Today’s card is a little humor and little Get Well. I laugh every time I look at the Back On Your Feet stamp set. The critters are just adorable and the sayings match perfectly. Sadly, I have only used it a few times. A Friend had an accident last week so I knew this was the set to pull out.
I love Mr. Turtle and his facial expression! And when I was looking for the proper background paper, I saw this and knew I had found the proper one. With the bruising in mind, that was what I saw in this paper. When the bruises turn all of those exciting blues and greens, with a purple added in! Yes, my friend has those.
This paper is from the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper. It is another of my “back side of the paper” finds. The front , sort of embossed, side would have worked also, but I liked this one a bit better. Plus it had the green I used for the turtle.\
Thank you for stopping in today! I very much appreciate it and hope you are having a good day.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. Hop, hop! This month’s projects celebrate Easter, so prepare yourself for a variety of gorgeous, Easter-themed projects. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I have once again matched the color of the Hop Banner, without knowing ahead of time what it is. Hopefully that is a good sign for my projects I have to share. I rarely do two projects, but I have broken that today.
First here is my card for the Easter theme.
I paired the Cross of Hope Dies, from the Annual Catalog, with the Welcome Easter stamp set . I really love that particular cross from the dies. Those dies are definitely a keeper. My color choices for the card along with the bunny and lamb, come from childhood memories. My Mom loved any shade of purple. So all of my Easter dresses growing up, at least while I was younger, were shades of purple. I knew that had to be the base of my Easter card.
My second project is a little variation of a recent project from The Paper Pixie. Julie’s Easter Mini Gift Bag, you can see her post HERE, was my idea for an Easter basket. The only problem was I didn’t have candy that fit that size. However, I found something that fit perfectly without shortening the size of the basket, which is now a bag.
Can you tell what is inside? Yes, it is a Bath & Body Hand Sanitizer. I know they cannot be found right now. But as a crafter, I had several in my craft room for projects. Now you know that they fit perfectly inside this bag.
I used the Coastal Weave embossing folder and the card stock measurements Julie gives fit perfectly inside the embossing folder. The handle I is the Braided Linen Trim. I have included in my supply list the items used for both projects.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Ann Murray at Murray Stamps Ink. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. This month we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pals Blog Hop with “Critters” from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Many of the design team members are offering “Mystery Blog Candy” of their choice to 1 lucky winner. To play along, just leave a comment on as many blog posts as desired. A random winner will be announced on a subsequent blog post by each participating design team member. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I am playing along with the Mystery Blog Candy! So be sure and leave a comment on this post and I will pick a random winner on Friday! WooHoo!!
My “Critter” is a cute little baby chick. I have been surprised by my friends having Grand Babies lately. So I have needed Baby Cards. The Welcome Easter Stamp set is a perfect “Critter” set for all times of the year, and not just Easter. I love versatile stamp sets.
I don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but the chick’s head is raised. I stamped it on the card, but then stamped on a scrap and just cut out the head. It is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a bit of depth. It looks really cute in person.
Of course if you follow me very much, you know what my favorite kind of card is. Yes, it is a gift card holder. And this is my “Go To” layout. At least the base of it is. I sometimes just do a flap attached to the left side. Which I could have done with this card and it would look the same from the front. But I decided to add an additional fold. That is why I had to hold it closed for the photo. (I apologize for the bad manicure, I haven’t been since I had surgery!)
Here is a picture of the inside with the added fold and the gift card slot.
Do you recognize the designer series paper i have used? If you guessed the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper then you are correct! I tend to use the opposite sides of the DSP. This was a no brainer as soon as I saw the eggs. We just will not tell anyone that they are dinosaur eggs instead of chicken eggs!!
I will include the measurements and directions after the blog line up. Also the supply list is at the bottom of the post. I hope you will give this sweet stamp set another look. This card is a “One Set” card. I love sets that can stand alone. This is a good one for the beginner stamper up to the advanced stamper!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 8th, for our “Special Occasions” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects for weddings, graduation, anniversary, baby, Mother’s/Father’s Day or any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun!
4 1/4 X 10, score at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4, Fold on all the score lines.
Inside layer base is 5 1/4 X 4
DSP layer inside is 5 X 3 3/4
Front left layer base is 2 1/2 X 4
Front left DSP layer is 2 1/4 X 3 3/4
Second fold card (with chick) is 8 1/2 X 3 1/8, scored at 4 1/4
Chick layer is 3 X 4
Tip: When you fold in the gift card slot, you can add a thumb hole if you want but it is not necessary. However, do put a gift card of card stock piece in the slot as you adhere the sides with Tear & Tape. Otherwise it makes it a very snug fit and bends the front a tad bit.

