I am still showcasing a mix of New, Retiring, and Carry Over products. Today’s card is an even split on the three.
I cannot choose what I believe to be the star of this card. All of the elements are fairly special. I started with the Merry Merlot of the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper. In looking for a complimentary image, I came across the Path of Petals stamp set. By using the colors for the flowers, I completed the rest of the card colors.
The Path of Petals is a photopolymer stamp set. So it is very easy to overlay each piece. In looking for a sentiment to match the flowers, I found another carry over stamp set in Parcels & Petals. And to highlight the sentiment, I used the new catalog Favorite punch of Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. This punch is AWESOME!! It is two different ends and each has three sizes for the layer. I used the 1/2″ and 3/4″ sizes for the sentiment. Another great thing about this punch, is that it can be any length you need! WooHoo!!
Thank you for stopping in today. I greatly appreciate it. Please come back tomorrow for another new project.

In cleaning up my craft space and pulling retiring products, I have realized there are tons of DSP and pieces of DSP. Since I have been seeing all of the “scrap” cards, although I believe there is a more professional name, I decided to put all of those little pieces into a card.
The card is made from strips of the wonderful Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. I have used this paper quite often so I had various size scraps of it. I left the widths as they were and just layered them onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. After I trimmed all of the pieces, I layered that onto the Rococo Rose layer.
Besides the gorgeous DSP, the star of the card are these awesome new dies. They are the Tasteful Labels Dies. I love how you can see the bit of embossing in the Sahara Sand background one.
The sentiment is from the retiring set Perfectly Framed. It pairs with the Ornate Frames Dies that are Not retiring! But I do love the sentiments and fonts in the Perfectly Framed set. I believe it is still available!!
I grounded the sentiment layer with the 2019-2021 In Color Scalloped Ribbon in Pretty Peacock. I was pleasantly surprised that the ribbon for all of those In Colors is staying. WooHoo!! I also added a couple of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots in Purple Posy. The Faceted Dots and Enamel Dots are my go to for adding just a touch of something more. Since they are adhesive backed, they add so easily.
I hope you will give this scrappy type card a try. I know you have pieces of DSP or even embossed card stock around. I would love to see your version!

I have a sneak peek of new products to share today. This Suite is going to Wow everyone. Especially if you love to travel, as I do! It is the World Of Good Suite of products.
I know we are all on hold for our travel plans, as well as most plans, right now. However, I can still plan the next trip and remember fondly those I have already made. This stamp set is so pretty and I am only using a portion. The Designer Series Paper is World Of Good DSP. The map piece is GORGEOUS! It is in the new In Color Cinnamon Cider with Bronze Highlights. Oh My!! The map is of Europe and is very easy to see the locations. I really hated to cover it up.
The compass is another of the sheets from the DSP. And you can really see the awesome color of the second new In Color of Misty Moonlight. That is by far my favorite of the new colors. The base of the card is from that color as well. As is the ribbon! Love, Love, Love it!!!
I used probably the lesser of the stamps in the stamp set, but they fit the idea I had in my head. I stamped the feather in Gray Granite Ink and then the ink well and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. The additional little details are three of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots. I have always loves using the various enamel dots Stampin’ Up! has carried and these are in the best colors ever.
I have a tip for cutting the angle of the sentiment layer. I have the written directions and then two photos.
The piece of Whisper White is cut to 2 7/8 X 3 1/4
With the 2 7/8 across the top, place the top left corner on the 3/4″ mark on your paper trimmer.
Place the bottom right corner on the 1″ mark of your trimmer.
Cut off the angle that has.

