate the fruity chocolates, I stamped the solid image with Soft Suede and then the outline with Melon Mambo. I love the photopolymer stamps for making this type stamping so easy to get just right.
The banner is a scrap of In Color Brights 6×6 DSP . I just trimmed it a touch down to 2″ and used the Banner Triple Punch. The “Chocolate” is stamped on a strip of Whisper White cut 3/4 X 2 1/4. Again, I could place it perfectly on a small strip due to being able to see through the stamp.
Thank you for stopping by today. I really appreciate it. I hope my chocolate card reminds you of your favorite candies.

Today’s card is a quick, cute and easy to make multiples of. I am using the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes. The star of this card though is “leftovers” from other cards. I love “Leftovers” !!!
The “Leftover” is the DSP in the center. If you are a regular follower of my posts, you may recognize it from Wednesday’s Pal Blog Hop. This is the die cut center of the “frame” for Santa Claus. You can see that post HERE.
I keep all of my pieces that are die cut leftovers in a little basket on my desk. I was looking for a quick, but cute, card for today and spied this piece. I added the background of Real Red card stock for a bit more color. The ornament is from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and is punched with the small ornament punch. (This is one of the Returning Favorites Bundles in the Mini Catalog)
The ornament is stamped in Real Red and colored with the Light Just Jade Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the sentiment and since it is just a rectangle, cut it out with my paper snips. To give it the backing, I simply adhered it to the Real Red card stock and fussy cut again. The finishing touch of the ribbon bow is a cutie! It is from the Playful Pets Trim Combo and has been used on many other projects.
Thank you for visiting today. I really appreciate it and would love for you to leave me a comment.

It is so hot and muggy these days here in the south that I have been wishing for Fall. In prepping for my card club and going through stamp sets, I stopped on a new one that made Fall seem a bit closer.
The stamp set I stopped on was Celebration Tidings. It is a very versatile set that pairs with the Celebration Dies that are a varying size of the same layering die. I chose to use the floral image and this gorgeous sentiment. I love the beautiful cursive font used here.
The background is the Greenery pair of Embossing folders. There are two different , smaller size, embossing folders. This is the one I named #1. Because it is narrow, it leaves a mark along the top and bottom if you use a full size layer of card stock as I did. I was careful to get the card stock centered in the die, so the line is on the top and bottom like it is supposed to be there!
The dies used for the image and the background are the Tasteful Labels Dies. The DSP is the Cinnamon Cider DSP from the 2020-2022 In Color 6×6 DSP. I adore the texture shown in the paper. I used the Banner Pick A Punch for the sentiment layer.
Thank you very much for visiting today! I love to hear from and appreciate your comments.

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “My Happiest Season.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I love Christmas, and always have. I even collect Santa Claus figures of any kind. To choose my favorite season of the year there was no question what my card would be about. It was just down to which stamp set to use.
I went with the Don’t Stop Believin’ Stamp Set from the Mini Catalog. I could not resist this Santa image. I love all of the images in the set, but this one was tops. It is a fairly large stamp and I wanted it to be the focal point. Saying that, I ended up adding several extras. But I think he is still the star. I stamped Santa with Smoky Slate Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The fur and his beard have a touch of Wink Of Stella for some shine.
To cut the “frame” for Santa, I used the new Celebration Labels Dies. I cut the opening from Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper. I also used the Foam Adhesive Strips to raise the cut out from underneath. This is a great alternative to using quite a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The holly is from one of the Returning Favorites stamp sets. It is from Christmas Gleaming. I was so happy that set was one of the returning ones. I used those holly leaves several times last year. The holly and berries are colored using Stampin’ Blends.
The finishing touches are the ribbon and sentiment. The white ribbon is one of three from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Bundle. I paired it with the red from Playful Pets Trim Combo. And finally the sentiment is from the Don’t Stop Believin’ set. I cut it with one of the Layering Ovals. I don’t usually leave a sentiment a single layer like this. But I didn’t want to add any more layers to this one.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Please leave a comment and let me know your favorite Santa!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