I adore the cute little critters in the Bonanza Buddies Suite of products. I wholeheartedly agree they are for ANY age!! Hopefully you agree and will give this cute card a try.
I love the Toucan. He is so cute and struts around saying “look at me”! I debated between the balloons or gifts as the background from the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper. I liked the brighter colors of the gifts to match the proud fellow’s coloring.
The folded tag on the front is a new favorite technique. I hope you love it as much as I do once I explain it. I used the tag from the Bonanza Dies but just a little bit differently. I took a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 (more because it was what was laying there!) and it happened to fit perfectly. I folded it in half and layed it on the die. Where I did not want it to cut on the left side, I used removable tape to hold it in place. I placed the folded edge of card stock as close against the cutting edge as I could . I wanted the stitched detail to still be there. It worked perfectly! Woohoo! I love when ideas turn out well.
Here is a picture of the inside of the tag.
Because I wanted to be able to open the tag, I could not do a normal loop of ribbon through the hole at the top. A quick fix was a tiny bow that I secured with a glue dot just above the hole. This is layered on a full card so you still have the inside for normal sentiment and your love.
Thanks for stopping by today! All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the post. I appreciate any comments and I do respond. I usually respond to the email and not from my blog. I am usually on my phone and not the computer after I do my posts.

I have received my preorder of the new releases for February that I have showing at the bottom of the post. One of my favorites, (WELL, truthfully I love all of them!), is the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. It is designed to match punches in the Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalogs. To showcase it I have a card I paired the DSP with an Annual Catalog stamp set.
I adore this DSP! It takes me back to the late 60’s when I had a pair of jeans that looked pretty much like this paper. Yikes! The DSP pairs with the Small Bloom Punch in the SAB catalog. It is going to carry over to the next Annual Catalog, so keep that in mind when choosing your SAB rewards!!
This card is for a young lady who loves cats and I was thinking of her when I was creating. So I paired a fun paper with the cute Nine Lives stamp set. It’s a simple card but with a layout that has unending possibilities.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please return tomorrow for another new project.

The list below is the CARRYOVER List. Items from the Holiday Catalog that will carry over to the 2020 Holiday Catalog. They will not be orderable between the two catalogs however.
You could say I am carrying over yesterday’s Valentine Blog Hop with InKing Royalty. I have made a sweet and loving card using the new stamp set Special Someone. It is an accurate name for an adorable set. It reminds me of the Nature’s Beauty stamp set that was in the Holiday Catalog and carried over.
This card was made with the First Sketch from Mary Fish’s Stampin’ Pretty Sketchbook. #sps001. She shared the sketch on 01/13/2020. Here is the sketch.
I noticed in the Mini Catalog samples for Special Someone that the Squirrel and the Rat are facing each other. And even though I really, really, really dislike rats or mice, I do love the set. So they were my little love couple. The lovebirds are cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love the scalloped edge. And with the stitching they are very easy to adjust the size, which is what I had to do to shorten the piece for fit the couple.
I used a solid piece of Calypso Coral card stock behind the loverbirds and layered it on top of a great piece of DSP from the Bird Ballads Designer Series Paper. The Burlap Ribbon and Linen Thread are perfect partners. I needed something for the dots on the DSP so pulled out the faithful pearls. I colored them with the Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blend. If you have not tried this, you really should. They dry almost immediately and you can then have dots in any color you need.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will come back tomorrow for another new project.