The Parisian Blooms Designer Series Paper is just beautiful. So I find myself sharing yet another card with you using that paper. I am so happy the stamp set is carrying over. It is a favorite as well.
This card has a little more layers than normal. I wanted to showcase the paper, but also the simple sentiment. To do that I used the Painted Labels Dies for the swirly circle. The sentiment layer is cut using the Layering Circles Dies and fits perfectly inside the stitching. The flowers and leaves are cut using the Cherry Blossoms Dies that match the Forever Blossoms stamp set.
To sort of “ground” the swirly and flowers, I added an extra panel of the scripted DSP from the same DSP pack. As a finishing touch, I added a couple of the Champagne Rhinestones on the flowers and one above the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and please come back next week for more projects.

While going through the retiring products and especially the Designer Series paper, I find those that I want to use again. Today’s card is a mix of retiring and carry over. It is the Sailing Home Suite. The stamp set is carrying over, but sadly the DSP is retiring. I made a quick card with mostly scraps of the paper.
I love the stripes. There are more in the pack of paper, but these are the two I thought would work best here. I layered two strips onto a piece of Whisper White and then onto the Night of Navy base.
The banner is stamped with the anchor from the Sailing Away stamp set. I “stamped off” before stamping on the Whisper White card stock. The ink is Balmy Blue as is the anchor behind the sentiment. Except that one is stamped full strength. I cut the banner using the Banner Triple Punch.
The sentiment is from the stamp set as well. This is a one stamp set card. I punched the layers using the 2″ and 2 1/4″ circle punches. I tried a Night of Navy background circle but decided the Balmy Blue fit better against the navy stripe.
Thank you for stopping in today. I have the measurements for my card just below and all of the supplies are listed at the bottom of the post.
Measurements:
Base of Night of Navy is 4 1/4 X 11
Whisper White is 4 X 5 1/4
Navy stripe DSP is 2 1/2 X 5 1/8
Balmy Blue Stripe DSP is 1 3/8 X 5 1/8
Banner is 2 X 4 before punching

Hello, welcome to the Pals Blog Hop! This month our theme is “Goodbye to January-June Mini and 2019-2020 Annual Catalogs and Hello to 2020-2021 Annual Catalog” where the Design Team is showcasing their favorites from the retiring catalogs or products in the new catalog! You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I opted to use Retiring products for my card today. I have one item that is carrying over besides the card stock. I have to say, I chose the Honeybee Bundle. I am very surprised and a little sad that it did not carry over to the next catalog.
I used the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, which is also retiring, as the backdrop for my beehive. I love the colors and everyone knows that flowers and bees are a perfect pairing.
I stamped the beehive and sentiment as the main focal point of the card. But even with the addition of the little bee, I felt it needed something. So I added the Detailed Trio Punch to both of the upper corners of that layer. I love how the Mossy Meadow layer shows through.
When I added the two pieces of honeycomb, I decided to leave some of the hexagonal pieces in tact. I also felt that it needed “something” besides laying directly on the DSP. I came up with a plain piece of vellum card stock as the backdrop for the entire center layer. I like that.
My bow is a retiring product also. It is the Ruched Ribbon in Daffodil Delight. I intended originally for the bow to be just on the side of the card but in the normal direction. When I placed it there, it just did not work. I went to push it off and it turned slightly. It was an Ah Hah moment. I straightened it up and decided that the bow being sideways was just the right thing. I love when that happens.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for June 10th, with our theme “New 2020-2022 In Colors.” We can’t wait to show you the newest In Colors in the Stampin’ Up! color family. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

I am a little sad regarding today’s card. I love these adorable little guys in the This Little Piggy stamp set and am sad that this will be my last card with them. I made a quick 4 X 4 card to share the love.
I used shades of blue for the piggy card. That is an appropriate color for my friendly pigs! The base card is Blueberry Bushel, followed by Pacific Point, and then Balmy Blue. I inserted some Whisper White to even out the white of the piggy layer.
The piggy is stamped in Calypso Coral Ink and colored using both of the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I used the Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker to color just the sentiment of the pig. I then stamped the Love in Blueberry Bushel Ink. The heart is cut using the Stitched Be Mine Hearts. It is the smallest of the stitched / scalloped hearts. I added the ribbon and bow to hold the heart.
These are really quick and simple cards to make. I love the 4 X 4 and 3 X 3 versions. They are great for gift inserts, and as a Thinking of You little card.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please join me tomorrow on the Monthly Pals Blog Hop. There are quite a few participants with some great projects for you to see.

