I was making some 3 X 3 cards for a friend who loves handing them out. The thought struck me to make some Valentine ones for myself as well. These are really quick and simple. The better to make multiples of.
These colors are a bit out of the norm for Valentine, and I love that! I wanted to use the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration (sadly I believe it is all gone now). This is a great project for the 6 X 6 paper stacks or the regular 12 X 12 DSP. The DSP layer is 2 7/8 X 2 7/8, so you can get 4 from one 6 X 6 piece.
I chose the paper first to decide which colors I needed to stamp. Since I went with the Rococo Rose DSP, I stamped the hearts with Rococo Rose Ink. The stamp is from the Valentine Keepsakes stamp set in the Mini Catalog. It is designed to be able to create a continuous background!!
For the coordinating color, I chose Bermuda Bay. It is not one I would normally have paired with Rococo Rose. I chose it because it was a color included in the paper stack. So I knew the colors would work together.
The hearts are both from the Heart Punch Pack. I love punches for the ease of doing multiples! The sentiments are from the Valentine Keepsakes stamp set also. The precious little tag is from the Hydrangea Dies. I knew I had seen a small tag recently so began going through all of the dies until I found it. I stamped the sentiments in Bermuda Bay Ink and then used the Mini Cut & Emboss machine. These being so small , it was quick cutting them out. I did angle the Be Mine just a tad to better fit the tag.
The finishing touch is a little bow tied using the Snail Mail Twine Combo. Although I only used the pink one. It is attached to the top of the tag with a glue dot. I cut an 11″ piece of twine and then tied a finger bow.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you like the smaller and quick little cards. Please share your ideas with me.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! When I made this card, I did not realize, or I didn’t think of it being Valentine’s Day. I just adore this stamp set. It is the Music From My Heart. I saw a sampler someone had made the other day and it was so pretty. I decided to make a card from that idea. But for a music lover, or music teacher, the sampler would be an awesome gift!
I am not a Red and Black person at all. But I love it for this card. They seem to just fit this perfectly. I have a couple of layers going on with this card. I usually layer, but this is a bit more even for me. I just didn’t like the black on the red then red on the black. I felt like it needed to be broken up a little. The thin Whisper White layer fixed it for me.
I stamped all of the images in either Memento Tuxedo Black, my GoTo black, or in Real Red. The squares are from the Layering Squares Dies. I used the smallest ones that would fit my idea. The Real Red Ribbon down the side is the Real Red Double Stitched Ribbon from the Mini Catalog. I was so happy that I had that. I was trying to make it work with a White ribbon and it just wasn’t the perfect thing.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you have an Awesome Day and Wonderful Weekend!!

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because this month’s theme is “Art from the Heart” and we think you’re going to love it! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My card is definitely from the heart. It is covered in hearts and is perfect for anyone you love. But it does not have to be for Valentine’s Day. This one would be appreciated at any time. Besides the hearts, I have an unexpected choice to pair with them.
I have made a Waterfall Card to share my From the Heart theme. I had not made one of these in years. The ones I have made previously were single layer with the waterfall on the front and you added your wording to the bottom of the waterfall. This one is a bit different in that I placed the waterfall on a full size card. So you have the inside to add extra sentiment and your love.
Here are some of the pulls to show the different images.
I hope this gives you a different perspective of the Over The Moon set ! I think these guys and gals are just adorable and a fit for many occasions..
I am going to do a quick video on how I made this, but I am sure there are several on YouTube already. I will say that the most important aspect of the building of your layers, is to not glue down the cross bar. That has to be secured with brads or in a way that only the edges of the strip are attached. Otherwise your waterfall cannot pull through.
I have listed all of the supplies i used at the bottom of the post. Don’t forget to take a look.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 11th, for our “Critter Card” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects with animals, birds, butterflies or insects. Don’t miss the fun!

I am not quite over Valentine’s Day cards, even though I have shared quite a few. I have another one for you today. This one with a change of colors would work for many other occasions.
I think this little racoon is adorable. And that is saying a lot since we had a family decide to check out our garage and the cat food!!
I have mixed several products for this card, but only one stamp set. It is the Special Someone and it so darn cute. I stamped the racoon base in Gray Granite (probably would have looked better in Smoky Slate) then the second layer stamped in Soft Suede. The balloon is stamped with Flirty Flamingo for the first stamp and Real Red for the top stamp.
The layers are all from the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I felt it needed something else, so added the one red heart. It is the heart out of the Dog Builder Punch. I angled the sentiment more for a space reason than layout. Although I like it raised above the other plus it shows off the DSP. The paper is the From My Heart Designer Series Paper.
Thank you for checking in today. All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the page. Please return next week for more new projects. And don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration deals as well as the AWESOME JOIN PROMOTION. You can read about the join promotion in the next paragraph.

You could say I am carrying over yesterday’s Valentine Blog Hop with InKing Royalty. I have made a sweet and loving card using the new stamp set Special Someone. It is an accurate name for an adorable set. It reminds me of the Nature’s Beauty stamp set that was in the Holiday Catalog and carried over.
This card was made with the First Sketch from Mary Fish’s Stampin’ Pretty Sketchbook. #sps001. She shared the sketch on 01/13/2020. Here is the sketch.
I noticed in the Mini Catalog samples for Special Someone that the Squirrel and the Rat are facing each other. And even though I really, really, really dislike rats or mice, I do love the set. So they were my little love couple. The lovebirds are cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love the scalloped edge. And with the stitching they are very easy to adjust the size, which is what I had to do to shorten the piece for fit the couple.
I used a solid piece of Calypso Coral card stock behind the loverbirds and layered it on top of a great piece of DSP from the Bird Ballads Designer Series Paper. The Burlap Ribbon and Linen Thread are perfect partners. I needed something for the dots on the DSP so pulled out the faithful pearls. I colored them with the Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blend. If you have not tried this, you really should. They dry almost immediately and you can then have dots in any color you need.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will come back tomorrow for another new project.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Valentine’s Day, so prepare yourself for lots of hearts and beautiful showcases of love. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My choice for a Valentine’s Day card is a bit different. I am not a big fan of Red. As I was looking for options, I came across the Parisian Suite of products. I new I had found my substitution. It is a tad unusual, but I hope you will like it.
I definitely went in a different direction from Red! I chose Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Soft Sea Foam. I hope you will agree with me that the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper does have a hint of romance in it. Of course, the “Amour ” pretty much defines the intention.
The flowers and die cuts are from the Forever Blossoms Bundle. This is a bundle for any occasion. The sentiment is from the Parisian Dies. It is the finishing touch.
I am hooked on the soft look to the flowers. I made a similar “soft” card last week. You can see it HERE. My go to for beginning the softness of the flowers is to stamp them in Smoky Slate instead of Black. I then colored only the highlighted areas and left the rest plain white.
I stamped and cut the branch with flowers as well as two extra blossoms. The “Amour” is die cut from Smoky Slate. Everything is placed with Multi purpose Glue except for the blossoms. One is added on top of another blossom for definition. The second is anchoring the sentiment.
I also stamped the large image on the inside of the card and added a sweet sentiment there.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Sue Jackson at Just Peachy Stamping. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
