I have a little bit of an offset front card to share today. I am not sure what to really call it. It is very similar to my favorite gift card holder.
As I share the card, I realized I did not take a photo of the inside. But I believe you can see where the front of the card is shorter than the back and the sentiment layer is still centered on the front to cover both front and back. The inside layer has the DSP on the right hand side and a section to write on is to the left. I will give you the measurements below.
I used the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper for most of the card. The background paper is the DSP and the hummingbird is cut from another piece of the Mosaic Mood DSP.
I used the Painted Labels Dies for the backing of the sentiment layer. The intricate circle is also from that die set. The sentiment is on a Layering Circle. The sentiment , which I love, is from the Meant To Be Stamp set.

I have recently been sharing with you products that are retiring. Today I have one of the new stamp sets and dies that are available as a Sneak Peek, and will be in the upcoming Annual Catalog. I cannot believe that the new Annual Catalog will debut in a month. Wow!!
The delicate decorations of the Seaside Spray background layer is cut using the Ornate Layers Dies. I found that the Stitched Rectangle Dies fit perfectly inside of that gorgeous lacy look die. I love when I find great pairings like this.
The stamped image was kept very clean and simple. I more wanted to showcase the die. The stamped image is from Ornate Styles stamp set. The simple Hello came from the Honey Bee stamp set, which is sadly retiring. I lightly colored the daisy with the Stampin’ Blends. I only colored the “highlights” of the petals and not the entire petal.

I used the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper, which was already on my desk. Or I should say, was Still on my desk, from the other day. I used two separate pieces that were already cut to make the layers.
The sentiment is from the Share Sunshine PDF and is cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Yesterday’s card used two different dies from the same die set.
Such a quick card to make and so dang cute!!

I am back to the gorgeous designer series paper today. I have used the Pressed Petals DSP probably more than any from the current catalog. I love all of the colors that are in it! You can pair a favorite, or one you hardly ever use, to make special cards. This one for today would cheer up someone’s day whether they are ill, having a difficult time, or during this situation could just use a HUG! I know I could use a Hug occasionally!.
The sentiment and dies are from the So Sentimental bundle, and “YAY” they are carrying over to the new catalog. Those shapes are wonderful together or separately.
The Blueberry Bushel card stock and ink however are retiring. They are part of the 2018-2020 In Colors. The ribbon in Blueberry Bushel as well as the Whisper White Flax ribbon are both retiring. I adore that White Flax ribbon. The Burlap version of that ribbon is retiring also. Both are so great for a little bit of texture, like I used it today.

I have quite a lot of retiring Designer Series Paper leftover. So I will be using some of that in the coming month. Today’s project is a great way to use scraps of paper. Quite often I do not have enough to make a full layer on a card. This layout today only requires half of a layer.
I used two pieces of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. You could only use the bottom section of DSP and leave the top as card stock. But I love mixing two different patterns.
The stamp set I used is on the Retiring List as well. It is the I Say Hello set. It has great little sentiments that are “just right”!
The ribbon is a perfect match to the Magnolia DSP . However, it is a new ribbon. It is part of the Ornate Garden Suite. You can see that flyer further down on this post.
To make the cuts, I used the New Paper Trimmer. because the lines are marked well all the way down the trimmer. I placed the piece of DSP in the center of the trimmer. Place the top left corner of the DSP against the 3″ line and the top right corner against the 1 1/2″ line. Cut. This looks like you are almost cutting it in half, but it gives just enough of the angle I wanted. You can play with the measurements to get sharper angles.
