First thing today I have a reminder about Sale-A-Bration! This is the last few days to get these items at no cost! And there are a few of the second release products that are active in catalogs right now. What a bonus! So don’t miss out. And reach out to me if you have any questions.
Today I am sharing the Spring Corners Bundle and pairing it with a beautiful DSP from SAB. This is one of the fabulous products from this last release of Online Products. They are fun and exciting stamp sets with matching Dies. Plus more are coming in March. The bright Sale-A-Bration DSP pairs perfectly with this fun stamp set.
STAMPS& DIES
The Spring Corners Bundle has a couple of corner sentiments in addition to images that pair with those sentiments. For the front of the I had to use one of the corner sentiments. I think that is such a refreshing idea. And then the group of balloons reinforces the “amazing day” idea.
These stampings are done with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink . Then the balloons are colored using Stampin’ Blends. Those colors are pulled form the DSP. This gave me all kinds of color options. So I chose Melon Mambo, Peach Pie, and Shy Shamrock for the balloon colors. These balloons are also stamped on the inside of the card along with a Happy Birthday. For the front the balloons are Die cut with a matching Die. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals under the balloons for depth, but left the bottom free. That allows the bow to sit a little bit flatter.
PAPERS
This unusual mix of cardstock colors are both pulled from the floral piece of DSP. I have been on a Blueberry Bushel kick of late and continued that here. It is just a bright and happy blue. Then to soften things for the DSP pieces, I went with Peach Pie for the layer. It acts as the leading in the stain glass pieced top layer.
The DSP is from the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration. I love these flowers. They are a mix of Brights but with almost all of the color families represented. This makes it so simple to create a variety of cards using different card bases.
The top layer is created with a piece of Peach Pie measuring 4 X 5 1/4. The DSP is all 1″ widths. The top left is 1 X 1, the floral piece is 1 X 4, and the bottom one is 2 3/4 X 1. (Always be careful with your cutting if using directional paper! ) Then the Basic White section is 2 3/4 X 4 to stamp the sentiment.
EXTRAS
There are two Extras, bling and sweet ribbon. The ribbon is the new Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon. I love this narrow ribbon. It is a breeze to tie a bow with. And then of course bling. Today I chose to use Rhinestones. A sparkle is always needed for a celebration.
Here is the inside view of the card.

I have been behind on my promotion of SAB. And sadly it is coming to a close on Friday. The card I am sharing contains one of the most popular of the SAB items. It is the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series paper. This paper is so fun and can be used for almost any card idea.
STAMPS& PUNCH
The fabulous sentiment has stolen the show on this card! That fun font of the Poppin’ Up is one of the best I have seen. It is from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set. As are the fun mushrooms and grass stamps.
The mushrooms are stamped with Poppy Parade ink and Melon Mambo ink. I love the addition of the bright green of the grass or leaf image. Those are stamped using Granny Apple Green. And the stems, plus the sentiment, are stamped using Early Espresso Ink.
The mushrooms have a punch that punches the mushroom head and stem. This punch does not leave a white outline, so it really makes it easier to line up without that worry. I have used Stampin’ Dimensionals under the head of the larger mushroom to add some depth. And the fabulous sentiment layer is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.
PAPERS
These fun DSP sheets just make me smile! The colors remind me of the 1970’s and I remember wearing all of those colors. Personally I love the mix of orange and pink. The different greens just brings everything together. These DSP sheets are from Sale-A-Bration. The Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper is a Free product with a qualifying order through the end of February. So only a few days left.
The DSP strips are where all of the colors of the card were pulled from. I went with a very light card base of Fresh Freesia. It really pulls that color from the two DSP sheets. The sentiment layer is also a piece of the DSP. Stamping on the DSP always seems so special.
EXTRAS
The mushrooms are layered onto a Basic White die cut from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. These fun circles all have different details around the edge. It adds an extra touch. And for the bling I went with a single Sunny Day Iridescent Dots. The orange really pops with all of the colors.

You are getting a couple of sneak peeks of upcoming Online Exclusives. I have gone a bit overboard on the demonstrator pre order on this upcoming release. It is fabulous. The card I am sharing is a case of the sample card when this goes Live next month.
STAMPS
These trees are from the upcoming Online Exclusive stamp set Wooded Acres. I love the simple tree textures. However there is almost the exact stamp, but with full leaves, included in the set. It is a two stamp set. And after this card I am really excited to play with it even more.
The trees are stamped using Pebbled Path Ink. I believe it gives it the far off in the distance look without being too bold. If you look at the trio of trees on the bottom right and add them to the edge of the left side, that is the length of the stamp. So you can see how I stamped it off the paper with every inking.
The sentiment is from another of the preorder Online Exclusives. It is from a large Suite of products. This sentiment is from the Textured Notes stamp set. And like I said, it is a large Suite that you will fall in love with if you like natural and texture.
PAPERS& INKS
There are no special papers today. I used Berry Burst cardstock as the base with Wild Wheat cardstock for the narrow layer. Then I created the stamped background with inks and blending brushes. In my mind, it is a sunset view in the mountains.
The bottom section is a light coloring using Wild Wheat Ink. Next is the sunset using Berry Burst Ink. Finally the sky is Misty Moonlight. All of the colors were done fairly lightly.
EXTRAS
To tie in all of the ink colors I added the Natural Tones Linen Thread in the dark blue. I had used the other two ink colors with matching paper. But had not used a blue paper. So a wrap around and a bow took care of the blues.
The final touch is the bling! I used the Sale-A-Bration Purple Adhesive Sequins scattered around. There are different shades of purple/pink sequins in the package. I used three different shades to go along with my color shading.