I know I remark quite often about the beauty of Stampin’ Up!s Designer Series Paper. I have a card today that really showcases some of that gorgeous paper. Sadly it is on the Retiring List, as is all of the current DSP.
I paired the Forever Blossoms stamp set with the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used two sheets of the beautiful paper. They are each 2 X 5 1/8, and overlap just a tiny bit. That is easier than trying to cut exactly. The panels are layered on Smoky Slate Card Stock cut to 4 X 5 1/4. The base card is Petal Pink and has seriously grown on me as a favorite color.
The flowers are from the Forever Blossoms stamp set. I stamped them in Smoky Slate Ink and colored the dark part of the petals with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. I left the rest of the petal white. The leaves are a mix of Both of the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Markers. The Smoky Slate layer is 2 5/8 X 4 5/8 and the Whisper White layer is 2 1/2 X 4 1/2.
For the shimmery ribbon, I ended up with just zig zagging it behind the layer. I tried other ways of adding it and didn’t really care for any of them. To add the ribbon, I took a piece aproximately 15″ long. I ran a strip of adhesive down the center of the card stopping below where the flower layer would be. Then I just layed the ribbon back and forth and made sure it adhered to that adhesive down the middle. That was easy and fun to do.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy this card and love this paper as much as I do!! All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the post.
I still have the retiring list up just below the Share Sunshine Download. However, if you click on the Shop button on the menu, you will be taken to my online store and be able to see what is still available. By this time probably quite a lot of the products are already sold out.

I have a little Spring Bouquet to share today. I used the Ornate Style stamp set. It is a new set to the next Annual Catalog, but it has been available for about a month now as a sneak peek. I shared one card earlier in the week with a single daisy from the set. Today I have the full bouquet for you.
I went a little on the wacky side with my layers for this card. I couldn’t decide on the colors of my normal layers and had all three of these colors on my desk playing with them. I layered all three to see which two I preferred and decided I liked them all. So to keep the bouquet the size it is, I had to go with a wacky layer look. And I am okay with that. This is not the first time that I have used this angled look.
For the definition on the layers, I used the leaf from Parcels & Petals stamp set. I stamped the leaf on all of the layers using Versamark Ink so that it is a lighter shade of the colors. The ribbon is the Daffodil Delight RuchedRibbon from the Mini Catalog.
The sentiments is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. It is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink to match the card base and it is die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love the different sizes and shapes of these dies. And I am thrilled that they carried over!!
Now for the bouquet!! I love this mix of flowers. I stamped the image using Gray Granite Ink. I like the light gray because it doesn’t show as much of an outline. I colored everything using a variety of Stampin’ Blends. All of the colors are listed in the supply list at the bottom of the post.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you have a nice weekend and check back in next week. I appreciate you visiting my projects.

I am sharing a bit of an old school technique today. And I am using a stamp set that is a favorite for background or collage type stamping. It is the Very Versailles stamp set and it is carrying over to the new catalog.
The technique I mentioned is the tearing of the paper and sponging the edges. I did not add too much color to the edges. I just wanted a touch of the “old” look to it. I felt this card was a perfect card for the torn edges with the colors I had chosen. It feels sort of the shabby chic look.
I stamped the Very Versailles stamps a couple of times on the background. And then one of the leaves on the top layer. I colored the butterfly with Stampin’ Blends and punched it using the Butterfly punch.
The ribbon is the Copper Trim, which is a dream to work with. Sadly it is on the Going Away list. I would grab it if you like this shining ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope to have some new products to show you tomorrow or Friday!! If you did not see my second post from yesterday, I shared the new 2020-2022 In Colors, you can click HERE to see those.