I am sharing a card made with a couple of the new additions to the Sale-A-Bration options. The new additions are all wonderful products and some are from current catalogs. That is not a regular occurrence. My card idea showcases the new Beautiful Butterflies Bundle and the Happy Labels Punch.
STAMP BUNDLE
The Beautiful Butterflies Bundle is a winner in my book. It includes the awesome stamp set with gorgeous butterflies. (The smallest is shown lighting on my banner) Plus a matching Die set, and a Hybrid Embossing Folder. I have used the embossing folder as my layer here. You can see the amazing details.
This background needed a bold sentiment as I wasn’t really adding a focal layer of the normal kind. The sentiment and the butterfly are from the stamp set. The butterfly is fussy cut as there is not a matching Die for it. But it is a quick one to cut out.
The stamp set is the only part of the bundle that has been added to the Sale-A-Bration options. If you choose this, with a qualifying order, remember to use the product number on the flyer or on your computer in the options. Do not use the catalog product number.
PAPERS
This idea of a simple but bold card first started with what color to use. I chose Granny Apple Green as the card base and Lemon Lolly for the layer. With some colors, the Lemon Lolly seems very light and does not really stand out. I was very pleased that it does stand out with the Granny Apple Green. To make a different type layer for the sentiment, I also used more of the Granny Apple Green. Color wise this is a simple card with only a couple of colors and no pattern papers.
EXTRAS
The first Extra is the second of the new Sale-A-Bration Options. It is the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I cut the two layers for the sentiment and then punched the ends of both using the larger of the ticket look. The White is 3 3/4 X 3/4 and the Granny Apple Green is 4 X 1, or roughly those dimensions before punching.
To add sparkle and bling I went with two different options, but both are silver. The first is the ribbon. It is the White and Silver Ribbon. I love the shine it brings to the card. And then to add more silver shine, I opted to use the adhesive backed Sparkle Gems. These have several base colors and I used the silver one. You should see three of them scattered around.

The Friendly Seagulls stamp set from Sale-A-Bration is one that makes me smile every time I look at it. I am a huge french fry fan and apparently so are these guys. This card is one that only takes a couple of products to create. And when you add a Free stamp set, it is definitely a winner!
STAMPS
There is one additional stamp set used in addition to Friendly Seagulls. It is the texture around the edges of the Crumb Cake card base. This stamp is from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set. I used tone on tone to add this texture.
The Friendly Seagull is stamped on a scrap Basic White and then fussy cut. He is colored with Stampin’ Blends. The french fry box is as well. I love the flock of birds in the top left as an addition for distance. And stamping them off of the “scene” area is something I like to do. I have a painting that has part of the picture painted on the matting. This made me think of that.
The sentiment is fun and bold. So it needed to stand alone. I stamped the two parts and then did straight cuts, no fussy cutting, to keep it simple. The way they are placed makes it seem as if the seagull is shouting out his love of fries. Except for having his mouth full of them. 🙂
PAPERS
This is one of the simplest cards in regard to papers. There are only two. The Crumb Cake card base and then the Basic white for everything else. I used scraps for the seagull, fries, and sentiments. Since I stamp almost every day, I have a ton of scraps from cutting paper. I try to keep them under control but White is the one that can quickly become overloaded!
EXTRAS
The special part of the card is the Pool Party square. This is such a fun and easy technique. I inked the Clear Block D with Pool Party ink, stamped off, and then stamped onto my square of Basic White. And that is my ocean. To add some texture, and bling, I added a trio of the Antique Pearls to the bottom. The seagull is popped up with dimensionals and the fries are glued down. So the pearls are in between the two in terms of height.

I have matched the Citrus Blooms set with the fun Sale-A-Bration Fruit Salad DSP. They are perfect pairing for a sweet card.
Speaking of SAB, have you seen the new February additions? Oh My!!! There are several from Current catalogs in the list. Just remember that there are different product numbers on the SAB sheet for these products. If you use the catalog number they will show up as a price and not Free. Here is the flyer.
Now here is the focus of today’s post.
STAMPS& DIES
The Citrus Blooms stamp set from the Annual Catalog seemed a great pairing to go with these fun papers. Plus I just love the fruit images. And I love to color. This orange is colored with Stampin’ Blends to look somewhat like an orange.
Those little stars, I believe they are supposed to be little flowers, are from the matching Die set. I think they make a great addition of color and texture for the card. And the sentiment is from the set as well. I think it is an especially nice sentiment for a friend or as a Thank You.
PAPERS
These two different DSP pieces are from the Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper pack from Sale-A-Bration. The color are what made me look for a piece of fruit to pair with them. That and the Fruit Salad name of course! I paired Lemon Lime Twist for the card base with Basic White between the DSP layers. The addition of the Daffodil Delight stars ties everything together easily.
EXTRAS
There are actually a few Extras today. First is the punch for the sentiment. This is the Labeled With Love Punch. It is a great size and I really like the touches on the ends for a little more detail. The stars probably count as some extra. But I still had to add some bling. So there are a scattering of Gold Textured Adhesive Dots to add some shine.
MEASUREMENTS
To give you info on the layers, I have the measurements for you. The card base is 4 1/4 X 11, folded at 5 1/2. The first White layer is 4 X 5 1/4. And the yellow DSP is 3 7/8 X 5 1/8. The second White is 3 1/4 X 4 1/2 with the green at 3 1/8 X 4 3/8. You all know how much I love layers!!
